Abstract: The spray mop includes a handle having a mop head at its lower end and a grip at its upper end. The mop includes a receiver adapted to hold an inverted bottle of cleaning solution, as sold at retail with an attached sprayer. The mop includes an adapter that is screwed onto the bottle of cleaning solution after the original sprayer is removed, whereby the bottle of cleaning solution can be inverted and inserted into the receiver. A spring-loaded retainer securely holds the bottle of cleaning solution in the receiver so that if the mop is dropped, inverted, or bumped there will be no leakage, while a trigger on a handgrip at the upper portion of the mop handle activates a valve in the adapter whereby cleaning solution is dispensed through a spray nozzle at the lower portion of the receiver.

Abstract: A nozzle assembly for a portable fuel can has the following. A cap provision for generally sealing vapors inside a contained volume inside the combined nozzle assembly and portable fuel can. A spout to dispense liquid fuel. A main valve for the liquid fuel which automatically closes in the absence of manual operation. A manual operator for manually and selectively opening the main valve. Porting providing vacuum venting whereby gases are admitted into the contained volume as the liquid fuel level pours out of the can, whereby the vacuum venting allows for gaseous exchange between the can as liquid fuel empties therefrom and the target container liquid-fuel fills in and flushes out gases due to the rising fuel level therein. Wherein the vacuum venting comprising and intake port disposed to provide automatic overflow cutoff. At least one over-pressurization relief break, and at least one under-pressurization relief break.

  • Patent number: 8561858
Abstract: The pouring spout includes a first tube detachably connectable to a liquid-storage container, a second tube slideably connected to the first tube, and a liquid outlet duct and an air inlet duct. The liquid outlet duct and the air inlet duct can be both selectively opened and closed by a spring-biased valve system. The air inlet duct, when the valve system is moved from a closed position to an opened position, is initially made in fluid communication with the liquid-storage container only either simultaneously with the liquid outlet duct or immediately after the liquid outlet duct is initially made in fluid communication with the liquid-storage container. This arrangement prevents the liquid from filling the air inlet duct when the liquid is poured using the pouring spout. It also minimizes evaporation and permeability of the liquid on internal surfaces inside the pouring spout.

  • Patent number: 8517216
Abstract: A container dispensing device is provided having a storage mode and a dispensing mode. A pouring spout includes threaded first and second ends and functions at all times inside both a draw sleeve having a corresponding interior engaging mechanism. The draw sleeve is positioned directly above an exterior threaded upper extension of the first cap, which remains attached at all times to the container by a first engaging mechanism. A second cap is provided to cover the second end of the spout and secure the spout to the first cap. To convert the dispensing device from the storage mode to the dispensing mode, a user unscrews the second cap from the first cap, draws the spout from the container, and tightens the draw sleeve to engage the threaded first end of the spout with the corresponding interior engaging mechanism of the draw sleeve.
