Abstract: Presented is a method for making a flexible container. The method implements an injection mold having a collapsible core that expands/moves to define the apertures and, in some embodiments, holds a flexible film in place during the injection mold process and collapses/moves back post-injection molding to allow for the flexible container to be readily removed from the die. In addition, the method described includes a post-injection molding anneal process that is implemented to allow the flexible film to shrink so as to provide for the form-fitting of the film to the molded portion of the container.

Abstract: A method of forming a self-sealing fuel tank includes: providing a container including internal surfaces and external surfaces and configured to hold a fuel; forming a latex coating layer over at least a portion of the internal surfaces and/or external surfaces; depositing or encapsulating an environmental layer over at least a portion of the latex coating layer; where the latex coating layer swells when contacted with the fuel; and where the latex coating layer is formed from a latex coating composition that is substantially free of a non-ionic associative thickener.

Abstract: Trash container assembly has interior container wall structure with upper edge structure, a bottom, and an upper opening and interior and exterior surfaces. The assembly has an exterior container with front, rear and side walls connected to a collapsible bottom, with the side walls connected to the front and rear walls so that the walls fold inwardly with the side walls positioned between the front and rear walls, and the bottom collapsed within the walls. In the open position the exterior container walls upper opening receives the interior container. When interior container is inserted with the exterior container, a retention member associated with the exterior container wall structure engages the interior container to resist it moving away from the exterior container. Structural supports are between side walls layers with a fold line located in between, and between front and rear wall layers, and above the bottom.

Abstract: A collapsible portable tank for storing liquids has a liquid impervious liner. The side walls of the liner are supported by a collapsible frame. A plurality of hand grips in a zigzag pattern on the floor panel of the liner facilitates manipulation of the liner to collapse the liner with the frame. The liner floor panel is of heavier material than the side walls and is heat sealed along its entire perimeter to the liner side walls, affording a more durable floor while eliminating clumsy excess liner material at the corners of the tank. Another hand grip on the floor panel opposite a drain in the liner side walls facilitates evacuation of stored liquid from the tank prior to collapsing the tank.

Abstract: According to the invention, a golf bag is disclosed. The golf bag may include a frame and a removable cover. The frame may include a top member at a top most portion of the frame, and a bottom member at a bottom most portion of the frame. The removable cover may include a central portion, a first coupling member, and a second coupling member. The first coupling member may be coupled with at least a portion of a top of the central portion. The second coupling member may be coupled with at least a portion of a bottom of the central portion. The first coupling member may be reversibly coupled with a top most portion of the top member. The second coupling member may be reversibly coupled with a bottom most portion of the bottom member.

Abstract: An improved method to produce artificial light for plant cultivation, an illumination device with a semiconductor light emission solution and device suited for plant cultivation in a greenhouse and/or dark growth chamber environment are described. The best mode is considered to be a lighting device with LEDs that produces an emission spectrum similar to the photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) spectrum in a dark growth chamber. The methods and arrangements allow more precise spectral tuning of the emission spectrum for lights used in plant (310, 311) cultivation. Therefore unexpected improvements in the photomorphogenetic control of plant growth, and further improvements in plant production, especially in dark growth chambers, such as basements, are realized.

Abstract: A pallet container for storing and transporting liquid filling materials includes an plastics inner container and a supporting casing which closely encloses the plastics inner container and is made of a tubular lattice frame which is fastened to an upper outer rim of the pallet. The pallet has a flat pallet top deck for supporting the inner container, and a pallet substructure having four corner feet and four middle feet arranged there between, and a horizontally peripheral bottom ring. The pallet top deck is made of a flat, planar rectangular metal plate which has on each outer side a short downward-facing folded edge extending along the outer sides. The folded edge is pressed by the tubular lattice frame against the corner and middle feet into a folded-edge conforming recess and is fixed such that the metal plate is spanned at its four outer sides linearly on the pallet substructure.

Abstract: A method includes placing at least one mold along outer edges of one or more first pieces of fabric. The method also includes forming free-standing flexible walls and a floor of a containment structure by depositing liquid-impervious material onto the at least one mold and the one or more first pieces of fabric. The floor is formed seamlessly with the walls. The method further includes forming flexible supports by depositing liquid-impervious material onto multiple second pieces of fabric connecting the floor and the flexible walls.

Abstract: A portable spill containment system that includes at least one grate that supports a container. The grate includes a plurality of drain holes. The portable spill containment system also includes a flexible bag that contains leakage from the container that passes through the drain holes of the grate. The portable spill containment system also includes a plurality of pedestals that support the at least one grate.

Abstract: A self-supporting bladder that can be installed into existing storage tanks, particularly into underground storage tanks and a method of forming a double walled tank using the same. This self-supporting bladder serves as the inner wall, utilizing the existing tank as the outer wall of a double wall system, or can provide a double wall system such as through the use of an insert placed in the bladder.

The system comprises a plurality of adapting elongate members which are vertically mountable between the trays. Each elongate member has a longitudinal axis; each elongate member has a first terminal and a second terminal. The first terminal has a taper head provided with at least two off-axis pins are oppositely disposed relative to the axis. The second terminal has at least one recess within a wall of the second terminal. Each tray of each type has a first side and a second side. Each tray is provided with matching sites such that the matching sites located on the first side are configured for receiving the heads of the first terminals and the matching sites located on the second side are configured for receiving the recess of the second terminals.

Abstract: An apparatus for containing sports equipment includes: a wall defining an enclosure and a closeable opening in the enclosure, the wall being see-through at the closeable opening; and divider members configurable to an expanded configuration defining compartments within the enclosure and configurable to a substantially planar collapsed configuration, each compartment being dimensioned for receiving sports equipment, the divider members being removably insertable into the enclosure when in the expanded configuration and in the collapsed configuration. The sports equipment includes soccer balls or other types of balls, marker cones, a first aid kit, cooler for ice and pinnies. A lower section of the apparatus has a see-through front cover and a drain. An upper section may be watertight. The apparatus may include a rigid cylindrical compartment for containing marker cones. A kit may include the apparatus and sports equipment contained within the apparatus.

Abstract: We provide a method and apparatus for creation of temporary storage solutions. These may include, for example, one or more collapsible storage containers. These containers may be moved, optionally with many containers on a single transport unit, to a site in need of storage. The containers may be assembled on-site on an as-needed basis. Following assembly and use of the containers they may be disassembled and moved, optionally by single transport unit, to a new location in need of temporary water storage. Although not limited by the type of material that is stored, typical containers may store, for example, sand, water, gravel, carbon dust, or other solid or liquid substances.

Abstract: A system including transportable all-terrain berm for receiving and retaining fluid. The berm includes flexible impervious sheeting generally formed of a coated fabric. The sheeting is shaped to include a floor area surrounded with opposed end and side wall sections forming a containment area. The end and side walls include adjacent their outer edges spaced retaining and support members. The berm includes a plurality of A-frame braces arranged in vertical positions about the flooring for supporting the end and side wall sections. Stabilizer members are engaged with the upper ends of adjacent braces. The retaining and support members are engaged with the brace members and the stabilizer members holding the end and side walls in generally elevated positions and in engagement with the braces forming the containment area. A bladder for containing and dispensing fluid may be located in the containment area, in which case the berm protects against bladder spillage while providing structural support.

The storage box comprises: a container portion capable of holding a liquid; a holding area substantially within the container portion and for placing the at least one of a dental prosthesis and a dental appliance; a cover for placing over the container portion; and an external covering material substantially covering the container portion and the cover. In another embodiment, a separator divides the holding area in two or more parts. In another embodiment, the cover comprises a groove in which a seal can be lodged to hermetically seal the opening upon closure of the cover. The cover may also have a lip to hold liquid in the cover until the cover is sufficiently closed to release the liquid into the container.

Each respective stay is a respective closed ring after the stay is threaded through and retained within at least one respective wing aperture in at least one floor stay securement tape and at least one wing aperture in at least one sidewall stay securement tape and through at least one wing loop aperture in a sidewall top edge stay securement tape and closed by a closure means. The invention allows easy removal and replacement of any damaged stays.

The mobile storage unit includes a rigid exo-skeletal frame and a flexible storage bag that couples to the rigid exo-skeletal frame while within an open storage region framed by the exo-skeletal frame. The mobile storage unit also includes a top seat portion and stabilizing features that extend and retract from the rigid exo-skeletal frame to support the mobile storage unit in the upright position. The mobile storage unit can also include a monitoring device for transmitting signals that are used to determine the location of the mobile storage unit.

Abstract: The invention provides a modular and foldable recycling apparatus for home use. The apparatus contains multiple modules attached in series, which can be separated into individual modules. Each module is made of a foldable frame to hold a container, such as a bag, for the containment, separation and transport of recyclable materials. The apparatus can be folded like an accordion to allow for convenient storage.

Abstract: A concrete washout bag system is disclosed that is easy to transport and to assemble at a construction site and includes a frame and a foldable washout bag which is assembled onto the frame by means of unitarily formed sleeves, and is manufactured from a strong, water-proof material that allows it to be hoisted for carrying away heavy loads without tearing and includes a drawstring closure for retaining of washout materials during the hoisting, removal process.

Side walls and/or corners of the receptacle may comprise resilient expansion means allowing for beneficial lateral displacement. The resilient expansion means may be selected from a variety of structures including, at least one pleat, an accordion configuration, at least one slit, at least one aperture, an expandable material, an expandable material covering at least one aperture, flexible cords, and all legal equivalents thereof. The receptacle of the present invention may further comprise a pressure release means to eliminate a vacuum seal from forming between the receptacle and an optional replaceable liner therein. The receptacle of the present invention may still further comprise a stabilization means for providing a necessary stabilizing force against the receptacle during liner removal.

Abstract: A collapsible container defined by a continuous rigid structure and an integrated internal truss system. The continuous rigid structure is preferably four-sided such that it defines four continuous surfaces of a cube. The continuous rigid structure is collapsible due to at least one scoring line defined on at least one surface thereof. The internal truss system includes at least one inelastic member that is threaded through the surfaces of the continuous rigid structure to form a symmetrical and unitary support. A liner may be integrally affixed to each of the four sides and additionally provides a fifth side that forms the bottom of the container. A protective cover may be secured to the exterior of the continuous rigid structure for protecting the contained materials against the elements. The cover can be selectively sealed for rendering the container of the present invention substantially impervious to the elements.

Still further, the present invention provides a method of using the portable waste containment device of the present invention.

The partially rigid and partially fabric assembly also includes a sewing material sewn through the fabric connector portion of the plastic connector structure and the fabric material.

Abstract: A golf club head cover comprises an enclosure formed by a pair of complementary cover sections connected to pivot about a manually actuated spring-biased clip member. The clip member normally biases the cover sections into a closed condition adapted to enclose a head of a golf club. The clip member includes a pair of handle elements projecting outward from the enclosure that are adapted to be gripped between the thumb and one or more fingers by a user and depressed towards each other to move the cover sections so they pivot and spread apart into an open condition. The user grips the handle elements with one hand and depresses them so the enclosure is in the open condition. While maintaining a grip on the handle elements to keep the enclosure in the open condition, the user with his or her other hand places the head of a golf club between the spread apart cover sections, or withdraws the head, as the case may be.

Abstract: A tamper-evident enclosure for the storage and transport of bank notes comprises a frame spanned by a membrane of elasticated material. The frame is located in the top of an open-topped container and bank notes are pushed through the frame, deflecting flaps, until the membrane is fully distended. A cover plate is then slid through channels on opposite sides of the frame to close the “bag”. When the “bag” is fully closed a tongue at the leading end of the cover plate enters a hollow formation at the trailing end of the frame. Either the tongue has fins which dig into the interior of the hollow formation, or the channels and opposite sides of the cover plate have saw-tooth formations permitting movement of the cover plate only in one direction. By either arrangement the cover plate can only be removed from the frame by first breaking off the tongue and bending down the hollow formation.

Abstract: Containers provide for portability and ease of handling by being constructed of pliable materials such as various polymers and having additional features. The containers may have biasing members such as tension poles to hold the containers in an upright and open top position and/or may have sleeves that can be engaged by a forklift for dumping of the container by a conventional forklift equipped garbage truck. The containers may include additional features such as loops along a top edge to allow grasping of the loops by a lift and loops along a bottom edge to allow dragging of the container such as onto a flatbed hauler. Additional features may include a top cover that can be pulled over the open top and secured such as by a fastener.

Abstract: A modular insulated water tank comprising a hollow insulated support structure, a liner, and an insulated cover, with the support structure being comprised of two or more separable, vertically stackable retention tiers, the liner being a flexible container capable of retaining fluids within the interior of the support structure, and the cover being capable of enclosing contents contained within the interior of the water tank. So configured, the modular insulated water tank is capable of retaining a large quantity of fluid, such as water, at an elevated temperature for an extended length of time, for purposes of using the heat energy stored therein for space heating purposes or for domestic hot water use.

Abstract: A baking sheet having a substantially flat silicone cooking surface, two rods extending along and coupled to opposite sides of the cooking surface, and two thermo-resistant handles coupled to and extending between the two rods. The thermo-resistant handles may be connected to the rods using thermo-resistant connectors. The connectors can disconnect from the rods and possibly be rotated to rotate the handles in positions adjacent to the rods to enable the baking sheet to be rolled into storage. The thermo-resistant characteristic of the handles enables users to lift the heated baking sheet without the use of oven mitts or other protective device.

Abstract: A collapsible container according to the present invention comprises a plurality of side panels and a floor panel forming an enclosure having an open top. Each side panel comprises a flexible frame, a web of material, and an edging material. At least one of the panel frames comprises a discontinuous loop. The edging envelops the frame and is coupled to the periphery of the web. One or more handles may be attached to the container or formed within one or more of the side panels. A method of making and collapsing the container is also disclosed.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method and system for supplementing fuel for an internal combustion engine by applying a current across a cathode and an anode in an aqueous electrolyte solution to generate fuel gas such as hydrogen; directing the fuel gas to fill a collapsible bag; directing the fuel gas past the collapsible bag to the internal combustion engine when the collapsible bag is full; and allowing the fuel gas that filled the collapsible bag to be drawn into the engine when the engine requires a fuel boost.

Moreover, the at least one strap is internalized between the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve.
