Abstract: A venting system (10) in an aircraft (12), where the aircraft (12) is substantially symmetrical about a midline (14), has a pair of wings (16 and 18) extending outwardly on respective sides of the midline (14), a center fuel tank (20), a surge tank (22 and 24) at outer ends of each wing (16 and 18), and optionally one or more wing fuel tanks (26 and 28) interposed between the center fuel tank (20) and the respective surge tank (22 or 24). The venting system (10) for the center fuel tank (20) includes a main vent line (30) that extends across the midline (14) to vent openings (32 and 34) communicating with respective surge tanks (22 and 24). The main vent line (30) forms a linear flow path for fluid, generally air, flowing between opposite ends of the vent line (30). The venting system (10) also includes a branch vent line (36 and 38) extending from the main vent line (30) and opening on the center fuel tank (20). The branch line has at least one fuel tank opening (40 and 42) on each side of the midline (14).

Abstract: A heat transfer oil boiler system to minimize heat loss and prevent heat transfer oil from deterioration due to temperature fluctuations includes a high-level tank disposed with a vent, a transfer oil buffer, and an oil-gas separator; the heat transfer buffer includes one or more oil storage unit containing a chamber within; the heat transfer buffer is disposed between the high-level tank and the oil-gas separator; an oil inlet pipe and an oil outlet pipe for directing oil to and from the oil storage unit, respectively, is disposed in the upper and the lower chamber.
Abstract: A liquid filtration device that efficiently filters a filter element and vents pressurized vapors from inside the filter element. The liquid filtration device is comprised of a vent valve apparatus that is furnished within the main body of the filter head and a plug which is located on the filter housing. The main body has a first opening that is located on the outside of the filter housing, a second opening that communicates with the inside of the filter element, an opening that communicates with the second opening and the first opening and a third opening. The third opening permits communication between the filter element and the filter housing as well as between space and the passage found within the third opening. The plug is installed within this passage, and can move between a first position that does not vent pressurized vapors that are within the housing and a second position that vents pressurized vapors that are within the housing.
Abstract: A handle for a cooking utensil (1) with a lid (2), of the type including a fixed part (6) rigidly fixed to the lateral wall (17) of the utensil. To the fixed part (6) there is connected a part (8) movable between at least a closed position (C) in which a first portion (8D) of said movable part (8) is in contact with the lid (2) and a second portion (8B) of said movable part (8) is in contact with a first portion (6B) of the fixed part (6) such that on gripping the handle the lid remains fixed to the utensil, and an open position (A) in which the first portion does not interfere with the lid. The lid comprises a plurality of holes in at least one (P) of its parts.
