Interconnected Radially Movable Adjusting Means For Plural Rotor Projection Or Traps Patents (Class 222/292)
  • Patent number: 7559442
Abstract: A laundry soap dispensing apparatus includes a housing that has a back wall, a bottom wall, a front wall, a first side wall and a second side wall. The front wall has a cup opening therein positioned adjacent to the bottom wall and configured for receiving a cup. A trough is mounted within the housing and has a pour opening therein directed toward the bottom wall and a cup extended through the cup opening. Soap poured into the housing is directed into the trough and toward the pour opening. A measuring assembly is mounted in the housing and is in fluid communication with the pour opening. The measuring assembly is configured to dispense one of a plurality of selectable amounts of laundry soap into the cup. Laundry soap positioned within the trough may be poured into the cup by actuating the measuring assembly.

  • Patent number: 6913447
Abstract: A metering pump includes an actuating mechanism, and a plurality of piston cylinders coupled to the actuating mechanism. A first of the cylinders has a working volume that differs from a second of the cylinders. The actuating member is centrally located and the cylinders are arranged radially about the actuating mechanism. The working volume of the cylinders can be varied by adjusting the spacing of the cylinders from the actuating mechanism, thus varying the stroke of pistons housed within the cylinders, and/or by providing the cylinders with different inner diameters. A method of metering fluids includes independently adjusting stroke of a plurality of pistons to adjust the volume of metered fluid, and selecting different cylinder diameters to adjust the volume of metered fluid.

  • Patent number: 4684040
Abstract: A rotary volumetric piston dispenser is provided which receives material from a manifold assembly, portions that material while it traverses a path to a dispensing location, and dispenses the portioned material at the dispensing location. The rotary volumetric piston dispenser is suitable for timed communication with a movable belt or the like in order to deposit the portioned material according to a predetermined sequence. A camming assembly is also provided which is suitable for use within the rotary volumetric piston dispenser, the camming assembly including a cam track assembly having an adjustable camming pathway in order to vary the radial position of a radially movable element such as a piston while the element moves in a pattern that generally corresponds to the cam track assembly. The rotary volumetric piston dispenser is especially suitable for use in dispensing condiments, whether they be wet or dry, onto a moving surface, such as a plurality of proteinaceous patties spaced along a conveyor belt.

  • Patent number: 4503995
Abstract: A positive-displacement volumetric metering depositor particularly but not exclusively useful in food production equipment has a continuously-rotating cylinder with a diametrically-disposed metering piston or plunger having the general form of an elongated, relatively narrow rectangular geometric solid of a desired height which moves cyclically across the diametral cylinder passage during its rotation to receive a measured volume of media at the top of cylinder rotation and discharge such volume at the bottom of cylinder rotation. Cams and cam followers control such cyclic piston movement, and are adjustable to vary the volume of the measured charge by changing the relative positions of a pair of complementary component piston parts together defining the composite metering piston.
