The casing is formed by winding of the multilayer material into sleeve form and liquid-tight sealing of the material edges to a joint seam extending longitudinally of the sleeve, the top portion being manufactured in that thermoplastic material is extruded to form a hose which is blow molded into continuous top portions which are separated from one another and connected to the sleeve.

Abstract: A large capacity reinforced swimming pool for use in an above-the-ground environment includes a flexible plastic liner for containing water. The liner includes a continuous sidewall and a bottom wall bonded to the sidewall by a joining seam. The continuous sidewall is formed from a partial outer layer and a partial inner layer. An inflatable top ring is mounted to the top of the sidewall for supporting the liner in an upright position. A continuous reinforcing layer is bonded to the continuous sidewall with a first plurality of continuous reinforcing seals for reinforcing the sidewall. A second plurality of continuous reinforcing seals located at an interface between the partial outer layer and the partial inner layer of the sidewall functions to reinforce the sidewall. Each of the first and second plurality of continuous reinforcing seals includes at least two seals.

The body has a frustoconical sidewall with a radial bottom rim and the base has a shorter frustoconical sidewall with a radial bottom rim. The rims are advantageous in that they allow stacks of the container bodies and bases to be processed with container feeding equipment presently in use as the rims provide distinct structure for being fed by the mechanical devices of the equipment. An energy director area is provided between the rims for ultrasonically attaching the container body and base. The container body has a smooth sidewall over substantially its entire extent without indentations or bumps for maximizing the printing area thereon.

Abstract: The present invention related to a method and a device for reducing the number of water vapor molecules per unit volume in a housing (1) by providing an end (11) of the housing (1) which has a lower thermal inertia than the rest of the housing with perforations (15). When the temperature outside the housing (1) falls some of the more energetic water vapor molecules in the housing (1) will leave the housing (1) via the perforations (15) and a small number of the less energetic molecules will enter the housing from the surroundings. This will lead to a nett flow of water vapor molecules out of the housing (1).

  • Patent number: 6179157
Abstract: A container for a hydraulic medium made of a plastic material has a container cup (1), which can be closed by a cover (2). The positions of the container cup (1) and the cover (2) in respect to each other are matched along a joint (7), and are fixed in place by a fitting insert (8). Faces (10, 11), which adjoin each other, are respectively arranged on the container cup (1) and the cover (2). A welding plate (12), which is also made of a plastic material, extends over the adjoining surfaces of the container cup (1) and the cover (2), and is matched to the adjoining faces (10, 11). The container cup (1) and the cover (2) are sealingly connected with each other via the welding plate (12) by an inertia welding process so as to prevent particles of the plastic material, which are generated in the form of lateral welding waste in the course of the inertia welding process, to reach the interior of the container for the hydraulic medium.
