Abstract: Aspects of the present invention are directed to a variable dose container. The variable dose container may comprise a container including a top portion, a bottom portion, and a side wall portion, the space between the bottom portion and the side wall portion defining an interior space, wherein the container stores contents within the interior space. The variable dose container may further include an actuator coupled with the top portion of the container that is depressible in a longitudinal direction to drive the contents held in the interior space of the container out of a nozzle protruding horizontally from the actuator. Additionally, the variable dose container may include a collar under the nozzle, a top circumferential edge of the collar containing one or more grooves of varying depth into which the nozzle can be inserted when depressed, thereby adjusting a distance the actuator is moved in the longitudinal direction.

  • Patent number: 9888816
Abstract: An antibacterial dispensing bracelet includes a frame having a receptacle receiving a removable cartridge defining an interior reservoir for containing a quantity of antibacterial fluid. A finger-activated pump assembly is mounted to the frame proximate to the receptacle and engages an extraction port in the cartridge for extracting antibacterial fluid. The pump assembly further defines a nozzle port for dispensing the antibacterial fluid therethrough by activation of a piston of the pump assembly being mounted in a housing of the pump assembly and movable between raised and depressed positions. The pump assembly also includes a spring biasing the piston to the raised position and a conduit extending in the cartridge to the extraction port thereof. The conduit, housing, and piston define a fluid pathway between the cartridge and nozzle port. A wristband extends from each side of the frame for securing about an arm of a user.

  • Patent number: 9821127
Abstract: A child-resistant closure system for a container comprises a protective cap, a dispensing tip, and a cylindrical base. The dispensing tip includes a pair of buttons adapted to control whether the dispensing tip is in a locked condition so as to prevent actuation or an unlocked condition so as to permit actuation, via the shoulders, of a sprayer pump unit that is partially contained within the dispensing tip. The cylindrical base has a pair of spaced apart upwardly extending legs. In an locked condition of the dispensing tip, the upwardly extending legs are not aligned with slots defined in a horizontal circumferential portion of the dispensing tip such that downward movement of the dispensing tip in relation to the base is blocked by the upwardly extending legs to prohibit actuation of the sprayer pump unit and to lock the dispensing tip.

  • Patent number: 9681731
Abstract: A rotary dispenser-type cosmetics container in which, when a button part rotates, guide protrusions move along a bottom surface of a pumping guide formed on an inner peripheral surface of the button part and then an ascending and descending member ascends and descends, whereby a pumping action is conducted. Therefore, the container discharges contents in a fixed state in which the height of the button part is not changed, and is thereby capable of preventing contents from unnecessarily leaking due to pressing a button by an external pressure.

  • Patent number: 9480802
Abstract: A child-resistant closure system for a pump sprayer comprises a cap, a dispensing tip configured to receive the cap thereon, and a base secured to the dispensing tip and secured to a dispenser bottle. The tip has a slot defined therein that comprises a wider insertion/removal portion for inserting or removing a downwardly extending leg and a narrower locking portion for engaging the leg to lock the cap to the dispensing tip. The cap is selectively secured to the dispensing dip by rotating the cap such that the leg moves from the wider portion of the slot to the narrower portion of the slot, such that the narrower portion of the slot engages leg. The leg extends downward through the slot to contact the top of the base so as to allow for the sprayer pump unit to be locked out from operation.

  • Patent number: 9308541
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to improve a pump-dispensing container structured to prevent leakage of liquid caused by slight vertical movements of the nozzle head, to make it easier to push out the liquid when the nozzle head is pressed down first from its highest position. If a primary check valve is configured to open the connection between the inside of the liquid chamber and the inside of the container body in a state in which the liquid chamber is filled with a liquid and the nozzle head is raised to its highest position, when the nozzle head is pressed down from its highest position to push out the liquid, resistance met during the pressing down of the nozzle head is significantly reduced because of the open connection between the inside of the liquid chamber and the inside of the container body, and the liquid can be pushed out easily by applying a small force.
