Abstract: Carrying aids may be used with containers that include a wire bail pivotably attached to the container. The carrying aids may include a body configured to engage the bail and be grasped by a grasping hand to suspend the container in a first position. The body may be configured to transfer a torque from a grasping hand to the bail. The torque may pivot the bail relative to the container while lifting the container relative to a grasping hand from the first position to a second position above the first position. In some examples, the bail, with the body mounted thereon, may be pivoted down proximate the sidewall of the container such that the body engages a thumb of a grasping hand and presses the hand against the sidewall to stabilize and support the container relative to the grasping hand.

Abstract: The invention is an ergonomic detachable handle having a grip portion terminating at one end in a contoured band for carrying a paint container and associated brush. The contoured band has a cantilevered support portion with an upstanding peripheral edge for receiving the lip of a container. A spring biased retainer clip is mounted to the cantilevered support portion so that the slidable movement of the spring biased retainer clip traps the lip of the container between the upstanding peripheral edge of the cantilevered support portion and the spring biased retainer clip to securely hold the container to the grip portion of the handle. A shell housing dependent from the cantilevered support portion houses a permanent magnet in contact with the wall of the container to hold a painter's brush magnetically against the magnet on the inside of the container.

The sections that form handles are formed in the lid element (16) rather than in the base element (14), so a person does not have to contend with long bouncing sections if the person eats a meal out of the base. One of the elements has vertically undercut grooves (50) and the other element has horizontal projections (52) that slide into and along the grooves. Each of the opposing sidewalls comprises a plurality of peanut or kidney shaped receptacles, and in an alternative embodiment, a plurality of slot shaped receptacles. The receptacles allow for ease of rotational movement of the bail arms between any of at least three positions. The three positions for the bail arms provide three stacking configuration for a second, upper container, in regard to a first, lower container: a nearly fully nested configuration; a partially nested configuration; and a substantially un-nested configuration. The opposing sidewalls also comprise a sidewall interlock system, as well as a container stacking structure. The bails arms are completely contained within the area of the container, and mate with grooves in the base of the container.

When in place, the bail grip body does not completely close off a recess formed by the hook. Abstract: A plastic container for a particulate product such as coffee includes a base and a surrounding wall member upstanding therefrom. A top connects to the surrounding wall member and in a preferred embodiment includes a large opening sufficient to receive about a 5 inch cylinder therethrough. The surrounding wall member has a handle. In one embodiment, the handle includes a longitudinal pocket formed in the surrounding wall member adjacent the top. The longitudinal pocket extends parallel to the top and has a depth and shape for receipt of fingers of a user. Preferably, the surrounding wall member also includes a thumb receiving concavity above the pocket. For added strength, the pocket can include a central vertical brace. In another embodiment, the handle includes a pass-though opening in which the fingers of the user pass so as to substantially surround the handle.

Each strap is generally made of flexible and resiliently stretchable material so as to snugly engage the water bottle in tension. Indicia or the like may be etched, written or engraved on the strap which may provide alternative grasping means by finger depressions separated by ridges defined along the outside of the handle.

In addition, there are interior indicia 32 and indicia lines 38 used to guide the user in the proper use of the recycling container.
