Abstract: A device incorporating both a magnet and a living hinge may be employed to construct cases to protect electronic devices and to function as a closure for cases and lidded containers. Such cases often can be bent three 360° allowing the cases to be either closed protecting devices therein are closed upon themselves allowing the case to function to secure an electronic device to a substrate such as an article of clothing. The devices of the disclosure can also be used to organize and hold loose items together.

Abstract: A foldable container includes a bottom, side walls that can be folded in, a lid, a closure element that can be moved relative to the lid, at least one first closure element mating piece, and at least one second closure element mating piece. The at least one second closure element mating piece is provided on a portion of the side walls that faces the bottom and/or on the bottom in such a way that, in a storage position of the lid, the at least one second closure element mating piece can interact in a form-fitting manner with the closure element in order to lock the lid in the storage position with the side walls folded in.

Abstract: A package including: a case having a bottom and a peripheral rim composed of panels and a lid. The package is collapsible between: a flat configuration, in which the panels and the lid extend substantially parallel to the bottom and a use configuration in which the case defines a storage volume, and in which the lid is movable between a storage volume access position and a storage volume closed position. The package includes a locking mechanism, first mechanism for locking the lid in its closed position, and second mechanism for locking the package in its flat configuration.

The collapsible container is shiftable between a collapsed configuration and an assembled configuration. The container base comprises opposed grooves, each comprising a pivot, wherein one pivot is farther from the interior surface of the base than the opposed pivot. A pair of side panels preferably comprise at least one arm member having an elongated guide formed therein that is rotationally and slidably engaged with respective base pivots to allow the panels to shift between an upright position a horizontal position, in a stacked configuration. The pair of side walls is rotatably coupled to the base, wherein each of the side walls comprises a pair of slots. Each of the top rods comprises a straight portion and a pair of insertions coupled to two ends of the straight portion correspondingly, one of the insertions is insertably coupled to one of the slots of one of the side walls, another one of the insertions is insertably coupled to one of the slots of another one of the side walls. A method for utilizing the aforementioned collapsible organizer is also disclosed, comprising: rotating the pair of the side walls; and inserting the pair of top rods to the slots of the pair of side walls.

Abstract: A modular container has identically molded sides pieces connected together at corner joints and separately molded, identical top/bottom pieces. The corner joints are formed by snap fit engagement of flexible locking tabs of one side piece with pockets on another side piece when the molded side pieces are serially connected together. The flexible locking tabs are biased oppositely to one another in alternating manner and each tab engages with a shoulder in the corresponding pocket to enable a zipper effect with respect to the assembly and disassembly of the corner joints. Two top/bottom pieces are secured by relative rotation to the assembled side pieces to form the container. An extension ring or divider can be used between upper and lower sets of the assembled side pieces to enable different container sizes. The component parts are molded with a degree of flexibility that enhances the assembly/disassembly of the corner joints.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a molded laminated structure having negative draft angles and methods of manufacturing a molded laminated structure having negative draft angles. A preliminary structure having a first outer layer and a second outer layer is molded with a bend that divides the preliminary structure into two sections with an angle between the two sections of less than 180-degrees. Portions that extends from the sections are at positive draft angles. A groove is formed in the preliminary structure at the bend but not formed in a constant cross-section of the second outer layer. The preliminary structure is folding along the bend to at least partially close the groove and form a molded laminated structure with portions that extend at a negative draft configuration while retaining the second outer layer continuous throughout the molded laminated structure.

Abstract: A razor wire barrier is disclosed. In some embodiments, the razor wire barrier includes a frame including a floor and a plurality of walls defining an interior area. The razor wire barrier may further include a first section of razor wire within the interior area, and a component receptacle extending along the floor, adjacent the first section of razor wire. The component receptacle is operable to receive a component of a machine for moving the frame. In some embodiments, the component receptacle is a hollow member operable to receive a forklift prong. In some embodiments, the razor wire barrier may further include a second section of razor extending along the plurality of walls. In some embodiments, the first section of razor wire includes one or more coils of concertina razor wire, and the second section of razor wire includes one or more panels of razor wire.

Abstract: A modular cargo storage system (CSS) is described for use on a base platform of a modular autonomous bot apparatus that transports an item being shipped. The modular CSS includes a set of folding structural walls, an interlocking alignment interface on at least one of the walls, and a modular component power and data transport bus. The walls at least partially enclose a payload area above the base platform. The interlocking alignment interface has a set of latches and a locking handle coupled to the set of latches that actuates the latches to interlock with the base platform. The power and data transport bus have top and bottom side modular component electronics interfaces where each interface has a power conduit outlet and a command and data communication interface.

Abstract: A portable fuel container includes a fuel reservoir and an access port therefor, and an elongate flame mitigation device in the fuel reservoir behind the access port. The flame mitigation device includes an open mouth sealed around the access port, a closed bottom opposing the mouth, and an intermediate tubular sidewall. In addition, the flame mitigation device has a woven construction. In relation to the woven construction, the flame mitigation device includes inelastically resiliently flexible interwoven warps and wefts. Moreover, the flame mitigation device interstitially defines quenching openings between the warps and the wefts configured to allow liquid fuel therethrough, but prevent air-fuel mixtures ignited as flames from propagating therethrough. Moreover, the flame mitigation device is elastically flexible to hold its shape, but elastically flex under manual manipulation.

Latching mechanisms are used to selectively secure the panels where in the unfolded position. The latching mechanisms are also used to selectively disengage the panels to allow them to move to the folded position. The latching mechanism may be installed in recesses or side openings of the left and right side panels and slidably secured by clips above and below the recesses.

The fork pocket distance defined between the pair of fork tunnel assemblies is configurable between a first fork pocket distance and a second fork pocket distance.

Abstract: A foldable container features a base and four lateral walls, with the lateral walls featuring trailing edges with latching elements and one or more ridges that extend from the trailing edge on the internal surface and/or close to the external surface and on lateral edges of the side wall. During stacking, the ridges mesh either between the latching elements and/or between two additional ridges so that stacked containers cannot shift in longitudinal direction. The trailing edges are designed in a step like shape and feature a protruding edge, by means of which a shifting in diagonal direction is also prevented. According to the invention, the containers are deformed less during transport and are easier to fold together. The invention facilitates stacking and folding by robots.

The upright sidewall and base include surfaces to inhibit or prevent buckling due to compressive loads. The bin can also include post and pocket interlock structures.

Abstract: A stackable bulk bin container having shock absorbing elements is provided. The bulk bin container includes a base portion and four collapsible sidewalls. The base includes feet extending downward. The feet are connected by stringers forming four corner portions. Shock absorbing elements are positioned proximate the corner portions in the base of the container. The shock absorbing elements absorb energy from impacts when the container is stacked on like containers.
