Lever Or Link Patents (Class 221/274)
  • Patent number: 4349127
Abstract: A device for holding a stack of hangers and for advancing one hanger at a time from the stack to a forward position and for carrying out a predetermined operation, usually the affixing of garments, when in the forward position, is described. The device comprises a vertical frame for holding the hangers, a main plate essentially perpendicular to the frame and intersecting the frame in an essentially cross configuration, a receptacle for the hanger resting on the main plate. The receptacle is slidable from a forward position to a rearward position and vice versa. An electric motor provided with a cam linkage permits to carry out automatically the steps of advancing and retracting the receptacle. The method of operation is also described.

  • Patent number: 4331261
Abstract: Single newspaper security dispenser structure retrofits within a presently conventional newspaper-dispensing rack. The dispenser includes a sliding table within a housing which fits and floats within the newspaper rack. The table rests on the top newspaper, slides out of the housing when the rack door is opened and draws a single newspaper out underneath with the table and through a front opening in the housing. The relative height of the dispenser table and housing, and the length of the paper-pulling tongue are adjustable in accordance with paper thickness.

  • Patent number: 4266564
Abstract: A coin release assembly for selectively removing a coin element from a coin tube retaining a plurality of coin elements, the coin tube having a coin exit end with a coin exit opening formed through the coin exit end to permit discharge of the coin elements therethrough, the assembly comprising a base plate having an opening extending therethrough, the opening in the base plate being offset with respect to the coin exit opening of the coin tube such that a portion of the base plate supports the coin elements within the coin tube, and a coin ejecting assembly movable from a first position to a second position, the coin ejecting assembly engagable with a lowermost coin element supported in the coin tube by the base plate for moving the engaged coin element to the opening in the base plate for discharging the coin element through the opening in the base plate.

  • Patent number: 4245756
Abstract: A device for dispensing a plurality of rectangular objects and depositing the objects on a surface in uniformly spaced relationship with the objects standing upright on a short edge, more particularly, a device for setting up dominos in a row so that the dominos can be knocked down sequentially. The device includes a wheel supported body which supports an upstanding supply chamber for storing stacked dominos, and an ejecting assembly at the bottom of the supply chamber which ejects the bottom most domino toward the rear of the body as the body rolls across a surface. The ejecting assembly moves each domino into engagement with a top and side guide assembly which cooperates with the ejecting assembly to cause the domino to be deposited on the supporting surface and stabilized thereon in a stationary position before the device moves away from the domino so that the domino remains upright and does not fall.

  • Patent number: 4200202
Abstract: A generally sealed container storage and cooling chamber is disposed beneath the top surface of a piece of furniture. A container transport device is disposed in the chamber and is adapted to present one container at a time to a vertically oriented delivery device. The delivery device comprises a generally cylindrical vertical guide channel having a container release opening in its side and which communicates with the transport device. The top of the guide channel forms an access opening in the top surface of the furniture. A feed piston is slideably mounted in the guide channel and is movable between a lowered and a raised position. When the piston is in its raised position, its side wall blocks the container release opening, and its top wall forms a support for a beverage container and may also complete the top furniture surface. When the piston is in its lowered position, a beverage container is delivered by gravity through the release opening and onto the piston top wall.

  • Patent number: 4168784
Abstract: An adjustable, multi-product vending machine is disclosed which is capable of dispensing a large number of products in a relatively small space using a limited number of coin slides. The device is activated by one or more coin slides which may be of the multi-coin type and comprises a plurality of variable width product dispensing bins, each of which is equipped with a vend plate assembly for individual operation. The bins are easily adjustable in width to accommodate products of various sizes and one vend plate assembly is provided for each bin. An interlock system interacts with the plurality of vend plate assemblies to prevent dispensing more than one product during each operation of a coin slide.
