  • Patent number: 7677414
Abstract: In application of a foamed hot melt adhesive, a mixing ratio of foam can be selectably and quickly set, and also application of a foamed hot melt adhesive and that of a solid hot melt adhesive can be selectively performed by a single application device. A first gear pump and a second gear pump are driven by drive mechanisms independent from each other. The pressure of a liquid being sent by the pressure in the second compression process is detected, and this causes the speed of the first gear pump and the second gear pump to be sequence-controlled to automatically control the amount of mixing of gas. A gas suction opening is provided between the first gear pump and the second gear pump, and a mixer is provided between the gas suction opening and the second gear pump. The end of a return circuit is set on the downstream side of the first gear pump to prevent foam from returning to the tank side. A restriction valve is installed in a gun to produce a single bubble.

Abstract: The dispensing device for single use includes a multicomponent cartridge (1), a mixer (8) having a mixer housing (9), as well as closure means for closing the outlets (4, 5) of the multicomponent cartridge. These closure means are connected to the mixer housing and comprise a respective closure stopper (13, 14) for each outlet that is insertable in an outlet (4, 5) of the multicomponent cartridge and is deformable such that upon rotation of the mixer housing relative to the cartridge, the closure stoppers (13, 14) are removed from the outlets (4, 5) of the multicomponent cartridge. Such an easily removable closure by means of deformable closure stoppers allows a very economical manufacture of dispensing devices that are intended to be used only once at it is required in medicine and in other fields.

Abstract: A device for blending and dispensing liquid compositions includes an arrangement of components that provide an efficient dispenser for home and personal use. The device may include a plurality of cartridges and a plurality of pumps. Each of the cartridges contains a liquid additive and may be removably attached to the dispenser. Each of the pumps is connected to one of the cartridges and can be activated to draw a desired amount of liquid from that cartridge. The device may also include a spinning element for both mixing and dispensing the liquid composition. The liquids may flow out of the cartridges to one or more inlets near the surface of the spinning element and be mixed as they flow over the surface of the spinning element. The spinning element may also be selectively movable from a closed position sealing the dispensing outlet to an open position that provides a pathway for liquid to be dispensed from the device.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein provide a pump or a multiple-pump system that can mix chemicals without dilution tanks and can dispense the mixture of chemicals in a precise and highly controllable manner, particularly useful in semiconductor manufacturing processes. In some embodiments, one or more piston pumps of similar displacement are used to mix and dispense the chemical directly. A first valve is opened to a first chemical source. A piston is moved in a first direction to a selected position in a chamber to draw the first chemical into the chamber. The first valve is closed and a second valve is opened to a second chemical source. The piston is moved in the first direction to a second position in the chamber to draw in the second chemical and mix the chemicals. The second valve is closed and the piston is moved to dispense the fluids through a dispense port.
