The lid-spout assembly includes at least a spout having a pouring outlet, a lid configured to selectively close and open the pouring outlet and being controllable between at least a closed position and an open position, a tethering element tethering the lid to the spout, a retaining group configured to interact with the tethering element and/or the lid for retaining the lid in the open position. The retaining group includes at least a support portion being configured to be positioned within the main body and an interaction portion being configured to interact with the tethering element and/or the lid for retaining the lid in the open position and connected to the support portion and being configured to extend away from the main body.

Abstract: A cooking assembly can include a cooking vessel, a mixer, and a motor. The cooking vessel can include a bottom contact portion including a first bore therethrough, a heating portion spaced above the bottom contact portion and including a second bore therethrough, and a sidewall connected to the heating portion and together with the heating portion configured to retain food in the cooking vessel. The mixer can be located within the cooking vessel, where the mixer configured to rotate relative to the heating portion. The motor can be connected to the mixer via the first bore and the second bore to drive the mixer to rotate.

Abstract: A storage container includes a jar and a cap removably connected to the jar. The jar has a cavity defined by a first base and a first wall extending upwardly from the base. The cap has an upper portion connected to a lower portion by a connecting member. The upper portion has a second base and a second wall extending upwardly from the second base to define a receiving area that receives an item stored in the cavity of the jar. The connecting member has an opening therethrough to connect the storage container to a support.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a protective cap (20) for a grease nipple. The protective cap comprises a removable cap portion (22) with an internal cavity (23) that is shaped to fit over and enclose a nipple head of the grease nipple, and comprises an attachment portion (24) that is adapted to remain attached to the grease nipple when the cap portion is removed. Abstract: A strap receivable water kettle cap includes a cap coupleable to a water kettle. The cap has a side wall forming an elongate slot and a bottom to which a rotary ring is mounted. The rotary ring has an upper portion forming a diameter reduced vertical wall. The vertical wall and the side wall of the cap form therebetween a receiving space for receiving strap in a winding fashion. The vertical wall forms an extension and retention section, and the strap extends through and is retained by the extension and retention section. The strap further extends through the slot of the side wall of the cap to have end extension sections of the strap projecting outside the cap. The tips of the end extension sections of the strap are processed to form a closed terminal. The strap can be selectively retracted back into the receiving space inside the cap.

The tray has inner and outer walls between which a lid from the cooker may be interposed. The lid is supported in the tray above a well for drips on fins between the inner and outer walls.

The utensil includes a body, a first support assembly operable and effective for supporting the body in a vertically upright position during use, and a second support assembly operable and effective for supporting the cover of a cooking vessel in a desired orientation relative to the cooking vessel.

The flexible line includes a swivel component and connecting component secured to the unencumbered end of the flexible line. Abstract: A cooking vessel having a handle for supporting a lid is described. The handle may include an upper support member having an upper arcuate body coupled to the cooking vessel at opposite ends and a lower support member having a lower arcuate body coupled to the cooking vessel at opposite ends. The lower arcuate body and the upper arcuate body may define a receiving space for receiving the cooking vessel lid. The upper support member and the lower support member may have sheet like portions. The support members may further be dimensioned to support the lid within the receiving space at an angle from a side of the cooking vessel of between 45 degrees and 90 degrees.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a beverage bottle with a container cap. In particular the beverage bottle has a reversible means for holding the container cap on the outside of the container during use of the bottle which prevents loss of the cap.

Abstract: The claimed invention is a novel container system that adds utility and convenience for the consumer “on-the-go”. The container system claimed includes a main tray member that holds food product (e.g. carrots), and lid member that is configured so that, when it is inverted, it acts as a secondary tray member that holds food product (e.g. condiment) and is further attachable to the rim of the tray member via an interference fit or snap-fit grip fit. The resulting utility is that the consumer is able to hold the main tray member with one hand or have held the main tray member (e.g. in a recess in an automobile consol) and access the contents of both trays with a free hand.

Abstract: A recipient has a body designed to contain a fluid and an orifice by which the fluid may be introduced into the body. The recipient is equipped with a system for the sterile transfer of the fluid from inside the body. Abstract: An embodiment of the invention provides an apparatus that is configured to secure a stopper to a beverage container or other container. The apparatus could be used, for instance, after a person has removed a cork or other stopper from the mouth of a bottle. Such an apparatus reduces the chance that the stopper will be lost. A portion of the apparatus may also be configured to absorb drips that could result from pouring a beverage or other liquid from the container. The apparatus may also display a message and/or provide other decorative features. Other embodiments of the invention provide a method for manufacturing the apparatus.

Abstract: Resealable caps and tops for directional pour spout containers currently available for liquid and semi-solid products are either a spout and cap design, in which the tip is cut off to pour or squeeze out the container contents, or a non-spout, hinged top-and-bottom design, which defines a flat surface with an opening. These designs have many limitations. For example, the closure portion of a conventional spout closure can become detached, leading to production line delays, lost tips in transit, product recall at the store level, loss of shelf life and potential chocking hazards to children and pets. The non-spout hinged, top-and-bottom design does not offer the directional dispensing capabilities. This invention addresses the shortcomings of conventional caps and tops by providing a one-piece directional pour spout container cap in which the base has an upwardly directed spout and a hinged flip top cap is attached to the spout.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a holder for a bottle stopper comprising of a strip of material that is compressible and elastic. The holder for the bottle stopper may be attached to the neck of a bottle by sliding individual beads along the compressible material.

Abstract: A biased Bar-B-Q lid support assembly including a mounting bracket, an assembly securing device and a support shaft having a first end and a second end. The support shaft may be locked in position by means of a biasing lever. The first end may be used to support a lid and the second end may have a handle or tab for adjusting the support shaft.

Abstract: A roaster oven for the heating of foodstuffs includes an outer housing with an opening and a heating element disposed proximate an interior surface for heating thereof. A lid, removably positioned on the outer housing to at least partially cover the opening, has a stationary portion and a hinged portion pivotably mounted thereto. The hinged portion is pivotable with respect to the stationary portion about at least one hinge. The hinged portion has an open position in which at least a portion of the interior surface is accessible and a closed position in which the lid substantially covers the opening.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a base member formed from wire strands conjoined to each other, defining outwardly flanging sides and a bottom surface. One wire has a unitary body provided with ends disposed along sides of the base, support pegs monolithically formed therewith, and lip portions spaced along a longitudinal length of the base member. The wire further has an annular portion monolithically formed with the lip portions, extending upwardly from the base member and traveling inwardly towards a center thereof. Another wire has opposed ends conjoined to the annular portion and one of the base member sides. A tray is seated on the base member and includes a bottom surface and monolithically formed edges. The tray is positioned beneath the annular portion for catching fluids and debris. Rubber caps are positioned about the support pegs for increasing surface area friction and assisting to maintain the apparatus at a stable position.

Abstract: A roaster oven for the heating of foodstuffs includes an outer housing with an opening and a heating element disposed proximate an interior surface for heating thereof. A lid, removably positioned on the outer housing to at least partially cover the opening, has a stationary portion and a hinged portion pivotably mounted thereto. The hinged portion is pivotable with respect to the stationary portion about at least one hinge. The hinged portion has an open position in which at least a portion of the interior surface is accessible and a closed position in which the lid substantially covers the opening.

Abstract: Lid holder stands hold pot and pan lids. A cylindrical base has two lid slots, a lid holder slot, and a spoon slot in the top of its sidewall. A base screw hole is present in the portion of the sidewall forming the lid holder slot. A screw is passed through a lid holder screw hole in one end of an arctuate lid holder and inserted into the base screw hole to removably attach one end of the lid holder to the base within the lid holder slot. A lid can have its sidewall removably inserted into the lid slots 24 and the middle of its underside supported by the opposing end of the lid holder, and a spoon can have its handle rested in the spoon slot. The base and lid holder are made of dishwasher safe PVC.

Abstract: A covered food container or serving platter incorporates a cover stand as part of the structure of the container. The cover may be temporarily stored on the stand while the user obtains access to the container. In one embodiment a portion of the cover is received within a suitably configured retention area formed within the container. Another covered serving container utilizes a central support extending from the platter and a corresponding support that extends from the cover, with an interlocking possible at the maximum extension of each support, thus separating the cover from the platter. A further embodiment utilizes a pair of covers, one receivable upon another to enable a nesting storage with access available to the exposed container storage area. A surface rib and groove formed in corresponding surfaces of the two covers provides stability when in the nested configuration.

Abstract: A lid support assembly for a trash bin lid rod has a plurality of rod supports engaging the lid rod and secured to the rear wall of the bin to resist bending of the lid rod. An elongate lid prop has an opening for engaging over the lid rod with a first portion of the lid prop extending away from the opening in a first direction to provide a support for the trash bin lid in a partially open position, and a second portion extending in a second direction away from the first direction to engage the rear wall of the trash bin. Rod supports are positioned on opposite sides of the lid prop to secure the lid prop in the desired position on the lid rod.

Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, a continuous length of wire is shaped to include a pair of interlocking hooks, one each located at the end of a holding prong, and disposed outward. The prong extension traverses the inner side of a pan lid, and is of such a length as to allow the interlocking hooks at one end to protrude under any pan lid lip. The prong extension terminates at the bottom in a retaining hook and a catch notch. The catch notches are connected via a horizontal extension.

Abstract: A prop for propping the lid of a trash bin in a partially open position includes a frame having an elongated slot. The prop is mounted on a trash bin by inserting the lid hinge rod of the bin through the slot. When mounted on a trash bin, the prop can be moved in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the lid hinge rod, the rod sliding laterally in the slot. The prop can thus be moved between a position in which it supports the lid in a partially open position and a position in which the lid can be swung fully open. When the prop is in the former position, two arms, one or both of which may be integral to the frame, extend generally perpendicularly away from the axis of the hinge rod. In this position, one arm contacts the rear wall of the bin and the other contacts the lid of the bin. When the prop is moved to the other position, one of the arms disengages the portion of the bin with which it was it contact. The lid can then be freely swung to any position.

The cart (50) includes two parallel side support structures (52), each including a horizontal upper side member (53) and a pair of vertical posts (56,57), with the side support structures being connected to each other near their bottoms by a pair of substantially parallel lower transverse cross-members (66) and adjacent their tops by a pair of substantially parallel upper transverse cross members (66a). A pair of lower horizontal side support members (54) connects at each end to one of the lower cross-members ( 66).
