Abstract: The invention comprises a seed spreader having a cylindrical drum mounted upon a pair of wheels for traviling the drum along the wheels for distributing seed along path upon the ground. The drum rotates with the wheels as the wheels rotate along the ground as an operator pushes the wheels forward by a handle mounted to the drum. The drum is hollow and has a door which can be opened to enable seed to be deposited into the interior of the drum.

Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing particulate cleaning material onto a floor surface includes a hopper holding the particulate material and a dispensing aperture extending across the hopper through which the material may be dispensed. A separator, which may for example be a wire, is located adjacent the dispensing aperture for separating the particulate cleaning material at the aperture. The wire helps to break up clumps of particulate cleaning material which may form. In use, a plate is vibrated to impart motion to the particulate material in the hopper. The wire can be carried by the plate or by the hopper and is preferably held under tension.

Abstract: A vehicle-mounted spreading apparatus includes a container for the material to be spread, at least one spreading disc rotatable about a vertical axis and a dosing device for conveying material from the container to the spreading disc as the vehicle moves along the ground. The disc and the dosing device are powered from a driving wheel which can be lowered into driving contact with the ground. The driving wheel conveys power to a mechanical power transfer assembly which drives the dosing device and which drives an adjustable speed motor system for the spreading disc.
Abstract: A machine (FIG. 1) for dispensing seed and fertilizers, which is equipped with two hoppers one for the seed, and the other for the fertilizer. The materials flowing from outlet apertures of the hoppers while the machine is in operation are introduced into the soil in controlled amounts through proportioning means, chutes and tubes which discharge into hoes. The proportioning means have a plurality of feed wheels disposed on shafts and are driven by a ground-dependent power source.
