Abstract: A high-capacity self-locking toolbox with three opening modes, which includes a box frame, a box cover, and a clamping base. The box frame includes an upper box frame and a lower box frame which are folded in the middle to make two pieces. The box cover includes an upper box cover and a lower box cover. The two box covers are respectively provided on an upper surface and a lower surface of the box frame. A reinforced rib surface is provided inside an inner wall of the box frame. The reinforced rib surface is provided with self-locking clamping members in pairs, and the clamping base is installed in the self-locking clamping members. The three opening modes enable the toolbox to be opened from the upper side, the lower side, or the middle, so as to have access to the tools from any side of the toolbox. The interior of the toolbox is designed in modular, the clamping base has a self-locking function, and the tools have a compact arrangement.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and device, for a cryogenic storage system that stores and/or transports a liquid or gas at a temperature below ambient temperature. The cryogenic storage system has an enclosure and a cavity. The cryogenic storage system has a dewar that is positioned within the cavity of the enclosure. The dewar has a payload area that is configured to hold a liquid below ambient temperature. The dewar is configured to hold a liquid below ambient temperature and passively stabilize in an upright position. The dewar is formed with an inner wall and an outer wall and has an opening that allows access to the payload area.

Abstract: A multi-purpose container system includes a first container that has attached to it opposed pairs of legs. Each pair of legs may pivot from a first position to a second position rotated about 180 degrees. In the second position of the legs, the first container may be supported inverted with its opening facing downward. In that orientation, a recessed area is facing upward and has a periphery sized to receive a second container. The second container may be placed with its bottom edges received within the recessed area to support the second container. In that orientation, the second container is significantly elevated from a floor surface. Thus, tools and supplies may be stored within the second container elevated off the floor allowing a workman easy access to the interior of the second container to retrieve tools and supplies while performing work.

Abstract: A five-legged moving and storage container has self-leveling or self-raising ability: two wheeled legs at the second end of the device extend as the first end is pulled up a tilted tow truck bed. By extending the legs to raise the second end of the moving container at the same rate that the first end is pulled up the slope of the bed, the container is maintained level. As the tow truck bed is leveled, the legs can then be retracted to match and again the device remains level. No special infrastructure is required: it may be loaded and unloaded in any location having a normal flat-bed tow truck. It may have three additional legs at the other end: one in the middle with a wheel, two at the corners without, allowing it to raise itself or be raised and stabilized at dock height.

Abstract: A mounting assembly for supporting a fuel supply on a vehicle, which is adapted for operable support and positioning of an auxiliary fuel supply. The vehicle may vary significantly, but is primarily structured for use on mine haul vehicles, bulldozers, and other heavy duty vehicles, wherein the operation thereof is enhanced through the provision of an auxiliary, or alternate fuel supply such as, but not limited to, liquid natural gas (LNG), selectively powering the engine as determined by an improved electronic control system. The mounting assembly comprises a containment structure including at least one fuel tank and a housing structured to enclose the fuel tank. A base supports both the housing and the fuel tank and a shield assembly protects the fuel tank against impact in the working environment of the vehicle.

Abstract: A leg structure supports in an upright position a container having a piping port in the bottom of the container. The leg structure is provided with fixed legs fixed or removably mounted to the container, a movable leg capable of moving relative to the fixed legs so as to approach and be separated in the horizontal direction from the fixed legs while supporting the container, and the connecting section for connecting the container and the fixed legs to each other such that the container is maintained upright relative to the fixed legs.

Abstract: The improved portable gas can includes adjustable legs along a bottom surface, which aid in stabilizing the gas can on a floor of a vehicle while in transit. The gas can includes an extension leg that is also located on the bottom surface, and which is able to secure the gas can by engaging between the truck bed surface and the tail gate. The extension leg is comprises of a lateral member and a second member pivotably engaged thereto. The second member of the extension leg is configured to extends and engage in between the truck bed and tail gate of a truck thereby securing the gas can in place while in transit. The gas can further includes a recess handle along a front surface as well as a handle positioned atop of the gas can to aid in manipulating and carrying the gas can.

Abstract: An adjustable support assembly is provided that includes a front left base support, a front left lower elongated support and a front left upper elongated support. Also included are a front right base support, a front right lower elongated support, and a front right upper elongated support. Such supports are designed to be placed in a structural wall, particularly the structural wall of the cooling tower, wherein an opening would be cut in the wall to receive an entry door. The support assembly provides structural integrity from the lower section of the cooling tower to the upper section of the cooling tower, and allows the door opening to be cut out without loss of such structural integrity.

Abstract: A leg assembly for selective attachment to a portable support structure having a base and removable lid. The leg assembly includes a plurality of legs that are selectively attachable to both the base and lid. When attached, the legs extending from the base to the lid thereby supporting the lid. The legs are substantially parallel to one another. The assembly further includes at least one cross member extending between two of the legs to stabilize and prevent lateral movement of the legs. The cross member also abutingly contacts and supports the lid whereby the base and lid function as a support structure.

Abstract: A lifting device is for a container. The lifting device is attached at one end of the container. The lifting device includes an undercarriage provided with one or more wheels: and an actuator arranged to move the undercarriage of the lifting device between a first position, not engaging the supporting surface, and a second position, engaging the supporting surface, so that in the position of the undercarriage engaging the supporting surface, one end of the container is lifted up from the supporting surface. The undercarriage of the lifting device is connected to the actuator via at least one connecting body, the connecting body being connected to the actuator and movable therewith.

Abstract: A tray for use during painting includes a stair adaptor for leveling the tray along stairs and maintaining the tray on a workbench. The tray body has at least one utility recess defined therein for situating paint cans, paint stirrers, and paint brushes. A roller tray is further defined within the tray body. A front cut-out is defined along the front which is well-suited to allow the tray to be secured to a workbench by way of workbench swivel pegs. Slots are defined within the underside traveling an entire width of the tray body. A stair adaptor is adapted to engage the slots. As a result, upon placement of the tray body on an upper step of a stairway the stair adaptor levels the tray while the base of the stair adaptor rests on an adjacent lower step.

Abstract: This invention provides a holder for a sandwich that covers and protects the sandwich, and that allows an end of the sandwich to be exposed to the user while gripping the shell/housing. The holder includes an advancing mechanism that allows the sandwich end to be variably directed through an open end of the holder's shell/housing so that a portion to be eaten is exposed exclusively, while the remainder of the sandwich remains covered and isolated from the user's hands. In an illustrative embodiment, the holder and advancing mechanism is particularly suited to a small child's hands and associated motor skills. A flexible strip can extend from an actuation mechanism, such as a roller spool with an external knob assembly, around a plurality of guides to form a sling around a sandwich-holding base. Rotating the knob in an advance direction cause the strip to be drawn in, thereby raising the base.

The adjustment mechanism includes a selectively rotatable cam for moving a corner block between an extended position and a retracted position. Abstract: A stowing mechanism for a laptop or other device can secure different devices with varying thicknesses and widths within a compartment. The mechanism includes a cover which serves as the actuator for a jack mechanism. A pressure plate pivotally attached to the jack mechanism pushes against the device when the lid is closed, thereby securing the device within the compartment. The device can be released from the secure position by opening the cover. A buffer spring operating in conjunction with the jacking mechanism allows the mechanism to secure devices having different thicknesses and widths, while the pivotal pressure plate allows the plate to conform to devices having different shapes.

Abstract: A container includes a first bowl suspended by a dual-axis gimbal within—and out of contact with—a second bowl. The first bowl includes a first opening and the second bowl includes a second opening. The first opening overlies the second opening to permit access to an interior storage space of the first bowl from an exterior of the container when the first and second bowls are in respective upright orientations. The first bowl may be rotated 180 degrees in every rotational direction relative to the second bowl. A lid is removably attachable to the second bowl and that inhibits rotational movement of the first bowl. A handle circumferentially extends entirely around the second bowl and defines an opening for a finger or thumb for gripping and holding of the container when the lid is attached.

Abstract: A stand for an electrical box is provided to maintain an electrical box having at least one hub a predetermined distance from a concrete form prior to and during the concrete being poured. The stand has extensions with ribs thereon at different longitudinal positions from the base permitting the electrical box to be supported by the stand at different heights with respect to the concrete form to permit access to the hubs of the electrical box with electrical tubing and to accommodate concrete slabs of different thicknesses using the same height of electrical box. The electrical box and stand assembly have a locking mechanism to lock the electrical box to the stand at the selected predetermined distance from the form. The locking mechanism has hooks which engage indentations on mounting tabs of the electrical box. The mounting tabs have grooves which guide the hooks to the indentations.

The stackable bucket can be placed into another stackable bucket for storage when not in use. A pair of rectangular shaped footpads are provided. A mechanism is for pivotally securing each rectangular shaped footpad into the bottom wall of the stackable bucket at an opposite side of the stackable bucket. When the rectangular shaped footpads are pivoted outwardly away from opposite sides of the side wall of the stackable bucket and the bottom wall of the stackable bucket is placed upon a floor, a person will stand upon the pair of rectangular shaped footpads to prevent rotation of the stackable bucket when mixing the materials within the stackable bucket.

A dustbin of adjustable height, comprises: an outside container body and an inside container body, a compression spring provided between the bottom of outside container body and the bottom of inside container body, a longitudinal row of grooves provided at the side wall of inside container body, a level regulator provided at the side wall of outside container body, with its left end embeds in the groove and its right end coupling with a switch means to control the horizontal motion of the level regulator. According to the present invention, the level regulator catches in the groove at different heights so that the inside container body can project the outside container body. The height of inside container body can be adjusted to satisfy the users of different heights. The operation is very simple: to adjust the height, just press the manual button of the switch means.

A foot press member is provided on the anchor to facilitate the pressing of the anchor into the ground. The anchoring mechanism is configured to prevent the trash can when empty from blowing around in fairly high winds and helps prevent the tipping of filled trash cans.

Abstract: A temperature-retaining food container includes an outer shell having an inner chamber that can be filled with a temperature storing medium. The shell is shaped to provide an expansion zone within the chamber to permit expansion of the medium. A support is formed to provide additional volume to the chamber and the expansion zone. The support structure can optionally be provided to automatically expand in response to an increase in pressure within the chamber. A lid is provided which covers the container and further operates as a serving platter. The shell of the container can optionally be formed from a plurality of separate portions, which interlock to form the complete serving container and disassemble for storage or use with smaller or crowded appliances.

Abstract: A stable waste receptacle has in the preferred embodiment, at least two foot pedals mounted on opposite sides of the receptacle, at the receptacle's base. Recessed housings are formed in the base and sides to permit the foot pedals to be withdrawn from the housings to stabilize the receptacle during trash bag removal or to be pressed back into the respective housings for telescopically stacking multiple receptacles. Detents are provided to retain the foot pedals releasably in the extended and retracted positions.

Abstract: An ice chest has retractable, telescoping legs extending at respective forward and rearward angles from each respective endwall of the ice chest. The ice chest has handles at the upper central portion of the ice chest endwall having push buttons therein which release the telescoping legs from a locked position and which fall to the open position under their own weight and lock in a secure position. The push buttons actuate the locks by a linkage system. The front legs have pads at their lower ends, protecting the ends of the legs, and providing weight to pull the legs into the open, locked position. The rear legs have wheels which also providing weight to pull the legs into the open, locked position. A similar water cooler has retractable legs which have pads on their lower ends pulling the legs downward upon pushing buttons on handles on the sidewalls.

Abstract: A spill-proof container is constructed of a bowl with an access opening for holding particulate material that is freely rotatable within the chamber of a bowl support having an access opening. The access openings of the bowl and support are aligned when the bowl and support are both in their upright orientation. When the support is tipped, the bowl, which is heavier at its bottom, remains upright. As a result, the chamber access opening rotates out of alignment with the bowl access opening, which is then covered with a part of the chamber wall.

Abstract: A bucket brace holds a bucket in place while the bucket's contents are mixed or stirred. The bucket brace prevents the bucket from spinning due to the mixing. The bucket brace is an assembly made up of four parts: a base, a foot pressure portion, a front support, and a rear support. A handle is provided for carrying the base. The front and rear supports are of semi-circular shape, and are made of rigid or semi-rigid material, as are the base and the foot pressure portion. The foot pressure portion and the base are integral, preferably both parts being formed from the same piece of material. The foot pressure portion and the rear support preferably have surface grip portions. The handle may be made of any suitable material, preferably the same rigid or semi-rigid material as the other parts of the bucket brace.

Abstract: A clothes hamper includes a container having a bottom wall and a peripheral wall that is attached to and extends upwardly from the bottom wall. The peripheral wall has an upper edge defining an opening extending into the container. A plurality of guides is attached to an inner surface of the peripheral wall. Each of the guides is vertically orientated. A panel is positioned in the container. The panel has a top side, a bottom side and a peripheral edge. The panel is mounted on the plurality of guides such that the panel may be selectively moved between the bottom wall and the upper edge. At least one biasing member is mounted in the container for biasing the panel away from the bottom wall. The panel moves downwardly as additional clothes are positioned on the panel and the panel moves upwardly as clothes are removed from the panel.

Abstract: An apparatus and method are disclosed for removably attaching an ISO corner fitting to a composite material shipping container. The apparatus and method of the invention comprises a post that is anchored in the composite material frame of the container. The ISO corner fitting is then attached to the post using a connector assembly that may be engaged and disengaged as needed to attach and detach the ISO corner fitting from the post. The post has a plurality of grooves formed thereon that help hold the post in the composite material of the shipping container. The grooves transfer any tension or compression loads that are applied to the ISO corner fitting directly to the shipping container.

Abstract: An apparatus for bathing infants includes a tub section having a recessed portion for supporting bathing accessories, a drain spout provided with a ball valve for dispensing and retaining water within the tub, a plurality of support members secured to the bottom surface, and a plurality of leg members positioned through the support members for maintaining the tub section at a stable position during operating conditions. Such leg members may be folded and extended and include a female portion and a male portion, which are telescopically engageable with one another. The present invention further includes a portable tray with a lip portion that fits on the outer edge of the tub section. Such a portable tray may be used for supporting bathing accessories.

Abstract: A cooler suitable for indoor and outdoor use is provided. The cooler includes a container having a bottom surface, a first base connectable to the bottom surface of the container and a second base alternatively connectable to the bottom surface of the container. The cooler may include open-ended inner and outer containers nested and spaced so that a gap is created between the outer container and inner container, with foam insulation occupying the gap. The first base supports the cooler at a height suitable for use on a table, while the second base supports the cooler suitable for stand-alone use on the floor or ground. The first base can be nested within and hung from the second base while the cooler is in use or stored.

Abstract: A freight container (1) having a base (2) and a roof (5) wherein fittings (8, 9) for lifting the container and/or stacking a second container on the roof are provided with a support strut (24) moveably mounted on the container such that the support strut can be moved from a load-bearing position in which the support strut transfers a load between the fittings and the base during lifting and stacking and a loading position in which the support strut does not substantially impede loading and unloading of the freight container from a side of the container. The support strut is carried on one side of a gate structure (20) hinged to a corner post (3, 4) of the container by a hinge at the opposite side.

Abstract: The invention is a universal dumpster adapted for use with both conventional front loading and roll-off refuse collection trucks. A universal dumpster according to this invention includes a floor, a pair of side walls, and a pair of end walls. The floor, side walls and end walls together define an interior compartment for collecting and containing solid waste. Sleeves rotatably mounted to the side walls engage the lifting arms of a front loading truck. At least one of the end walls includes a door that is movable between a first fully closed position and a second fully opened position for depositing solid waste into the dumpster and discharging the solid waste from the dumpster. The rotatable sleeves reduce the forces exerted on the lifting arms of the front loading truck. Accordingly, the capacity of the dumpster may be increased.
