Abstract: There is provided a method of use and a canister closure member configured to selectively enclose a canister containing a continuous web of we towelettes defining individual wet towelettes by a plurality of perforations so that the web of towelettes can be separated into individual sheets. The canister closure member includes a dispensing structure and a single wipe dispenser structure defined in the dispensing structure. The single wipe dispenser includes three fingers defined in the dispensing structure. The fingers define a dispensing orifice with the three fingers configured to prevent more than one individual sheet of towellete to exit the canister. Each finger has a characteristic of flexibility, of sufficient pliability, to allow the towelettes to move through the dispensing orifice and a characteristic of strength sufficient to restrain the towelettes until a single towelette separates from the continuous web at the perforations.

Abstract: A sheet product dispenser for dispensing a strip of a sheet product from a static center-feed coreless roll of sheet product is disclosed. The roll includes a central cavity. The dispenser includes a container for accommodating the roll, and a dispensing piece which protrudes toward an interior of the container from one end of the container and which includes a guidance between a receiving opening for receiving the strip of sheet product from the roll and a dispensing opening for dispensing the strip of sheet product outside of the dispenser. The dispensing piece is arranged to engage into the central cavity of the roll. The dispensers provide a dispensing opening so that withdrawal of a sheet product is facilitated by avoiding collapsing or clogging. Furthermore, the dispenser has a compact configuration that gains space during delivery and transportation.

Abstract: An apparatus for removing a portion of a protective covering from a drinking straw, including a support mounted on a container for receiving the portion of the protective covering removed from the drinking straw, and an orifice in the support having a shape and size adapted for receiving a drinking straw packaged in a protective covering through the orifice to the extent corresponding to the length of the portion of the covering to be removed from the drinking straw, the orifice positioned in the support to allow the protective covering to be received through the orifice but not withdrawn from the orifice. A related method is also disclosed.

Abstract: A holder for used plastic bags having at least two tubular containers, one container larger than the other. The larger container is used for storing bags that are larger than the bags stored by the other container. Each container has a first opening at one end of the container for passing bags into or out of the container and a second opening at the other end of the container for passing bags into or out of the container. The openings are at least large enough for a user to insert his thumb and a finger within the container to be able to withdraw a bag from within the container. There is a slot in each container between the openings allowing a member to be inserted into the container to move bags within the container toward either opening. The holder can be mounted with either end at the top, normally forming an inlet for the bags while the opening at the bottom forms an outlet.

Abstract: A dispenser for sanitary tissue products is provided. The dispenser comprises a housing defining a cavity configured to receive sanitary tissue products therein and an opening defined in the housing. The sanitary tissue products within the cavity are configured to be dispensed through the opening. The opening is defined by a first portion having a first width, a second portion having a second width, and a third portion having a third width. The third portion extends between the first portion and the second portion. The first width and the second width are both larger than the third width.

Abstract: An apparatus for refilling a cylindrical wipes dispenser. The apparatus includes a plurality of rectangular wipes configured in a flat stack and having packaging that contains an opening mechanism. The opening mechanism is operable for opening the apparatus to allow common removal of the plurality of rectangular wipes. The plurality of rectangular wipes are interleaved and folded to form an indentation along a longitudinal axis of the plurality of rectangular wipes. The plurality of rectangular wipes is operable to be folded along the indentation to form a V shape for insertion into a cylindrical dispensing container. The width of the rectangular flat stack wipes is slightly larger than the diameter of the dispensing cylinder.

Abstract: A towelette dispenser is provided with a lid. The lid has a central aperture for allowing access to a roll of towelettes maintained within a tub receiving the lid therein. The lid includes an inwardly tapered annular surface extending towards the tub. A gap segment is configured in the annular surface to define an entrance. The gap segment travels through the surface structure to a capturing element configured to exert a force on a towelette to permit separation of one towelette from supply of interconnected towelettes. The gap segment is further configured to travel upwardly along the surface structure in a direction away from the entrance towards the capturing element, such that the capturing element is offset and upwardly positioned along the surface structure from the entrance.

Abstract: A pop-up type dispenser is provided for paper towels, in which a specially sized and shaped hole in the dispenser top cooperates with a stack of paper towels housed in the dispenser. The towel stack has at least two interfolded webs of perforated absorbent sheet material in which the perforations of one web are not aligned with the perforations of an adjacent web. The towels may be withdrawn through the opening one sheet at a time, by a user pulling on a first sheet of said one web protruding through said opening without needing to touch a next sheet on the adjacent web or a subsequent sheet on the one web.

Abstract: The present invention fulfills the above and other objects by providing a combination dispensing and disposal container (1) having a dispensing end (2) with a dispensing opening (3) for dispensing new items, such as facial tissue, wet wipes, candy, etc. On the opposite end of the container is a disposal end (4) with a disposal opening (5) for accepting trash. A bladder (6) located inside of the container separates a storage compartment (7) where new items are held from a disposal compartment (8) where trash is held. In addition to or in lieu of a bladder, a rigid partition (9) may also separate the storage compartment from the disposal compartment. One or more lids (10, 11) keeps the dispensing and end and the disposal end sealed when not in use. An additional feature is a strap (12) that allows a user to attach the tissue container to his or her wrist.

Abstract: The present invention provides a dispenser for moisturized sheets in the core of a toilet paper roll. Not only are wet and dry wipes provided coincidentally, the location is particularly handy for toilet use. In a utilization of existing bathroom fixtures, the novel concept offsets the rotational axis of the toilet paper roll to make an aperture available to dispense the moisturized sheets from the volume of the core previously occupied by the conventional spool. The invention further provides a hermetically sealed refill unit, a mechanism for singlating individual wipes, and means for preventing moisture loss from the sheets.

The faceplate portion is arranged to support and dispense the sheet products, has an opening comprising a rectangular portion with a centrally disposed arcing triangular portion having a centrally disposed arced apex, the rectangular portion extends from an upper edge of the faceplate to the arced apex, the opening is arranged to expose a plurality of the sheet products on one end of the body portion through the rectangular portion and to expose a planar surface of a single sheet product through the arcing triangular portion.

Abstract: A container including: a container top having a dispensing opening formed from a plurality of top flaps; a container bottom disposed opposite the container top formed from a plurality of bottom flaps; and a plurality of decorative panels forming a sidewall of the container having a continuous decorative surface. The container is formed from a substantially symmetrical blank. As a result, the container can be loaded from either end on a cartoner. The container's continuous decorative surface on the sidewall allows for graphics on the container's sidewall to continue unimpeded. Advantageously, the container is designed for use on high speed cartoners and can be filled from either the top or the bottom as required.

Abstract: A combination dispenser for hand wipes and hand gel, configured to be held in a cup holder, is disclosed. Some embodiments of the device are substantially cylindrical in order to fit within a cup holder and substantially prevent shifting. Further, embodiments are partitioned internally to provide at least two separate compartments. The partitioned compartments are uniquely designed to hold and provide access to various products such as, but not limited to, hand wipes, sanitizing gel, lotion, fragrance, liquid soap or the like. In some embodiments, a lid covers the device to prevent the hand wipes from drying out. Also, some embodiments include a pump aspect that is in fluid communication with fluid products contained within a portion of the device.

Abstract: One embodiment for dispensers for dispensing wet wipes includes a container, a plurality of wet wipes contained within the container and a dispensing nozzle made of a resilient material secured to the container. The dispensing nozzle includes an outlet opening in the nozzle. A fluid retaining member is located at a point below the opening. Another embodiment includes a container for holding a plurality of wipes. A dispensing nozzle includes a resilient member having an outlet opening is secured to the container. A fluid retaining member is located below the outlet. In one embodiment, the fluid retaining member has a surface that is sloped. Embodiments of dispensing nozzles for wet wipes are also disclosed wherein the dispensing nozzle includes a resilient dome shaped member having an opening located therein. In addition, the dispensing nozzle includes an annular fluid retaining ring. The annular fluid retaining ring may have a sloped surface.

Abstract: By either rotating a folded clip within a dispenser, or by folding the clip into a J-shape instead of a U-shape and then placing the clip into a dispenser, more sheets can be placed into the dispenser without causing an increase in dispensing problems. Alternatively, fewer dispensing problems result if the same number of sheets is placed into the dispenser. In one embodiment, the dispenser was an upright facial tissue carton and the clip was an interfolded stack of facial tissues.

Abstract: Provided is a compact wet wipes package, wherein wet wipes can be easily drawn from a storage container, and the production cost can be kept low. This wet wipes package is provided with: a wet wipes folded body which is continuously folded and stacked, and in which dividing portions are formed at a predetermined interval; an airtight storage container which is formed to store the wet wipes folded body and includes an opening portion from which stored wet wipes are to be drawn outward; a base plate which is attached to the opening portion and is formed with a pinching hole through which the wet wipes are pinched and drawn outward; a drawing hole which is linked with the pinching hole and functions to divide the wet wipes at the dividing portion; and openable/closable lid which can hermetically close the pinching hole and the drawing hole.

A first side region of the first sidewall is coupled to a first region of the second sidewall via the first hinge feature and a second side region of the first sidewall is coupled to a second side region of the second sidewall via the second hinge feature. The top wall includes a first region coupled to the first sidewall and a second region coupled to the second sidewall. The bottom wall includes a first region coupled to the first sidewall and a second region coupled to the second sidewall. In a particular embodiment, the sheet material dispenser is a collapsible tissue dispenser adapted to sit in a cup holder when in a non-collapsed state and in a pocket when in a collapsed state.

Abstract: A substantially moisture tight container and lid assembly for storing and packaging moisture-sensitive items comprising an assembly with a container and a lid, the lid is attached by a hinge to an upper housing portion of the container, the lid includes a lip seal member that depends downwardly from the lid, the lip seal member is configured to abut at least a portion of the interior side of the container when the lid is in the closed position resulting in a substantially moisture tight seal between the lid and the lid, and the container assembly further comprising a base portion and an upper housing portion, the upper housing portion is capable of being snap-fit into the base portion by employing a lip seal mechanism to form a substantially moisture-tight seal.

Abstract: A dispenser for a center-fed roll of web material in the form of tissue paper or nonwoven material has a dispenser opening which preferably has an elongated shape wherein one side edge is provided with tearing elements and the opposite side edge is smooth and free from tearing elements, and wherein the length of the dispenser opening is between 40 and 90% of the roll diameter and the width of the dispenser opening is at least 10 times the thickness of the web material and at least 5 mm, but no more than 40 mm. Preferably the dispenser is portable, wherein at least a substantial part of the dispenser is made of a moisture and tear resistant flexible material adapted for multiple use and the dispenser further includes a reclosable opening through which the roll of web material may be inserted into the dispenser.

The lid has a central aperture for allowing access to a roll of towelettes maintained within a tub receiving the lid therein. The separation bar bridges the aperture, and provides a rip fence in the form of a fingered thimble that is angled with respect to the lid as a whole. The thimble is offset near one edge of the annular opening so that a user may access the back side thereof to thread an edge of the leading towelette through the thimble without having to remove the lid from the tub. A well is provided in the smaller portion of the aperture and a cap for the lid is provided with a stuffer tab to urge the leading edge of the next towelette into the well when the cap is closed. Barrier caps are also provided to seal the interior of the tub during shipment and storage before the first use of the towelette dispenser.

The rupturable lines (4) extend from a point (5A) on one first side edge (2A) to a point (5B) on the second side edge (2B). Each rupturable line is more easily ruptured adjacent the second side edge than the first side edge. The wipes are arranged such that said point on the first side edge of the rupturable line emerges from the nozzle or opening before said point on the second side edge.

Abstract: A motor-free dunnage conversion system for converting a sheet stock material into a relatively less dense dunnage includes a container having a wall with an opening therethrough, a supply of sheet stock material within the container, and a forming member. The forming member has converging sidewalls that define a passage alignable with the opening in the wall. The forming member is a converging chute having a relatively larger inlet spaced from the outlet, which is relatively smaller than the inlet. The forming member functions to crumple the sheet stock material as a packer draws the sheet stock material through the forming member to form a crumpled strip of dunnage. The forming member has a dimension that is larger than a corresponding dimension of the opening to keep the forming member from escaping the container as the packer pulls the stock material through the forming member.

Abstract: Various pop-up bath tissue dispensing devices are described. In one embodiment, the bath tissue dispenser is configured to dispense bath tissues one at a time. In order to educate a child during toilet training on how much tissue to use, the tissue sheets contained within the dispenser have a size sufficient such that only one sheet is necessary for wiping. The dispenser can include an attachment device for attaching the dispenser to a spindle while still permitting the spindle to hold a conventional roll of bath tissue. In various embodiments, the tissue sheets or the dispenser may include designs or other indicia to either encourage a child during toilet training or to help educate the child during toilet training.

Abstract: A sheet dispenser is defined by at least six panels having outwardly facing surfaces, wherein at least one of the panels is oriented at an oblique angle with respect to the other panels. Sheets may be dispensed from an opening located on the oblique surface. Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing interfolded disposable sheets is disclosed. The dispenser includes a removable panel that is attached to the first sheet in the stack contained in the container. When the removable panel is pulled off the container, the first sheet in the stack is partially or completely withdrawn from the container. The removable panel may be adhered to the first sheet using an adhesive material. The adhesive material may be contained in a recess formed in the removable panel. The recess is designed to protect the adhesive material during manufacture of the product and/or to prevent the adhesive material to adhering to other portions of the product. In one embodiment, after the stack of sheets are loaded into the dispenser, the recess is inverted forming a protrusion that contacts the first sheet in the stack and forms a bond between the removable panel and the first sheet.

Abstract: A paper towel cabinet includes an enclosure and an opening that includes first edge a second edge. The cabinet further includes a dispenser module configured to be housed in the enclosure. The dispenser module includes a pair of generally parallel side walls defining a channel having a dispensing end, and a bar extending between the side walls proximate to the dispensing end. When the dispenser module is disposed in the enclosure with the dispensing end disposed at the opening, the bar extends along the opening between the first edge and the second edge of the opening. When a stack of paper towels is placed in the channel, the bar is disposed between a stack of paper towels and the opening. The paper towel cabinet may also include a bar extending along the opening between the first edge and the second edge without having a dispenser module. The bar may be formed at any one of the first edge or second edge of the opening by an inwardly curved surface formed by any one of the first edge and the second edge.

Aspects of the glove assemblies provided herein include a dispenser case having a flange having locking tab for sliding engagement with a channel on the carrier. The dispenser case may be removed from the carrier and a new dispenser case engaged to the carrier.

The dispenser includes first and second members pivotally connected together by a first hinge to form a first entrance into the dispenser. The first and second members are capable of housing a plurality of wet or dry, sheet-like articles. The first entrance provides reach-in access wherein multiple sheet-like articles can be withdrawn at one time. The second member also has a second entrance formed therein from which the sheet-like articles can be individually withdrawn. The dispenser further includes a third member secured to the first member by a hinge that is coaxially aligned with the first hinge. The third member is capable of pivoting on its hinge to cover the second entrance.

A clip of interfolded disposable sheets is inserted into the interior volume of the container. After insertion of the clip, the adhesive material is exposed in an adhesive state to the interior volume of the container and contact is made between the adhesive and the uppermost sheet of the clip of interfolded sheets such that the removable panel is attached to the uppermost sheet.

A well is provided in the smaller portion of the aperture and a cap for the lid is provided with a stuffer tab to urge the leading edge of the next towelette into the well when the cap is closed. Barrier caps are also provided to seal the interior of the tub during shipment and storage before the first use of the towelette dispenser.
