Abstract: A vehicle windscreen has a bracket attached for a sensor including a camera, the bracket comprising a baseplate and a retaining element. The sensor is housed in a housing inserted in the bracket, and at least one rod-shaped member projects from the housing, by way of which it is removably retained in the bracket. A first retaining element variant comprises a raised bed integrated with the baseplate, and a resilient opposed limb, joined to the bed at one end and free at the other end. The limb opposes the bed, and an elongate space extends between the two, with the space closed at one end and open at the other end so the rod-shaped member may enter/be retained in the space. Another retaining element variant comprises a bore having a conical portion and a cylindrical portion in communication with each other, and aligned along a common axis of rotation.

The holder base part has a retaining element with a securing portion, by which the retaining element is secured to the vehicle part, and which has a retaining portion by which the retaining element is separably connected to a connection element on the side of the at least one camera housing by a sliding movement along a notional connection axis. The retaining portion contributes to defining an insertion region into which the housing-side connection element is inserted for separable connection to the retaining element. The retaining element has a holder-locking element which interacts with a housing-locking element on the side of the camera housing to lock a connection between the retaining element and the connection element. The holder-locking element is arranged in the insertion region.

Abstract: Described are modular folding shelves configured for removably connecting with a passenger seat back to support small items. The modular folding shelves can include an attachment portion configured to removably connect with a passenger seat back, a platform portion, and a folding support element connected between the attachment portion and the platform portion. The folding support element can be configured to fold between the attachment portion and platform portion when the platform portion is stowed, and to extend when the platform portion is deployed such that the folding support element supports the platform portion and prevents it from extending beyond the deployed configuration. The platform portion is pivotally connected with the attachment portion to allow the platform portion to fold upward and rest against or proximate to the passenger seat back when the modular shelf is installed and in a stowed configuration, and to extend away from the passenger seat back in a deployed configuration.

Abstract: A spray foam insulator assembly for retaining a pressurized can of spray foam at a preferred temperature includes an insulating sleeve that has a diameter of at least 68.0 mm and a height of at least 245.0 mm to insertably receive a pressurized can of spray foam. The insulating sleeve is comprised of a thermally insulating material to retain the pressurized can of spray foam at an optimal temperature for enhancing functionality of the pressurized can of spray foam. The insulating sleeve has a cut integrated into the insulating sleeve to enhance inserting the pressurized can of spray foam into the insulating sleeve. A closure is integrated into the insulating sleeve for opening and closing the cut. A belt clip is coupled to the insulating sleeve to engage an article of clothing on a user for storing the insulating sleeve.

Abstract: A mounting system for securing a container to a bed of a vehicle includes a mounting bracket that is adjustable in its length dimension. A first connection joint is for attaching the first end portion to a sidewall of the bed. A second end portion has at least one foot portion for engaging a floor surface of the bed. A second connection joint is for attaching a central portion of the mounting bracket to the container. The bracket is adjustable to a length dimension sufficient to engage the foot portion of the bracket to the bottom surface of the bed, while the bracket is attached to the side wall of the bed through the first connection joint.

Abstract: A lane departure warning system is configured to be securely coupled to a portion of a vehicle. The lane departure warning system includes a bracket that is configured to securely retain a camera assembly, and a securing adhesive pad attachable to the bracket. The securing adhesive pad includes a substrate, a first adhesive layer on a first side of the substrate that is configured to secure the securing adhesive pad to the bracket, and a second adhesive layer on a second side of the substrate that is configured to secure the lane departure warning system to the vehicle.

Abstract: A fluid dispenser and method of operating the same. The fluid dispenser can include a wheel driven by diluent passing along a flow path in the fluid dispenser. The wheel can be connected to a pump to pump fluid from a reservoir for dispense into the diluent. In some embodiments, the ratio of wheel rotations to pump cycles is selected to provide a desired and repeatable dilution ratio of concentrated fluid to diluent. The fluid dispenser can be portable and/or disposable, and in some embodiments is adapted for installation on an upper rim of a reservoir wall. Also, the fluid dispenser can be provided with a baffle limiting the velocity and impact of incoming diluent to the wheel driving the pump, thereby improving dosing accuracy of the dispenser in some embodiments.

Abstract: This invention includes a type of portable trash receptacle that can be used by automobile passengers and drivers to dispose of garbage when in an automobile. The trash receptacle is designed to take up unused space next to the driver's seat or passenger seats. The trash receptacle also contains a removable liner, which makes it easier to empty and clean. Furthermore, the trash receptacle is designed to be opened and closed easily, and includes safety features so that it will not disturb the vehicle occupants. The receptacle's shape and location play a role in its ease of use. The invention also includes a method for vehicle occupants to dispose of trash. A variation of this invention can be used on airplanes.

The extensible mounting base has a folded configuration, in which the electronic device rests flat on the top of a dashboard, and an unfolded configuration, in which the electronic device drapes over the front of the dashboard, at an appropriate viewing angle for a passenger. In either configuration, the electronic device may be easily rotated between landscape and portrait orientations, but unwanted motion of the electronic device from sudden accelerations (e.g., from encountering a pothole) is minimized. Embodiments suitable for home and office are also contemplated.

At least one of the individual sensors may (a) receive an input via a bus communication and/or (b) deliver an output via a bus communication. With the structure attached at the receiving structure, at least one of the individual sensors may be removable from the structure for service. At least one of the sensors may view through the windshield via a light transmitting aperture established in a light absorbing hiding layer at the windshield.

Document can be inserted into the receptacle with information on the document facing towards the window so that the information can be read from outside the vehicle.

A method for mounting such a transponder within an automobile is provided in which a cover is provided that coordinates with the automobile in accordance with at least one predetermined criterion, the cover is engaged to the transponder housing whereby the cover and transponder housing are affixed to one another, a location in the automobile is selected for mounting the transponder, and the cover and transponder are mounted to the automobile in a single action.
