Abstract: A drink bottle with a removable lid includes an inner lid attached to the mouth of the bottle and an outer lid or cover pivotably mounted on said inner lid. A drink spout extends from the inner lid. The outer lid or cover may be locked into a closed position covering the drink spout. A push button release is activated to unlock the outer lid and permit the outer lid to pivot to a position exposing the drink spout for access by a user. The outer lid may be snapped of the inner lid by moving the outer lid beyond an open position. A bail handle on the outer lid is retained in a stowed position in a recess in the outer lid or is moved to a deployed position. The bail handle disconnects from the outer lid when moved beyond the deployed position. The push button for releasing the closed outer lid is enclosed within a tunnel in the inner lid.

  • Patent number: 7780036
Abstract: A handbasket includes a container and a handle. The container includes an upper rim, a pair of opposed side panels, and a pair of opposed end panels, with each side panel including a generally concave exterior surface. The handle extends between, and is pivotally mounted relative to, the respective opposed end panels of the container. The handle is movable between a first generally vertically upright position relative to the container and a second position. In the second position, a first portion of the handle rests against the upper rim of the container and a second portion of the handle is spaced from the upper rim adjacent the generally concave exterior surface of one of the respective side panels to define a grasping zone for grasping the handle for movement between the first position and the second position of the handle relative to the container.

  • Patent number: 5947319
Abstract: The use of structure to engage the wire handle of a paint can to generate downward pressure between a paint can lid and the paint can. Seating in three positions are disclosed. These positions being within the seating channel of the paint can, in the opening of the paint can radially extending around the perimeter of the opening of the paint can and radially extending around the outer perimeter of the paint can top. Plural positions, having differing elevational placements, on the handle engagement member are explained. Alignment means are provided to ensured proper positioning during attachment to the paint can. One mode provides for temporary usage as a pouring lid during a painting procedure. A second mode provides for continuous usage, during the life of the paint, by ensuring complete sealing against air passage. Reusability of the paint can lid is provided by composition and construction.
