Abstract: A coffee dispenser particularly constructed to measure and dispense finely ground powdered coffee by providing an agitator for the lower portion of the hopper including an agitator portion moving through the discharge opening of the hopper to positively prevent bridging and clogging of the powdered coffee in the bottom portion of the hopper.
Abstract: A conveying device is provided in a chamber (16) for conveying articles from an inlet (15) to an outlet (20). The device comprises a base support (53) upon which articles rest and an inclined side support (54). Both supports (53, 54) are movable relative to end walls (42, 43) of the chamber (16) and relative to each other to move articles towards the outlet (20) and then to create a void adjacent the inlet (15).
Abstract: An ice dispenser comprising a housing for receipt of a plurality of pieces of ice, an outlet from the dispenser and a dispensing structure movable between a first location wherein the structure communicates with the housing and a second location wherein the structure communicates with the outlet, wherein movement of the dispensing structure from the first location to the second location causes a piece of ice received in the housing to be dispensed from the outlet.
Abstract: A powder feeding apparatus comprising a powder storage receptacle for defining a space to hold a powder and a metering chamber disposed beneath the holding space for receiving the powder flowing from the holding space. The powder is metered in the metering chamber and discharged. The apparatus includes a metering section having a metering space for defining the metering chamber and a metering adjusting member disposed slidably in the metering space of the metering section. The volume of the metering chamber is adjusted by sliding the metering adjustment member.
Abstract: A miniaturized microwave transmission link comprises short links of dielectric coated fine wire overlying a ground plane between signal coupling/launching pins of MICs. A dielectric cap is provided at each wire-pin termination and a layer of conductive foil is pressed onto the overall structure to form a conformal tunnel/channel microwave transmission line configuration. The resulting tunneline, and/or channeline transmission line structure may connect MICs in a compact housing or provide access from external terminals to leads in a IC chip.

Abstract: A toner dispensing device for use in a developing apparatus of an electrophotographic copying machine. The device includes a toner tank mounted on the developing apparatus, a horizontal slit formed at a lower portion of the toner tank, a toner supplying plate which is adapted to reciprocate through the slit for supplying toner at constantly uniform rates from a plurality of openings formed in the same plate, and a stabilizing plate pivotally disposed in the toner tank for dividing the toner tank into upper and lower portions. When the toner supplying plate strikes in its return motion against the stabilizing plate, a predetermined amount of toner is supplied from the upper portion into the lower portion through openings formed in the stabilizing plate for maintaining a predetermined amount of toner in the lower portion at a uniform density.
Abstract: A food dispenser including a relatively large hopper for holding a supply of dry or granular type food, and a downwardly tapering section leading to a manually movable control door which dispenses a predetermined quantity of the food. Attached to the control door, and actuated thereby, are a plurality of intermeshing pegs, movable in the tapering section, to break up dry products which have a tendency to stick or pack together, thereby always assuring that the control door will dispense an accurate amount.
