  • Patent number: 10059501
Abstract: The quick penetration bottle having high heat transfer rate has a tip, base, body, shoulder, neck, mouth and cap. The small frontal surface area of the tip allows a user to apply a minimal amount of force to the bottle to create a large amount of pressure to penetrate a medium, such as ice, and the sloped face of the base directs the medium around the body. The material used is thermally conductive and the shape of the bottle achieves a high rate of heat transfer due to the high surface area to volume ratio. The cap has low thermal conductivity minimizing the rate of heat transfer through the cap. The base and body of the bottle is submerged into a medium with a lower temperature with only the cap exposed to the environment allowing the thermal properties of the bottle to reduce the temperature of the contents within.

  • Patent number: 9586800
Abstract: A dispensing funnel. The dispensing funnel and system comprise a generally trapezoidal hopper having an open slot along its bottom lip. Attached to the upper by of the hopper is a handle having an upper handle and side handle with a push button. The push button moves an actuating arm that covers the opening slot of the hopper through the use of a rod, spring stop, spring, and spring plate. A lower bracket having guard walls and funnel mounts is placed between the handle and the hopper that helps guide the actuating arm when in use. The dispensing funnel can be used in a method to cook by filling the hopper with a foodstuff, preferably grits, pushing the push button to allow a portion to escape the hopper into boiling water, and releasing the push button to prevent further foodstuff to exit the hopper. This allows for the controlled cooking of grits which prevents clumping and well as allows for more controlled cooking of foodstuff that require extra attention.

A battery is contained within the body. A switch within the body is actuated by this trigger. Circuitry connects the battery, switch, and pump in series. A passive check valve member normally closes the passageway preventing fluid flow from the container into the body and is displaceable to permit air flow into the container.

Abstract: A fuel container having novel dispensing devices is disclosed. A hose or spout is fitted with a funnel, both being sufficiently clear to permit the visual detection of the free surface of the fuel within. At the juncture between the spout and the funnel, a valve is provided. The valve is thumb operated, so only one hand is required to open and close the valve. A carrying strap and a handle help make the fuel container portable. A window strip in the fuel container permits the user to observe the level of the fuel within.

Abstract: A hand-held fluid dispenser having an enclosure for supporting a container holding a fluid to be dispensed, and a method of operating such hand-held fluid dispensers. A first proximity sensor is located inside the enclosure immediately adjacent one side of the enclosure, and a second proximity sensor is located inside the enclosure immediately adjacent an opposite side of the enclosure. An actuation circuit is supported inside the enclosure and is electrically connected to the first and second proximity sensors. The actuation circuit produces an actuation signal in response to detecting opposed digits of an operator being simultaneously in close proximity to the first and second proximity sensors.
