Abstract: A disposable support pan has a sidewall with a top lip that support the lips of rectangular food trays above a support surface. A disposable suspension tray inside the support pan has a flange resting on a support pan shoulder so the bottoms of two pockets in the suspension tray are between the support surface and the bottom of the food trays. Water in each pocket reacts with a calcium-oxide packet in each pocket to boils a predetermined amount of water to generate steam that heats the food trays without having the packets contact the food trays. One or two tray supports on each side of the pan may extend from the shoulder to a top support flange extending outward around a periphery of the support pan. The suspension tray has corresponding recesses to mate with the tray supports to keep steam from entering the area below the suspension tray.

Abstract: A freight container in the form of a tractor-trailer or intermodal container which is convertible for selectively carrying solid freight or bulk liquid freight including a housing, a plurality of collapsible tanks in the housing, liquid outlets in the tanks and conduits in communication with the liquid outlets located entirely within the housing and an opening in the housing proximate the outlets of the conduits. A liquid washing assembly is permanently mounted on the tanks both in the expanded and collapsed conditions of the tanks. Guide structure is provided in association with the frame of the collapsible tanks for guiding the frame in a perfectly vertical direction both when the tanks are being expanded and being collapsed. The upper and lower edges of the tank sides are bolted and clamped to their associated frames. Hot air ducts encircle the liquid conduits in the bases of the tanks.

  • Patent number: 6286415
Abstract: An otherwise conventional automatic-chip coffee maker has a glass carafe made with an inner layer and an outer layer separated by an air gap. Openable apertures allow hot air to enter the air gap when the carafe is supported on a base. The hot air is supplied from a heating coil by a fan and flows into the air gap. During preparation of coffee the hot air can be used to initially heat up the carafe, to brew coffee in the carafe and to keep the coffee warm.

  • Patent number: 6213336
Abstract: The temperature-storing cup/pot structure mainly comprises a cup/pot and a seat. The bottom face of the cup/pot is disposed with a temperature-storing conducting element. A temperature-storing acting body of the seat is fixed by an insulating member and is pushed by a resilient member. The temperature-storing acting body should be preheated to a desired temperature and then is moved on the seat. The resilient member will make the temperature-storing acting body close contact with the temperature-storing conducting element of the cup/pot to keep the cup/pot hot or cold for a period of time. It does not need the plug. It has no electrical wire connection problem. And, it can be used for a hot or cold drink.
