  • Patent number: 8408426
Abstract: A squeeze bottle forces substantially all of the liquid to be dispensed toward a top of the bottle. A valving arrangement reduces or eliminates a likelihood of air contacting the liquid to be dispensed. A top cap has a nozzle with a one-way valve allowing liquid to leave a liquid bag. A bottom cap has a one-way valve allowing air to enter an airbag. The liquid bag and the airbag are positioned within a sealed third chamber. The liquid bag and the airbag have a controlled interaction within the sealed third chamber, which results in substantially complete emptying of the liquid bag by squeezing the bottle.

  • Patent number: 8393364
Abstract: In, for example, a direct methanol type fuelcell, fuel is allowed to be injected little by little when the fuel is injected and supplied from the outside to a fuel receiving part reduced in the amount of remaining fuel on the fuelcell body side and an electromotive part can be prevented from being damaged by keeping the pressure in the fuel receiving part at a fixed level or less when the fuel is injected. Specifically, when a fuel CL filled in a refuelling container C is injected into a fuel receiving part T in several lots, a fuel injecting operation is repeated in which the volume of the refuelling container C is shrunk and reduced to supply the fuel into the fuel receiving part T in a proper amount and then the original volume of the refuelling container is restored to thereby absorb the atmospheric gas in the fuel receiving part T, which makes it possible to inject fuel continuously without any hindrance to the injection of the fuel.

Abstract: A colorant storage medium and dispensing system where colorants are packaged in bags to solve the issue of drying and storage. The system allows end users to convert their old manual dispenser into dispensing non-glycol water based colorants. Since the colorant is stored in an air tight bag, there would be no need to purge colorant. Moreover, the system would not need electricity or computers to operate. The bag may include a stirring mechanism, one or more fill ports and an exit hose that connects to a dispensing unit or an adapter fitted for a dispensing unit. Such an adapter is herein described, as well as a fill kit useful for filling the colorant bags.

  • Patent number: 8317062
Abstract: A valve for distributing two fluids contained in a rigid flask by propulsion, the first fluid contained in a first flexible pouch, and the second fluid in the flask so as to be isolated from the first fluid before the fluid leaves through the valve. When the valve is placed on the flask, an internal part of the valve is inside the flask, an external part of the valve is outside the flask. A first passage which can be closed connects the inside of the first pouch and the space surrounding the external part of the valve, and a second passage which can also be closed connects the space intended to receive the second fluid and the space surrounding the external part of the valve. The valve has a second flexible pouch for receiving the second fluid, which is fixed to the valve and placed around the first pouch.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a blow-molded, rigid collapsible liner that can be suitable particularly for smaller storage and dispensing systems. The rigid collapsible liner may be a stand-alone liner, e.g., used without an outer container, and may be dispensed from a fixed pressure dispensing can. Folds in the rigid collapsible liner may be substantially eliminated, thereby substantially reducing or eliminating the problems associated with pinholes, weld tears, and overflow. The present disclosure also relates to flexible gusseted or non-gusseted liners, which is scalable in size and may be used for storage of up to 200 L or more. The flexible gusseted liner may be foldable, such that the liner can be introduced into a dispensing can. The liner can be made of thicker materials, substantially reducing or eliminating the problems associated pinholes, and may include more robust welds, substantially reducing or eliminating the problems associated weld tears.
