Abstract: A dispensing device includes a container retaining a dispensable material, which prevents the material from breaking prior to being dispensed or over-dispensing material by including a mechanism to slow the dispensation of the material, and also aids in breaking the material subsequent to the material exiting the container. The container has a faceplate with at least three members forming a substantially triangular aperture through which the dispensable material is fed. The three members include a pair of opposing flanges forming the triangular aperture therebetween. The pair of opposing flanges further form a substantially linear slot therebetween and contiguous with the triangular aperture, with the dispensable material further fed through the slot. Each of the pair of opposing flanges has a curved surface forming a side of the triangular aperture.

Abstract: In some aspects, an analyte sensor is provided for detecting an analyte concentration level in a bio-fluid sample. The analyte sensor has a base with first and second ends, a concave recess in the first end, a second end receiving surface, and a sidewall extending between the ends. An electrode may be provided on the receiving surface with an electrochemically-active region coupled to the electrode. A conductor in electrical contact with the electrode may extend along the sidewall and may be adapted to be in electrical contact with a first contact of an analyte meter. Manufacturing methods and systems utilizing and dispensing the analyte sensors are provided, as are numerous other aspects.

Abstract: A dispenser for a pad of repositionable notes is provided. The dispenser includes (a) a base having opposing interior and exterior surfaces; (b) a cover having opposing interior and exterior surfaces and two slots disposed substantially orthogonal to one another, the slots being sized to allow for dispensing individual repositionable notes from the pad, the cover disposed on the base forming a cavity; and (c) a biasing mechanism disposed in the cavity.

Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing folded sheet products from a stack of folded sheet products, includes: an open-ended body, a front panel provided with a dispensing opening, a rear panel, and a transverse panel located between the front and rear panels. The dispenser further includes a support member for receiving the stack of the folded sheet products and at least one locking mechanism located between the support member and at least one longitudinal wall of the open-ended body.

Abstract: A gravity-feed dispenser includes an internal blocker assembly to prevent folded sheet from falling away from the dispensing aperture. A preferred embodiment includes a spring biased blocker arm which cooperates with a spring biased guide plate to maintain the napkins in position throughout dispensing of the stack, especially when the stack is depleted and of insufficient weight to urge the remaining sheets into position. In a preferred embodiment, the dispenser is provided with a convertible support, suitable for mounting the dispenser on either a wall or a countertop with a quick release mounting bracket.

Abstract: A memo block base and container is composed by a memo block base and a container. The memo block base is provided with at least one magnetic article in the bottom, the container is provided with at least one magnetic article in the inner bottom, and the upward pole of the magnetic article in the container is the same as the downward pole of the magnetic article in the memo block base. When the memo block base is placed in the container, the memo block base will keep suspending and away a certain distance from the inner bottom of the container because of the effect of magnetic suspension.

Abstract: A cardholder and dispenser including a housing for encasing the plurality of business cards. The housing having an entrance slot for allowing business cards to be inserted into a housing cavity. The housing further having an exit slot opposing the entrance slot for allowing single cards to be advanced out of the invented cardholder. A spring is utilized within the housing to bias the business cards to a position adjacent to the exit slot for easy ejection therefrom.

Abstract: A chewing gum stick dispenser includes a generally box-shaped container having a slot therein for dispensing a single stick of gum. A scissoring pair of swing arms utilizes tensioning means for urging the contained sticks of gum toward an operator wall. The operator wall retains a slidable operator having a seat adapted to engage a single stick of gum and push it partially through the dispensing slot. The container further includes a pivoted cap which can be opened to provide easy refilling of the container.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for dispensing packaged bandages in a way that allows for the easy removal of the bandage from its package. The dispenser comprises walls defining a cavity adapted to receive the stack of sheets, a rectangular flat top wall having an opening through which the sheets may be individually dispensed, a flat bottom wall having approximately the same dimensions as the flat top wall, with the flat bottom wall being approximately parallel to the flat top wall, and resilient means to push the stack of said sheets to the opening in the top wall of the dispenser.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a dispenser box allowing for the removal of individual coupons without the chance of another coupon being removed at the same time. The dispenser comprises walls defining a cavity adapted to receive the stack of sheets, a rectangular flat top wall having an opening through which the sheets may be individually dispensed, a flat bottom wall having approximately the same dimensions as the flat top wall, with the flat bottom wall being approximately parallel to the flat top wall, and resilient means to push the stack of said sheets to the opening in the top wall of the dispenser.

Abstract: A mechanism for automatically pushing up tissues which includes a box and a pusher. The box stores the tissues in layers and has a top wall with an opening formed therein for picking up tissues therethrough. The pusher is disposed under the tissues in the box for pushing up tissues. The pusher includes a flat base, main leg, subleg and a force member. The tissues are placed in layers on the flat base. The main leg has an upper end fixed to a lower face of the base so that the main leg may be freely folded relative to the base. The subleg is connected to the main leg and has a first end contacting the lower face of the base. The first end of the subleg is displaced from the fixed upper end of the main leg for supporting the base in a substantially horizontal state. The force member is attached to the main leg and subleg for forcing the main leg and subleg to push up the base.
