Abstract: A liftable keyboard for a portable electronic device is provided. The portable electronic device includes a top cover and a base. The liftable keyboard includes at least one key unit, a membrane switch circuit layer and a micro pump. Each key unit includes a keycap and an elastomer. When a sensing element within the base of the portable electronic device senses that the top cover is close to the base, the micro pump is enabled to perform a gas-extracting action. Consequently, the gas in the elastomeric chamber is extracted so that the elastomer is subjected to compressed deformation. The keycap is moved downwardly in response to the compressed deformation of the elastomer so as to reduce an altitude of the at least one key unit.

  • Patent number: 8770439
Abstract: Method and device for discharging a fixed amount of liquid which enables to dispense a liquid material with a higher accuracy. The device includes: a decompression valve for reducing the pressure of a compressed gas supplied; a discharging valve for controlling the flow rate of the gas decompressed at the decompression valve; a liquid storing container for discharging liquid from a nozzle by the gas supplied via the discharging valve; and a buffer tank between the decompression valve and the discharging valve that has a volume greater than the volume of the liquid storage container. The invention suppresses the pressure reduction that occurs in the flow path for supplying the compressed gas to the liquid storage container during the operation of the decompression valve by making the flow resistance between the buffer tank and the storage container greater than that between the buffer tank and the decompression valve.

  • Patent number: 8763865
Abstract: A novel metering device (1) for dispensing a dose of a pressurized fluid is described. A dispensing valve body (3) is mounted in a fluid-tight manner to the lid (4) of a pressurized container (5), which circumvents a valve element (9). A valve delivery tube (10) is connected to the valve element (9). A chamber (13) surrounds the valve body (3), in which a piston (17) is reciprocable between an upper and a lower position, which define the dispensing dose. • Patent number: 8757446
Abstract: A fluid supplying device of the present invention includes a reservoir, an outer tube, an inner tube disposed in the outer tube, a pressing rod, and a positioning handle. The outer tube disposed in the reservoir and is partially exposed outside the reservoir. The pressing rod is slidably disposed in the inner tube. The positioning handle is pivotably disposed to the reservoir and is able to altervatively abut against the pressing rod to prevent the pressing rod from moving. The reservoir forms a relief hole, and the positioning handle forms a through hole. When the pressing rod is restricted by the positioning handle, the relief hole is deviated from the through hole, and vice versa. Thereby, the present invention can prevent gas-leakage and prevent the pressing rod from bouncing up.
