Intersecting Partitions Patents (Class 220/552)
  • Patent number: 5289941
Abstract: A reconfigurable article storage container includes a plurality of identical panels, each including at least two slots formed by connector webs integrally formed with and extending between adjacent panel sections forming each panel. Certain panels are invertible 180.degree. and oriented perpendicular to adjacent panels such that interconnecting slots formed by the connector webs between adjacent panel sections of each panel can be slidably engaged to form any polygonal or irregular shaped storage container having any number and size of individual storage compartments formed therein between certain of the interconnected panels. Edge connectors interconnect the ends of two panels in a co-linear arrangement to increase the length of any wall of the storage container.

  • Patent number: 5265993
Abstract: A truck bed divider system for placement within the bed of a truck includes at least one primary divider and at least one secondary divider. The primary dividers include brackets at each end that provide a frictional fit against the interior side of the walls of the bed of the truck. By a slotted interrelationship, the primary dividers are situated within the bed at their preferred positions and are thereafter adjusted by extending the brackets outward relative to the divider body to their maximum extent whereby they are pressed against the side of the bed and held thereto by tension, thus eliminating the need for fasteners. The secondary dividers are provided with hooks at their ends and are interfittable between the primary dividers by being hooked into slots perpendicularly defined in the body of the primary dividers. Both primary and secondary dividers are preferably provided with shelf extensions for the placement of shelves thereupon.

  • Patent number: 5096056
Abstract: The memento box includes a box-like structure having a floor, opposing sidewalls, and a lid hinged to one of the sidewalls. The lid covers the top of the box and defines a closed interior space within the box. A latch or releasable means is provided to keep the lid in a closed position on the box. A plurality of removable and changeable interfitting partitions form a matrix that is sized to fit within the interior space. The height of the partitions and, hence, the matrix is such that when the partitions are placed in the interior space, a book can be stored in the memento box and the interspace within the box above the partitions is at least one-half inch thick to accommodate the book. In addition, the memento box includes a pocket for retaining flat sheet mementos such as photographs. Preferably, the pocket includes a transparent cover. The pocket is attached to the inboard side of the lid.

  • Patent number: 5052580
Abstract: The vehicle cargo storage organizer has a plurality of first side wall panels and second side wall panels that are used to store or transport a host of differing items. The side wall panels have joining slots that allow the side wall panels to be formed into rectangular storage areas. There are ports in the panels into which a plurality of fastening means can be inserted to give a greater stability to the structure if needed. The side wall panels have a length sizing means to shorten the length of the panels to custom fit the structure. The second side wall panels are higher than the first side wall panels. The joining slots of the second side wall panels can be inserted into the joining slots of the first side wall panels at selected joining slots. The second side wall panels are used form rectangular storage areas that are higher than those formed with only first side wall panels. The higher storage areas can be used to accommodate additional or larger items.
