Abstract: The invention relates to a box-like container for flat mailings in the upright position, comprising a stack support, which may be removed from the container open at the top, a base, two narrow front face walls and two lateral longitudinal walls. The mailings are arranged with the largest sides thereof facing the front face walls. The inner sides of the lateral longitudinal walls comprise straight long recesses, open to above, arranged at regular intervals perpendicular to the base, which are wider in the longitudinal direction of the lateral longitudinal walls than the slot like openings thereof to the container interior. The stack supports have formed elements at both lateral ends thereof which may only be slid into place in the long recesses perpendicular to the base with a positive fit connection through the slot like opening.

Abstract: An instrument enclosure apparatus has a housing with a sidewall and a pair of retaining posts disposed within the housing and adjacent the sidewall, the retaining posts in combination with the sidewall defining a pair of opposing channels for slidably receiving a complementarily shaped insert part. Vents may be disposed along the sidewall of the housing, and the insert part assists in providing adaptable air flow management design.

Abstract: A storage bin for use in extended cab pickup trucks having a rear seating area. The storage bin is an opened topped rectangular box, with a removable divider that is specifically designed to fit in the space beneath the rear seat the extended cab pickup truck. The use of the storage bin allows the owner of the extended cab pickup truck to store valuable items, such as electronics gear or guns in a secure manner that is out of sight from individuals on the outside of the vehicle.

Abstract: A table top or wall mountable organizing station for mail or other documents and related items is disclosed in the present invention. The organizer is centered around an open fronted box having a plurality of adjustable, vertical dividers which typically define 31 slots for organizing documents, such as bill, by due date or other sorting criteria. Drawers below and above the sorting slots, and a tray between the upper drawers, provide storage for unsorted mail, including magazines and similar sized documents, as well as related items, such as scissors, paper clips, postage, and the like. An ancillary sorting and storage tray which may be placed atop the upper drawers provide vertical sorting/storage slots for additional mail/documents, and open topped storage boxes allow additional storage for small related items.

Abstract: A container (10) for holding parts during a heat treating process. The container includes a bottom plate (14), end walls (20 and 22), sidewalls (30 and 32) and dividers (40, 42 and 44) which are connected together using a tab and slot construction to form an egg crate structure. The construction of the container reduces the effects of the heat treating process on the container. The guide cradle (58) in the compartment (12) of the container supports the cylinder head in the compartment and reduces the movement of the cylinder head during the heat treating process. The positioners (60) on the top portion (58A) of the guide cradle guides the cylinder head into the guide cradle and into the compartment. The bottom portion (58B) of the guide cradle supports the cylinder head above the bottom plate.

The use of the management apparatus will assure that each card will be not only periodically reviewed, but also reviewed a fixed number of times before it is put on the side.

Abstract: A stackable container with internal divider includes a container body having a tapered sidewall and base panel is particularly suitable for use with crushed ice drinks. First and second divider panels are movable between a stacking mode and a use mode. In the stacking mode, the first and second divider panels are substantially parallel, and are bent to conform to the inside surface of the sidewall of the container body. In the stacking mode, the container bodies may stacked in a nested manner, in which the inside surface of a lower cup contacts the outside surface of an upper cup, and the first and second divider panels of the lower cup are carried in the stacking mode configuration between the two cups. In the use mode, the first and second divider panels are oriented substantially perpendicularly to each other. In the use mode, four quarter cavities are defined within the cavity defined within the container body.

Abstract: A pressure tight travel case for airline passengers for use in the unpressurized baggage compartment of an aircraft, comprising a container having side walls and a bottom defining an opening and a cavity; a first partition removably insertable within the cavity, wherein the first partition includes opposing side edges, a top edge and a bottom edge; and a cover matable with the container to close the cavity, the cover including a sealing device for creating a seal between the cover and the container sufficient to prevent pressurized air within the container from leaking through the sealing device during flight. The travel case further includes guiding grooves for guiding the insertion of the first partition into the cavity, and wherein the opposing side edges of the first partition are formed to matably engage the guiding grooves.

Abstract: Switch connecting structures include a housing having an insertion hole, and an operation lever slidably mounted in the housing. The operation lever includes a push member protruding from said housing. A resilient contact plate is carried by the operation lever so as to be slidable therewith. A connection terminal is provided having a resilient clamp portion and a contact plate portion. The contact plate portion is inserted into the insertion hole of the housing and extending therewithin over a range of slidable movement of the operation lever so as to be in contact with the resilient contact plate. In such a manner, the clamp portion is connectable to a bus bar for electrical connection of the switch to a circuit.

Abstract: A substantially rectangular multi-purpose craft comprising a outwardly extending, convexly-curved front and back walls, and side walls, the front, back and side walls surrounding a main compartment, a front tray which extends outwards from the upper portion of the front wall, and a contoured lid to cover the multipurpose craft box. The main compartment contains a plurality of opposing grooves for receiving a partition so that the main compartment may be subdivided into smaller compartments. A shoulder runs along the inside surfaces of the front and back wails forming a resting surface for supporting a container. The front tray is divided into a plurality of compartments. Opposing slots located in the inner wails of the compartments for receiving dividers allows a user to further subdivide each front tray compartment.

Abstract: A movable laundry storage unit is provided which generally comprised of a rigid body member having a closed bottom and an open top end and defining a clothing and article storage area. A pair of wheel members are preferably attached to the bottom of the body member and handle member is attached to the back portion of the body member. The storage unit can be provided with one or more dividers for sectioning the storage area into two or more compartments. A cover member is also provided to prevent any stored clothing or articles from falling out of the storage area while the storage unit is in transit.

Abstract: A device is disclosed for use in organizing, storing and transporting hardware and other small items. The device comprises a plurality of identically constructed circular trays designed to be vertically stacked within the interior volume of a standard-sized bucket. Each tray is provided with a plurality of radial partitions which divide the tray into separate compartments suitable for the organized storage of groups of like items. The trays are further provided with a handle for grasping and lifting the trays. The underside of the tray floors are adapted with a cylindrical recess allowing the handle of the inferior tray to nest within the recess disposed in the floor of the superior tray when the trays are stacked within the bucket.

The device includes a rectangular container having a dividing assembly extending across an interior thereof to separate the interior into two compartments. At least one second rail, but preferably a plurality of second rails, are connected to the left side rack wall. There is a top rack wall and a bottom rack wall connected to the back rack wall. The top rack wall is also connected to the left side rack wall and connected to the right side rack wall. At least one storage bin has a back bin wall and a front bin wall. The storage bin has a right side bin wall connected to the back bin wall and connected to the front bin wall. A left side bin wall is connected to the back bin wall and is connected to the front bin wall. There is a first groove, to receive the first rail, in the right side bin wall.

Abstract: A storage tray for holding different sized data storage media, such as diskettes, has more than one mode. The storage tray has a flat bottom having an upper surface and opposite front and rear walls which extend upward from the bottom. A pair of opposite sidewalls extend between the front and rear walls and are provided with an inwardly protruding ledge to define a recessed portion in which diskettes of a first size are stored. At least one removable plate having a center partition inserts into the storage tray and is supported on the opposite ledges so that the lower surface of the tray faces the bottom. The plate allows diskettes of a second, smaller size to be stored on the upper surface of the plate on either side of the partition and between the sidewalls of the storage tray. Dividing members can be inserted into the plate slots for supporting the diskettes of the second size. The dividing members releasably couple together.

Abstract: An apparatus for supporting an article in shock-isolating, spaced relation to the walls of a container is provided. A support wall and a plurality of lateral support members define a partial enclosure for receiving the article. Corner support members secure the support wall and the lateral support members in the configuration defining the enclosure. Spacer support members extend from the lateral support members to position the article receiving enclosure in spaced relation away from the walls, the top and the bottom of the container, to provide shock-isolation for protecting the article supported, capped and at least partially received by the apparatus.

Abstract: A waste container is designed to accommodate sorting of waste in a plurality of basic categories, such as recyclables, compostables, and terminal wastes. The container is constructed from a plurality of individual components which may be assembled for use. The container includes a floor supported large receptacle which supports a hollow shell having a closable lid. One or more smaller receptacles are supported within the shell overlying the larger opening. The shell and smaller receptacles are configured to provide a passageway therebetween to allow direct access to the larger receptacle without disturbing the container's assembled relationship.

Abstract: A fitting structure of partition plates to a structure is disclosed which is directed to providing a sufficient bonding strength to one of the surfaces of an end portion of the partition plates fitted to a groove and a sufficient water-stopping property to the other surface.When the end portion of the partition plate is fitted to the groove, a very small space is defined between one of the side surfaces of the end portion and one of the side walls of the groove opposing the former, through a spacer, and a sealing material is set in a thin film form in this space. A large space is defined between the other side surface of the end portion and the other side wall of the groove opposing the former, through a thick spacer, and the sealing material is set in a thick form in this space.

Abstract: A multi-media storage tray with at least one uni-directional partition member provided to store and organize different combinations of media. The bottom of the try is provided with a plurality of positioning slots each surrounded by detents having substantially the same shape as the partition members. The partition members will fit in the detents only when the partitions are oriented in a single direction.

Abstract: A recycle and trash container with continuous supply of bags comprises a refuse container, trash bag housings and a base. The trash bag housing can hold the trash bags in a roll and is placed inside the base. Said refuse container can be placed on top of the base. In the center of the refuse container there are two slots which are designed for the insertion of two dividing plates, thus dividing the refuse container into two containers which can hold different types of trash. Each of the divided container has a reverse V-shaped projecting board on its bottom. At the top of each of the projecting boards is an elongated gaps from which the trash bags can be pulled through and hung on the container. When the refuse container is filled up, the trash bag can be pulled up and removed. An empty trash bag will also come through the elongated gap and may be placed on the refuse container for use.

Abstract: A portable easel suitcase comprising a casing which is preferably a parallelepiped with an opening closed by a removable flat lid. A shallow pan-like, rectangular tool holder, for receiving therein painting tools, is disposed inside the casing in such a way to form an interspace therebetween so as to interpose pieces of drawing paper therebetween. A plurality of supporting slots are formed on the casing to support the flat lid in an inclined position for serving as a painting board. A handle may also attached on the casing for carrying the portable easel suitcase.

Abstract: A casing includes a tubular wall portion of a deformation-resistant material and respective end portions. At least one longitudinal part of the wall portion is shaped as a lamellar part (12) with one longitudinal edge thereof being hinged to the remaining part of the wall portion. The best possible access to the interior of the casing will be obtained if the wall portion is assembled of several identical lamellar parts (12), so that a folding structure is provided which is also useful as a deposit and display tray.

Abstract: A generally rectangular container for the storage and protection of sports cards having a rigid Internal Enclosure (6) which is slidably insertable and completely removable from a rigid External Enclosure (8).The External Enclosure (8) incorporates two Fingergrip cutouts (8a) and (8a') located to the front and to either side of the External Enclosure (8) to permit grasping the Internal Enclosure (6) for removal. The Internal Enclosure (6) has the capacity to store a plurality of cards and permit random access of such cards by utilizing spaced Bottom Rails (6a) and (6a') which create a gap sufficient for the insertion of a finger or fingers to raise any specific card, or series of cards, up and out of the card stack. The front panel insert (10) to the Internal Enclosure (6) is transparent, thus permitting visibility of the first card in any sequential ordering of cards.

Abstract: A refuse container wherein removable partitions permit adjustment of compartments therewithin, wherein each of the partitions permit securement of trash bags of a typical polymeric configuration and construction to position within each compartment. Hook members are mounted to a plurality of side walls of the container and extend exteriorly above an upper edge of the container walls to cooperate with selective apertures directed through a lid. In this manner, the lid is pivotal about one of a plurality of pairs of such hook members when remaining hook members are removed. A modification of the invention includes reservoirs and back securement members positionable over upper edges of the container to secure selective bags within the container, wherein the securement members include reservoirs to permit adding of various insecticides and fumigants within the containers during use.

Abstract: The disclosed partitioned wastebasket has component pieces including an outer receptacle, one or more partition inserts, and a cover, operatively interfitted relative to one another. The outer receptacle has a bottom wall and a side wall upstanding therefrom to an open upper top, and opposing handles are formed adjacent the open upper top. Each partition insert is sized to fit closely adjacent the outer receptacle walls, and has front and rear hooks that thereupon become operatively interfixed to the outer receptacle to hold each partition insert within the outer receptacle and to hold the outer receptacle side wall against outward flexture. Hinge structure between the cover and each partition insert movably supports the cover for opening and closing the outer receptacle.

Alternatively, the receptacle can have a two-stage bi-level lid and bag retainer assembly which includes a lower annular bag retainer member and an upper cover member. The lower bag retainer member is hinged and releasably matable to the container body for holding and securing an open top edge of trash bags on the container body. The upper cover member is hinged to the lower annular bag retainer member for opening and closing and can have slidable doors to permit access to the separate compartments in the container body and the trash bags held therein.

Abstract: A hand-portable storage container with two headrest cushions designed for use by one or two children in the backseat of an automobile or other vehicle. The preferred overall configuration of the apparatus resembles a child's play house with a two-sided inclined roof structure, to which is attached two large pillows, one on each side. The left and right sections of the roof structure are preferably hinged. This gives the children access to internal storage compartments underneath the left and right sections of the roof structure, where the children may place toys, books, crayons or other supplies to keep them occupied on longer trips in the car. The storage compartments preferably include removable dividers with pockets or pouches for storing pencils or other small objects. The pillows are headrest cushions upon which the children may comfortably nap simultaneously, even while each is safely restrained by a seat belt in the backseat of a vehicle.

Abstract: A dual purpose waste receptacle including a trash container having an open and a closed end and provided with a removable top, having a pair of oppositely disposed swinging doors, releasably covering the open end. The top open end of the container has a transverse divider disposed therein and provided with a pair of spaced vertically extending edges defining an elongated open channel extending the length thereof and facing the open top end of the trash container. The vertically extending divider edges receive a portion of the top of each of two trash can liners in overlapping relationship thereon and frictionally receive a crossbar carried by the removable top to assist in retaining the top and the trash can liners in position. A pair of diametrically disposed handles are carried by the removable top and engage under the overhanging lip exterior surface of the can top.

Abstract: A tissue staining cassette includes a container for reagent, a slide retainer for securing a plurality of slides and for suspending the slides in reagent in the container with tissue specimens immersed in the reagent. The slide retainer consists of an open ended cylindrical body having channel containing inserts disposed in the body with the channels opposed for receiving the edges of slides. Depending spring arms corresponding to each of the channels are affixed in the cylindrical body and the end of each spring arm extends into its respective channel. As slides are inserted into the channels the spring arm is displaced and responsive to the displacement the slide is clamped between the end of the spring arm and a wall of the channel. In another embodiment resilient wall members extend across the bore of the slide retainer body to divide the bore of the retainer body into slide receiving areas corresponding to the opposed channels.
