  • Patent number: 11904344
Abstract: Systems and methods for enhanced hot melt liquid dispensing system management are disclosed. In an example method for determining an operating instruction for a hot melt liquid dispensing system having an applicator and a heater, the operating instruction is determined based on a filtered applicator parameter value associated with gun cycle counts of the applicator and a filtered heater parameter value associated with duty cycle values of the heater. The filtered applicator parameter value is determined based on historic applicator parameter values that are updated according to a current applicator parameter value. The filtered heater parameter value is determined based on historic heater parameter values that are updated according to a current heater parameter value.

  • Patent number: 11819868
Abstract: A spray gun includes a gun body and valves configured to control flow of material and air through the gun body. A trigger is mounted to the gun body and is disposed relative to the valves such that the trigger actuates the valves in sequence to begin air flow and material flow. A sensor senses when the trigger is in an actuated state and the sensor causes a pump to begin pumping material to the spray gun. Release of the trigger causes the trigger to leave the actuated state. A detent mechanism holes the trigger in a detent state intermediate the actuated state and a resting state. The sensor does not sense the trigger with the trigger in the detent state. The trigger maintains the valves open with the trigger in the detent state.

The steam generator, according to the present invention, can generate steam without a separate electric power supply device, can generate steam that is harmless to the human body without generating ozone, and can generates an abundant amount of atomized steam through a process for directly heating the supplied raw water by using a heating member disposed in a housing and then secondarily heating the steam of which a phase is primarily changed so as to atomize steam particles, thereby suppressing the ejection of condensed water.

Abstract: A wine dispenser is disclosed that protects unpoured wine from oxidation due to exposure to air within the dispenser. The dispenser includes a dispenser body having a weighted piston disposed within, the weighted piston being configured to move toward the dispensing end of the dispenser body when the dispenser is tilted downward, causing wine to be dispensed via a dispensing assembly. The dispensing assembly includes a lid having a wine flow channel that provides a path for wine to flow out of the dispenser body, and a unidirectional flow valve that is biased in a closed air-tight state to prevent air from entering the dispenser body via the wine flow channel, unless the unidirectional flow valve is forced into an open state, thereby allowing wine to flow out from the dispenser body via the wine flow channel, and then out of the dispenser via a pouring neck.

Abstract: The present invention relates to self-foaming hot melt adhesive compositions and methods of making and using the same. Self-foaming hot melt adhesive compositions are formed by admixing a dispersion concentrate including a chemical blowing agent and a compatible carrier (liquid or molten) with a molten base hot melt adhesive composition at a temperature below the decomposition temperature of the chemical blowing agent. The resolidified material is processed through a device that heats the material above the decomposition temperature of the chemical agent and cools it below such temperature before being dispensed. The device preferably includes sensors and a controller configured to prevent the material from accumulating an adverse thermal history during processing.

Abstract: A transfer pump for moving pellets of adhesive includes a pump housing with an adhesive inlet coupled to a supply hopper, an adhesive outlet coupled to an outlet hose, and an adhesive passage extending between the adhesive inlet and the adhesive outlet. A first air nozzle communicates with the adhesive passage adjacent the adhesive inlet and expels a first air jet that pushes pellets of adhesive through the adhesive passage. A second air nozzle communicates with the adhesive passage between the adhesive inlet and the adhesive outlet and expels a plurality of second air jets that draw pellets of adhesive through the adhesive passage by a vacuum force. The first and second air nozzles prevent clogging of pellets in the adhesive passage and enable movement of larger pellets than either air nozzle individually.
