Patent number: 8544663Abstract: A new profile of the internal neck that, instead of being simply cylindrical, presents an internal ring in proximity to, and at the height of, the support ledge plain and to which corresponds a specific profile in the area under the support ledge. These profiles allows a ring to be created of different shapes and geometries (SWERVE SHAPE) using the internal material between the support ledge and the area under the support ledge, thereby re-enforcing the neck and avoiding oval formation (creating problems with sealing and loss of content) as well as deformation of the support ledge during the blowing process, without impacting weight reduction. This invention allows for ultra-light containers with good physical-mechanical behavior. A further reduction of the width(s) using present technologies is not permissible due to insufficient radial rigidity. This present invention permits the light-weighting of various types of containers of different prime materials.Type: GrantFiled: December 1, 2009Date of Patent: October 1, 2013Assignee: P.E.T. Publication number: 20100065572Abstract: Known tank flanges have a main filter which has a filter housing with an inlet and an outlet, and a first connecting duct for connecting the main filter to a feed unit. The filter housing is integrated in the tank flange, and filter fabric is inserted into the filter housing and the filter housing is closed off by a filter cover. The inlet of the filter housing is connected to the pressure side of a feed unit and the outlet leads to an internal combustion engine. A disadvantage is that, in order to exchange the filter fabric, the large-area filter cover must be opened, as a result of which a large amount of fuel vapor is dissipated to the atmosphere. In the case of the tank flange according to the invention, the exchangeability of the main filter is simplified by virtue of the main filter being embodied as a filter cartridge. It is provided according to the invention that the inlet of the main filter extends into the first connecting duct of the tank flange and therein forms a sealed connection.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 25, 2007Publication date: March 18, 2010Inventors: Bernd Osswald, Alfred Mueller, Klaus Gebert, Peter Schelhas

Publication number: 20090188932Abstract: A packaging container according to the present invention is molded of a thin synthetic resin sheet. The outer peripheral edge of an opening of the packaging container 1, 18 has an outwardly extended flange 11. The outer peripheral edge 11a of the flange 11 is corrugated in the vertical or horizontal direction. By corrugating the outer peripheral edge 11a of the flange 11, the corrugated outer peripheral edge 11a can give a soft touch to user's hand or finger or a wrapping film contacting the same. As a result, user's hand or finger can be prevented from being hurt and the wrapping film can be prevented from being broken.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 27, 2009Publication date: July 30, 2009Applicant: FP CORPORATIONInventor: Yoshinori Fujii

Patent number: 7462853Abstract: In the metal billet to be used for hot dilation forming, a forward side with respect to the pressing direction has a quadrate section and its diagonal length is not more than an inner diameter of a container. Moreover, a backward side with respect to the pressing direction has a circular section and its diameter is substantially same as the inner diameter of the container. The metal billet is heated to a temperature suitable for press working and is set into a container for press forming. While a center of a workpiece of the metal billet is being bored by a boring punch to be operated by a pressing machine, the metal billet is hot-dilated so that a bottomed container for a cask is formed.Type: GrantFiled: March 26, 2001Date of Patent: December 9, 2008Assignee: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.Inventors: Yoshihiko Funakoshi, Takeshi Tsunezumi, Naohiro Mizuno, Katsuhiko Tokuno, Chikayuki Matsumoto, Yoshiharu Taura, Shigenori Shirogane, Katsunari Ohsono, Toshihiro Matsuoka
