  • Patent number: 4615488
Abstract: A generally cylindrical nozzle assembly having several relatively rotatable cylindrical members directs water streams in different directions in response to manual rotation of these members and fits on a water gun to provide modes of operation including the forward, sideward and backward discharge of streams of water. A rotatable cap has a plurality of orifices for alignment with passageways transmitting water streams as the rotatable members are relatively positioned manually to discharge water pumped from an attached water gun in different directions.

  • Patent number: 4597527
Abstract: A toy water shooting gun for shooting water in a plurality of directions with respect to the axis of the gun. The toy water gun is operable by a plunger/piston rod movable within a water storage cylinder. A cap having a plurality of apertures is located at the discharge end of the water gun and is rotatable to operate a valve to selectively align the apertures with the water cylinder for discharge therethrough. The apertures when in communication with the water cylinder discharge water in different directions, i.e., forward, rearward and sideways.

  • Patent number: 4591071
Abstract: A toy squirt gun which shoots a continuous high velocity stream of water. The squirt gun is configured as a structure facilitating partial filling with water leaving a void for compressed air. The squirt gun includes a nozzle for ejecting water at high velocity, a pressurization pump for compressing air into the gun to pressurize water contained therein, and a trigger actuated flow control valve for shooting the gun by controlling flow of pressurized water through the nozzle. A battery-powered oscillator circuit and a water flow powered sound generator produce futuristic space ray gun sound effects when the gun is shooting.

  • Patent number: 4492318
Abstract: A jet of water is emitted in known toy water pistols through the muzzle of the barrel, and accordingly people thus know as to who is a potential target by simply observing the direction the gun is pointed. A toy water pistol in accordance with the invention comprises a hollow body in the shape of a gun having a simulated muzzle through which it can be assumed that a jet of water will issue. Mounted above the gun barrel is the actual water outlet which is formed in the cylindrical wall of a round knob like member mounted so as to be capable of rotation through 360.degree. whereby the user can turn the knob to place the outlet in any desired or arbitrary orientation relative the barrel and simulated muzzle, so that in use a jet of water is emitted in a direction which is not obvious to people who are potential targets.

  • Patent number: 4334383
Abstract: Water sprinkling toy pistol of the type which comprises a water magazine for insertion into the pistol grip. The water magazine is in communication with means for ejecting a sprinkle of water through the pistol barrel. Overlying the magazine is a reservoir for containing a liquid producing bubbles of the type of soap bubbles, wherein a bubble blowing ring is immersed. The bubble blowing ring can be raised from the reservoir, through supporting means guided inside the pistol grip, to delivery bubbles in the direction of the piston barrel.

  • Patent number: 4316338
Abstract: A handheld firearm such as a standard revolver adapted to dispense a debilitating chemical substance through the butt end, whereby in the shank there is a fixed or detachably mounted butt end comprising a reservoir of the debilitating chemical, such as Chemical Mace or teargas, under pressure. Valve means for dispensing the repellant is actuated by depression of a button located on the detachably mounted butt end portion of the shank, below and out of the way of the hand grip, for operation by the last digit. The presence of the reservoir of the repellant as the mounted butt end of the shank portion of the gun allows for operation without interference with a strong hand grip, avoids accidental lethal firing of the weapon, when detachably mounted permits fast recharging in the event the reservoir is depleted or in the event that there is a mechanical failure of the discharge system.

  • Patent number: 4214674
Abstract: A toy water gun assembly capable of ejecting water in bursts or in a continuous manner, is disclosed. A separate, pressurizable water container is connected by a flexible hose, to a pistal shaped member. A section of the flexible hose, mounted in the pistol shaped member, is continuously clamped by a lever. A spring biases the lever to prevent the release of a water stream through a nozzle which is mounted on the front of the pistol shaped member. A trigger member having a pointed pawl pivotably mounted thereto, is operatively connected to the lever. An initial movement of the pawl member caused by a quick pull on the trigger member momentarily removes the lever from its position clamping the hose. Additional movement of the pawl causes it to slide off the lever, thereby allowing the lever to return to its regular position wherein the hose is clamped.

  • Patent number: 4209113
Abstract: A toy liquid ejecting device includes a refillable liquid supply reservoir which is connected to a discharge chamber by a gravity operated check valve. A selectively operable actuator pressurizes fluid within the discharge chamber to effect a pressurized liquid stream discharge to the atmosphere. A spring actuated check valve in the discharge path closes to permit refilling of the discharge chamber during recycling of the actuator. The enclosure for the device is formed and sized to resemble a futuristic device, such as a laser weapon, and includes a mounting bracket for detachably mounting the device on the handle bars of a bicycle or other vehicle.

  • Patent number: 4058921
Abstract: A handheld firearm such as a standard revolver is adapted to dispense a debilitating chemical substance through the butt end. Accordingly, modification in the hollow shank of a revolver between the paired wooden grips has mounted therein a small cannister of a debilitating chemical, such as Chemical Mace or teargas, under pressure. The cannister includes a valve and a nozzle at the open end which points through an aperture in the butt end of the shank and is reciprocally movable towards and away from the aperture in the shank. The grip is modified with an aperture which is recessed from the normal handling surface of the weapon. The recessed aperture is positioned under preferably the second or third finger and may be actuated by the digit moving inwardly to depress a reciprocating spring-loaded button in the indentation. Upon depression of the button, the cannister is moved towards the butt end to operate the nozzle causing the chemical to be discharged.
