Abstract: A toothpaste and toothbrush holder assembly for storing a toothpaste tube and a pair of toothbrushes includes a base that can be positioned on a support surface. A mating unit is integrated into the base to engage the support surface thereby inhibiting the base from moving on the support surface. A stand is removably attachable to the base and the stand has a pair of supports each is integrated therein to store a toothbrush. A cylinder is provided that has a channel extending therethrough for having a closed end of a toothpaste tube inserted therein. A shaft is rotatably integrated into the cylinder to receive the closed end of the toothpaste tube. A knob is coupled to the shaft and the knob can be gripped by a user for rolling the toothpaste tube around the shaft.

Abstract: A container for dispensing a flowable material includes a body member having a neck portion containing an opening for dispensing the flowable material, a collapsible mid portion adjacent the neck portion, and a non-collapsible tail portion adjacent the mid portion that serves as a blade for smoothing the flowable material after the flowable material has been dispensed from the container. Also disclosed is such a container having a cap and an abrasive assembly including a lid and an abrasive element for sanding the hardened material.

Abstract: The invention provides a housing adapted to provide for the juxtaposition of an oral hygiene device, such as a toothbrush, with an inhaler medication device, such as a metered dose inhaler (MDI) or dry powder inhaler (DPI). Also provided is an assembly including a housing, an oral hygiene device and an inhaler medication device wherein, in use, the housing and inhaler medication device together secure the oral hygiene device in the housing such that the oral hygiene device cannot be removed for use without first removing the inhaler medication device.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a system for simultaneously dispensing liquids from multiple sources, wherein the liquids are released through a single spout and are mixed together during the dispensing process. The disclosure further discloses an adaptor that has a dispensing aperture, a body, and first and second members that actuate the spouts substantially simultaneously to allow fluid flow between the first and second liquid sources and the first and second tap spouts through the adaptor body and out the dispensing aperture, which may have a spout. The invention also relates to a method for simultaneous dispensing and mixing of liquids. The liquids may have substantially the same or substantially different viscosities and may be mixed in equal or different volumes. The invention has particular applicability to bag-in-box systems.

Abstract: The present invention provides pharmaceutical compositions comprising azelastine, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof including azelastine hydrochloride, and optionally one or more additional active agents. Preferred such compositions further comprise one or more pharmaceutically acceptable carriers or excipients that reduce the amount of post-nasal drip, and/or that minimize or mask the unpleasant bitter taste associated with post-nasal drip, of the compositions into the oral cavity, upon intranasal or ocular administration of the compositions. Especially effective excipients used in the compositions of the present invention are hypromellose as a viscosity modifier and sucralose as a taste-masking agent.

Abstract: A device for use in dispensing the contents of a collapsible tube comprises a hollow cylindrical member for winding about the tube. The cylindrical member includes an elongated slot for receiving a tail portion of the collapsible tube, as well as a plurality of notches positioned along a periphery of a first end of the cylindrical member. An elastic flexible tether anchors to a second end of the cylindrical member. The tether is positionable between at least one of the plurality of notches contained within the first end of the cylindrical member. After winding, the tether is stretched and positioned between a selected notch, thereby securing the tether to the first end of the cylindrical member and retaining the thusly wound tube in a selected position. The hollow cylinder may also include a floss dispensing member positionable therein, as well as act as a storage compartment.

Abstract: A multipurpose dispenser having a container body adapted to removably retain a plurality of product containers within the container body is disclosed. The dispenser includes a plurality of dispensing devices coupled to the container body. The dispensing devices are adapted for dispensing products from the product containers removably retained within the container body. The dispensing devices include dispensing actuators and nozzles. The dispensing actuators activate dispensing of products through the nozzles for use of the products.

Abstract: A kit of parts for use in the manufacture of a particle cassette for a needleless syringe device. The kit may include a first cassette part having a first rupturable membrane sealed thereto and a second cassette part having a second rupturable membrane sealed thereto. The first and second cassette parts may be arranged to be attachable together so as to create a chamber for the confinement of particles between the first and second membranes. The first and second cassette parts may be substantially annular and the first cassette part defines a receptacle for receiving particles. The second cassette part may be attachable concentrically around or inside the first cassette part.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for dispensing toothpaste is disclosed herein whereby a user may depress a depressor to extract a pre-determined quantity of toothpaste from a tube of toothpaste. The present invention includes a toothpaste dispenser body forming a radius resiliently and integrally securing together a substantially flat first coextensive member and a substantially flat second coextensive member. The second coextensive member may comprise a downward first curvature towards the first coextensive member and an upward second curvature away from the first coextensive member. The second coextensive member comprises a depressor comprising resilient material. The radius may be used to contain and roll the portion of the toothpaste tube that has been evacuated of toothpaste, thereby allowing the second coextensive member to remain in contact with the filled portion of the toothpaste tube.

Abstract: An infant feeding system includes a spoon assembly with a scoop and a mount attached to and extending away from the mount. The mount has a distal end with respect to the scoop. An aperture extends into the distal end and into the scoop so that fluid flowing into the aperture is captured by the scoop. A tube has a nozzle thereon extendable in and fluidly couplable with the aperture. The tube has food therein so that food from the tube is ejected onto the scoop when the tube is squeezed.

A plurality of moveable front members are adapted to move up or down between an opposite pair of sidewalls to retain an upper portion of the tube in position. An open top allows easy tube insertion or removal while a lower shelf retains the bottom of each tube. A bottom strip ensures that each tube will remain in position. According to a first modification, the interior sidewalls are adjustable to accommodate a variable spacing between them. Modified moveable front members include a variable width to accommodate the variable spacing between the adjustable interior sidewalls. According to a second modification, each tube is retained by a pair of curved side members that narrow toward the bottom of each compartment. An apparatus to secure a tube in an inverted position and to dispense a substance from a bottom opening is described.

Supply of fluid under pressure forms a pressure differential between opposite ends of the container and enables the fine particulate matter to enter the first and second passage for mixing with the fluid.

The tube and mechanism are enclosed in a cover, with the cover including a rack for holding toothbrushes and a receptacle for holding a small packet of dental floss. The cover may be provided with any form of complementary or contrasting decor or pattern, as desired.

The at least one holding arm is rotateably attached to an inner flange of the outer case and the cover ring which is fixedly attached to the outer case. The actuator ring is engaged with the at least one holding arm and the dial. The dial is rotateably coupled to the outer casing and rotates relative to said casing about the case axis. With engagement of the dial to the actuator ring, and engagement of the actuator ring to the at least one holding arm, rotation of the dial affords for the extension and/or retraction of the holding arm towards or away from the case axis. In this manner, an adjustable beverage container holder is provided.

A spool of floss may be placed on the cylindrical protrusion for rotation and dispensing. A cover may be attached to the housing by a first hinge. The cover preferably comprises a notch opening for the dental floss to pass through and a metal cutting member such as a lance mounted to the cover. A lid may be attached to the cover by a second hinge. The lid can be opened and closed to access the dental floss and protect it from contamination when not in use as desired.

One or more open-ended slits allow the handle portion to be easily slipped onto the free end of a tube or to be slipped back onto an already curled tube for further ease of manipulation. The toothbrush easily slips off the tube after curling with it, so as to allow the toothbrush to be used for brushing teeth, and allows its use on a plurality of collapsible tubes in various stages of use. The brush head portion can be made detachable so that other attachments made be attached to the handle portion or so that a winding tool remains after the toothbrush head is rendered no longer usable.

A holder is mounted to the outer component of the pump for detachably housing at least one oral hygiene or personal care tool. Such tool may be a dental floss dispenser and/or toothbrushes. Preferably, a cover is mounted over the top of the dispenser to provide sanitary protection for the dispenser and the personal care tools and to function as a cup as well as enhancing the aesthetic appearance of the assembly.

Removable #13 lid covers the soap receptable area. Lid #3 also covers, from above, the recessed sponge caddy area. When a sponge #9 or other cleaning pad is placed in the sponge caddy area, it is hidden from view from the front, from above, and from the left and right sides. The recessed sponge caddy area receives, organizes, holds and stores a kitchen sponge #9 or other cleaning pad, hidden from view as described above, and is accessible from the rear of container #1 thus a sponge #9 can easily be placed for storage and retrieved for use.

The squeegee carriage is mounted for movement from an initial, upper position downwardly along the support plate to a lower position. The squeegee is adapted to press the flexible viscous liquid containing bag against the support plate to squeeze the viscous liquid from the dispensing opening. A flexible bag for use with the dispenser is also provided.

Abstract: A pill dispenser that is disposed in a handle of a toothbrush includes an auger mechanism constructed so that one complete turn of a dispensing knob causes the dispenser to eject a single pill from a port. The dispensing knob includes a safety mechanism that requires the knob to be pushed inward to engage the auger mechanism. The housing of the device, the toothbrush handle, is constructed so as to be waterproof so that no water is introduced to the pills in the dispenser. The ejection port is sealed so that there is no water introduction through the port. In addition, there is a labelling means provided so that the user can easily track the daily ingestion of the pills.

Said attachment comprising a base plate (3), which preferably is designed as a lid, which fits onto the working container. The side edges (6, 7) of said tapered section being connected to one another at said point (8) via a suitable rounded section. Abstract: A multi-functional material dispensing system comprising in general a container, a discharge unit for discharging material and a support frame to hold the container and discharge unit upright. The container and discharge unit are removably attached to the support frame. A disposable filling device, in the form of a flexible funnel, is removably attached to the container. Flow control is metered through the discharge unit by opening a clamping device varied amounts. A gripper allows the container to be closed when the container is not on the support frame. An auxiliary support is also provided having a holder for the filling device, a cleaning unit, a holder for the cleaning unit and holders for various accessories for the system. A horizontal platform is removably attached to the support frame for holding accessories to the system and for catching material spills. Content tags can also be removably attached to the system and to supplementary storage areas. A method of dispensing material is also disclosed.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a combined toilet bowl cleaning brush and storage container system. The brush is provided with a support which rests on an upper edge of a container wherein the container forms upper and lower volumes and includes a resilient vertically compressible bellows section. Disinfectant fluid is provided in the lower volume. When the support is forced downward, the bellows compresses and fluid is squirted on the brush. When released, the bellows expands and the brush is suspended above the fluid. A restrictor web can be placed at the throat of the lower volume to discourage refill use of the lower volume.

Abstract: The invention is directed to methods and apparatus for collecting and preparing stored blood that minimizes handling and manipulation of blood bags to thereby reduce the contamination risk. In particular, the invention is directed to methods and apparatus wherein at least one sterilely packed blood bag is provided in a packaging apparatus that supports the blood bag during filling and also serves as the transport container for the blood bag. The packaging apparatus comprises a sterile package for at least one blood bag and has a completely enclosed interior space to hold the blood bag and a closure element used to open up the interior space. The interior space has a volume of at least 500 ml or can be expanded to at least 500 ml by applying an internal pressure directed outwards from the interior space and the interior space can be closed by the closure element. Preferably, the packaging apparatus also serves as a support during centrifugation of the collected blood.
