Abstract: An insulated container having a pump for generating air pressure over the liquid in the container so as to selectively dispense it. A valve arrangement is incorporated that prevents inadvertent displacement of the liquid from the container if the pump is accidentally actuated. The valve arrangement prevents discharge of liquid from the discharge spout and also prevents the transmission of air pressure from the pump to the area in the container over the liquid.

Abstract: A variable volume dispenser of the type wherein squeezing a manually deformable bottle forces liquid from the bottle up through a dispenser tube and into a measuring chamber. An axially movable closure, captured within the outlet end of the dispenser tube is pushed or pulled to snap open or snap close the outlet end.

Abstract: A disposable squeezable dispenser employing a flexible container filled with a mixture of air and the liquid to be dispensed. The dispenser employes only two main parts (other than the container itself) plus a ball and dip tube. One of the main parts is a hollow pull top which cooperates with the other main part in a sealing operation which prevents leakage when the dispenser is not in use.

Abstract: A serum separation and dispensing device comprises two containers one movably mounted partially within the other, the end wall of one being sealed, in the contracted position, against the open end of the other, to hold a vacuum prior to drawing blood into the device.

Abstract: A container closure construction comprises a container which has an externally threaded neck portion, with a top opening and with a rim encircling the opening and with a cap bead receiving recess defined below the rim around the exterior of the neck portion. The closure includes an inner closure cap having a cap part which overlies the container opening and an annular side skirt portion which is engaged around the exterior of the container neck portion, and which includes an inwardly extending cap bead engaged in a cap receiving recess of the container. A hollow central part extends through this cap part which goes above the exterior face and below the interior face and it defines an opening therethrough. An outer cover has an internally threaded outer cover skirt part which threadably engages with the externally threaded neck portion of the container.

Abstract: Wine or other beverage receptacle comprising a flexible container of sheet-like material having affixed thereto a valve which is capable of puncturing the sheet to provide an outlet, together with a rigid or semi-rigid support having an opening to receive and support the valve and to support the container and its contents in upright position for display and dispensing.
