Fluid Pressure Generating Pump Or Pulsator And/or Removable Flexible Wall Closures Patents (Class 222/209)
  • Patent number: 8302817
Abstract: A fluid dispenser is disclosed having a storage chamber for storing a liquid, a collection assembly for collecting a portion of liquid, a pump assembly, and a tube extending from within the storage chamber to within the collection chamber through which the portion of liquid is pumped into the collection assembly. The pump assembly includes one or more pump actuators, and the fluid dispenser may have multiple storage chambers, each having a corresponding tube. In addition, the fluid dispenser may have multiple collection chambers. The pump actuators may be, for example, a flexible diaphragm or a trigger-actuated pump mounted on the side of the fluid dispenser. The pump mechanism may be incorporated into the capillary, and it may be, for example, a piston pump or any other type of pump known in the art.

Abstract: A container body (11) is provided with a squeeze operating portion (13a) between a shoulder portion (15) and a bottom portion (14), the squeeze operating portion including a squeeze face portion (16) opposed to a squeeze direction X, a pair of lateral support wall portions (17) arranged along the squeeze direction X at both side sections of the squeeze face portion (16), and inclined linking face portions (18) arranged as being inclined therebetween. When the squeeze face portion (16) is compressed to the squeeze direction x, the inclined linking face portions (18) expand distance between the pair of lateral support wall portions (17) at both sides as deforming along the squeeze face portion (16) from an inclined state against the squeeze face portion (16). The inclined linking face portions (18) are restricted so as not to be flipped in the squeeze direction (x) side after deformation completes as expansion force vanishes, so that constant quantity of content liquid is discharged.

Abstract: A dispenser for hair building solids can be readily operated and aimed with one hand. A bulb that provides air for suspending the solids is located directly on top of a dispenser body. The bulb can be depressed by a single finger when the device is held in one hand. When the compressed air exits the bulb, it follows a direct straight downward pathway to the surface of the hair building solids. Air exiting the bulb passes through an air injecting orifice that is directed towards the surface of a mass of hair building solids suspending the solids within the turbulently pressurized container, which solids are then directed smoothly by the domed undersurface of the dispenser body into the straight bore of a short nozzle. The path followed by the solids is without bends thereby avoiding clogging.

Abstract: Described is a plastic bottle fitted with a one-way check valve and an inner bladder containing a substance such as mustard or ketchup. When squeezed, the substance is dispensed from an inner bladder through an aperture in the top. When released, air is allowed into the bottle through the valve to displace the substance dispensed. Since the valve will not allow air out of the bottle, the bladder continuously shrinks until all the substance is dispensed without any waste or the need to strike the bottle or store it upside down. No air comes into contact with the substance thus avoiding bacterial contamination.
