Abstract: A two-way-openable printer includes a hinge portion for connecting an upper unit and a lower unit, provided at the rear of the printer, and a paper ejection opening of the printer at the front. The hinge portion has a lower hinge bracket connected to the lower unit, an upper hinge bracket connected to the lower hinge bracket with a pivot pin and pivotable about the pivot pin, and a bracket cover for the upper hinge bracket. The upper unit has a portion which allows the upper unit to pivot about the bracket cover. The upper unit has a first opening mode in which it is opened at the front ejection opening side, and a second opening mode in which it is fully opened by pivoting at the hinge portion so that a first side surface of the upper unit faces downward and an opposite side surface faces upward.

Abstract: An adjustable seal that is kinematically linked to a container to provide a complete seal of the container opening and to allow easy access to contents therein. The seal includes a lid portion and a sealing means, as well as a lever and a yoke, which are kinematically linked together via a plurality of pivot points. The seal also comprises a spring system having a springfront, a spring rear, and a spring, and the spring system is likewise mechanically connected to the other components. Due to this kinematic linkage, the closure is moveable among different positions to provide various degrees of access to and from the container via the container opening. As a result, the sealing system of the present invention protects against spillage and splash by completely sealing the container opening, as well as provides easy access to the contents of the container.

Abstract: There is disclosed a portable gum container, comprising a body. The body has a chewing gum holder, a sheet material dispenser, and a waste receptacle. The chewing gum holder is for holding chewing gum. The sheet material dispenser is for dispensing sheet material sized and shaped for wrapping about a piece of spent chewing gum. The waste receptacle is sized and shaped to contain the wrapped spent piece of chewing gum. Also disclosed is a portable gum container, comprising a body having a chewing gum holder, a waste receptacle and at least one piece of sheet material associated with the body for wrapping about a piece of spent chewing gum.

Abstract: A memorabilia container includes a receptacle for the memorabilia. The receptacle has opposite, upstanding side walls and an upstanding rear wall joining the side walls. The side walls and the rear wall have respective upper edges. A side lid is hingedly connected to each side wall. The side lid hinges are attached to the side walls such that the side walls do not open beyond a predetermined angle. Each side lid has an interior surface, an exterior surface, and an outer edge. The side lids close together with their outer edges abutting. A rear lid is hingedly connected to the rear wall. The rear wall hinge is attached to the rear wall such that the rear wall does not open beyond a predetermined angle. The rear lid has an interior surface and an exterior surface. The rear lid closes first, and the side lids close together over the rear lid. Photograph retainers are mounted on interior surfaces of the side lids and the rear lid.

Abstract: A protective case with a combination hinge and swivel connector for the lid. The lid opens in clamshell fashion and then swivels around and folds down over the back of the case so that the back of the shell nests in the lid. The lid, when folded back in this manner, provides a comfortable surface for holding the open case in the hand.

Abstract: A dispenser of washing agents for a household washing machine, in particular a dish-washer, comprises a body (2), at least one compartment (6) for containing a washing agent, and a lid (7), which may be tipped over or turned about a first axis of rotation (8) between a position of closing and a respective first position of at least partial opening of the compartment (6), so as to enable delivery of the washing agent. According to the invention, there are envisaged articulation means (4), which are interconnected between the body (2) and the lid (7) and are operative for enabling the latter to turn about a second axis of rotation (5) between said closing position and a respective second position of at least partial opening of the compartment (6) so as to enable charging in the latter of the washing agent to be delivered.

The box is adapted to receive the mask diagonally and it is closed by two doors hinged about respective hinge axes situated on two adjacent edges of the box.

Abstract: A truck bed toolbox is provided including a housing having an open top, and a pair of cover assemblies mounted on the housing for covering the open top of the housing. Each cover assembly includes a frame and a cover. The frame is mounted on the housing adjacent to the open top. The frame includes a pair of elongated sides and a pair of elongated ends, with a first one of the sides of the frame being pivotally mounted on the housing. One of the end edges of the cover is pivotally mounted on an inboard one of the ends of one of the frames. The covers of the cover assemblies are each pivotable about a first axis and a second axis, the first axis being oriented substantially perpendicular to the second axis.

Abstract: A saddlebag includes a body and a lid pivotally attached to the body by a hinge assembly. The lid moves in a substantially translational manner to disengage and engage the body, and moves in a pivotal manner when not engaging the body. The saddlebag also includes a locking assembly selectively securing the lid in a closed position and being operable via a push-button located on an outer surface of the saddlebag body. A gas spring is interconnected between the body and the lid of the saddlebag, biasing the lid toward the open position such that depressing the push button releases the lid, allowing the gas spring to expand and fully open the saddlebag with no further intervention by the operator.

Abstract: A dispenser for small objects, such as candy, pills, tablets, and other objects of similar size. The dispenser includes a housing having a bottom, a front wall, a rear wall and two opposing side walls. The housing defines an interior volume and an aperture providing access to the interior volume. A cover is movably attached to the housing and has a closed position for securing objects within the interior volume and at least one opened position for displaying and/or dispensing the objects from the interior volume. Two flanges depend from the cover.
