Patent number: 8925768Abstract: Spill and contaminant resistant dispensers and measuring cap devices and methods for measuring and dispensing a desired amount of a bulk particulate, powdery, granular or viscous liquid substance from a storage container through a cap or a dispenser are provided. A dispenser and measuring cap is attached to a storage container or comprises an integral storage container. The dispenser and measuring cap has one or more measuring chamber ducts, each having a different predetermined volume. The measuring chamber ducts are selectively and separately operationally aligned with an internal funnel stem and a dispensing spout. A selected measuring chamber duct is filled with the substance by inverting the cap and attached container. A measured amount of the substance is captured and dispensed, and the unused portion of the substance retained in the storage container without exposure to outside contaminants or implements, by rotating the duct into operational alignment with the spout.Type: GrantFiled: March 20, 2014Date of Patent: January 6, 2015Inventor: Muhammad Sami Ismail

Patent number: 7279135Abstract: A probe for providing micro liquid drops including a main rod, a limiting portion and a probe tip portion is disclosed. At least one guiding flow way and several storing recesses are disposed on the conical outer surface of the probe tip portion. Each storing recess has a volume that is larger than the volume of the guiding flow way. Also, under the gravity and capillarity effect, the output speed is controlled by the number, size and shape of the guiding flow ways and the storing recesses so that each probe structure is strong, the liquid storing capacity is high, its liquid output is stable, it is easier to manufacture the guiding flow ways, and it is easy to clean.Type: GrantFiled: May 10, 2004Date of Patent: October 9, 2007Assignees: Taiwan Micro System Co., Ltd.Inventors: Chia-Lung Kuo, Jr Shiang You, Yu Long Huang, Ching-Yi Wu

Patent number: 4006842Abstract: A measuring and dispensing device for granular material has a container for the material with an outlet at the bottom and a plurality of dispensing compartments open at top and bottom fixed at the outlet. A barrier member and a closure member are reciprocable in unison across the tops and bottoms respectively of the compartments so that on movement of the members in one direction the barrier member closes the top of each successive compartment before the closure member closes its bottom, and on movement thereof in the opposite direction the closure member opens the bottom of each successive compartment before the barrier member opens its top. Control means are provided accessible from the exterior for selectively stopping the movement of the members at each position of respective registry with the successive compartments. The device can be adjusted to selectively fill and then dispense the compartments maintained normally empty, or to selectively dispense the compartments maintained normally full.Type: GrantFiled: September 18, 1975Date of Patent: February 8, 1977Inventor: Anthony L.
