  • Patent number: 10413926
Abstract: The present invention relates to fluid dispensing devices for use in dispensing different liquids (e.g., bleach and bleach activator) from a bottle having first and second compartments. To minimize the presence of mixed composition residually present within the fluid dispensing device, it may be helpful to delay mixing. Separate dip tubes may be provided to pull liquid from the separate compartments, each with its own separate pump. Each pump may deliver the separate compositions to a spray nozzle of the device through separate delivery tubes (e.g., from the pumps to the nozzle). In other embodiments, a single delivery tube, and/or a single pump may be provided, e.g., where the volume of mixed composition that may be present in such pump and/or delivery tube may be sufficiently small so as to still provide overall desired efficacy characteristics. Dual delivery tube configurations may eliminate any need to prime the device by spraying out old, residual mixed composition.

  • Patent number: 10335818
Abstract: A dual dispenser having two pumps and an outlet channel that is fed with the fluids coming from both pumps. The two pumps include respective actuator rods that are movable axially over strokes of different lengths, namely a first actuator rod having a long stroke, and a second actuator rod having a short stroke. The common dispenser head includes a pivot member that forms two bearing elements that are constrained to move together, so as to move both actuator rods simultaneously over an axial height that corresponds to the short stroke, with one bearing element then continuing its movement so as to terminate its long stroke by pivoting and turning the pivot member about the bearing element that is blocked in position as a result of the second actuator rod already being fully depressed.

  • Patent number: 9358715
Abstract: A mixer gun system includes a holder cap configured to separately store components in separate chambers. The components are selectively releasable through channels fluidly communicating with the separate chambers. The components are constituent materials for a bone cement mixture. A body forms a mixing chamber and is configured to receive the holder cap. The mixing chamber includes an opening corresponding with the channels for the separate chambers. A piston is disposed within the mixing chamber. A plunger is coupled to the piston and is configured to be biased toward the mixing chamber such that when the components are released into the mixing chamber a pressure developed by a biased motion of the plunger and piston infuses the components to form bone cement. Upon resetting the plunger and the piston, the bone cement is dispensed from the mixing chamber by the same biased motion. Methods of use are disclosed.
