Abstract: A cover for covering a car or luggage on top of a car is described. The cover is made of a stretchy material such that it can expand to tightly fit the size and shape of a large variety of items or vehicles. Thus, the material composition as well as cover layers are crucial in obtaining the optimal balance of flexibility and protection. In many embodiments securing mechanisms are provided around the base of the cover as well as over the top of the cover to aid in securing the cover over the items or vehicle. In some embodiments a lower cover is provided which sits under items on top of a vehicle and protects the roof of the vehicle from the items.

Abstract: The use of various carrier means such as strollers, wheelchairs, scooters and similar has been very helpful for easing the human life, however lifting and placing of such heavy objects with irregular shapes for placing them inside the vehicle or its trunk is difficult and labor intensive. For this reason this applicant has introduced carriers to the USPTO for helping in this regard by using a compartment with a ramp for moving the objects up and into the compartment and now he introduces improvements and additions to his previous inventions for making the use of such carriers simpler and easier, and even quicker.

Abstract: This is a reminder bag carrier which contains four small container bags. Each of these small container bags holds a larger bag intended to be used for shopping. The zippered reminder bag carrier may be conveniently attached to a car door as a reminder for the user to take their shopping bags into the store, as may be required by law. Alternatively, the user may carry the zippered bag by attaching it to his or her person or purse by means of the Velcro handle strap. This is intended to remind the user to take needed shopping bags into a store, thus negating the necessity of buying paper bags or using plastic bags which are presently freely issued. (Anticipated laws, beginning January, 2013, will ban the use of plastic bags and necessitate a charge of 10 cents for each paper bag. Eventually paper bags will also be banned.) This is a reminder bag carrier may also contain devices or items of necessity to the artist, journalist, musician or any person who needs items of personal importance.

Abstract: A vehicle article may have cross bars that may be nestably secured together on a trunk lid of a vehicle when not in use, and yet quickly and easily attached to elements mounted in roof ditches on the roof of the vehicle when needed for use. In another embodiment the vehicle article carrier includes a pair of pivotally secured support rails that are supported from frame or body structure of the vehicle below and adjacent the rear bumper of the vehicle. The support rails may be pivoted into stowed positions when not needed to hide them from view, and then quickly and easily pivoted out when needed for use. Attachments such as a cargo box or a bicycle carrier may be easily secured to the support rails.

Abstract: A luggage rack and passenger seat combination for a motorcycle includes a luggage rack assembly configured to mount to the motorcycle. The luggage rack assembly has a support member operable to support cargo on a support surface thereof, the luggage rack assembly including a first engaging feature and a second engaging feature. A passenger seat assembly includes a movable mounting member and a fixed mounting member. The movable mounting member is movable between an unlocked position and a locked position. The movable mounting member is engageable with the first engaging feature and the fixed mounting member is engageable with the second engaging feature to removably couple the passenger seat assembly to the luggage rack assembly to support a passenger of the motorcycle.

Abstract: A display package convertible to a mobile device holder is provided. The display package includes a display package first part, a display package second part, a retaining member, and a connecting member. The display package first part and the display package second part are connected to each other and foldable onto each other between a flipped-open state and a flipped-closed state. The retaining member releasably retains a mobile device, wherein the retaining member is shaped to engage the mobile device so as to restrain the mobile device in at least one of up, down, right, left and forward directions when the display package is in at least one of the flipped-open state and the flipped-closed state. The connecting member connects the display package to a vehicle interior.

Abstract: A mobile platform is provided. The mobile platform includes a interior overhead structure and at least one compartment rotatably coupled to the interior overhead structure. The compartment is rotatable into an opened position and a closed position. The mobile platform further includes a pivot system coupled to the interior overhead structure and the compartment to enable the compartment to rotate into the opened position and the closed position. The pivot system comprises a first fitting that defines a raceway and a second fitting that defines a hub and a guide. The hub of the second fitting is for engagement with the raceway and the guide directs the first fitting into the second fitting to couple the first fitting to the second fitting.

Abstract: A multi-purpose vehicle cargo bed accessory includes a central body portion, a first lateral body portion and a mounting structure. The first lateral body portion is rigidly connected along a first lateral edge of the central body portion to form a generally T-shaped transverse cross section with the central body portion along a majority of a length of the first lateral edge. The first lateral body portion has a first longitudinal part extending outwardly from a first side of central body portion and a second longitudinal part extending outwardly from a second side of central body portion. At least one of the central body portion and the first lateral body portion includes the mounting structure configured and arranged to securely fasten the vehicle cargo bed accessory to a vehicle cargo area.

Abstract: The invention is a cartop cargo carrier in the form typically and commonly seen in the art today, with the exception that the lid doubles as a one-piece boat. The boat/lid is constructed of molded plastic/polymer as is known in the art and commonly available and used today for small sized boats (6-12 feet typically), and is similar in materials as is known in the art of cartop cargo carriers. The boat/lid is constructed of a heavier gauge than the portion typically forming the bottom section (and indeed the overall units) of these carriers, to enhance it's suitability and safety for use as a small boat for one or two persons. As part of the construction of the boat/lid, folding seat(s) and oars and retractable oarlocks are fastened to the inside of boat. Also, in the larger model, a reinforced transom is included to accommodate a small electric or gasoline outboard motor.

Abstract: Mountain Mike's Reproductions ATV Gun Rack/Pop-up Shooting Rest is a rack to be mounted on an ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle). This rack will hold a gun or rifle securely for travel and double as a shooting rest when stopped. Its appearance is similar to many ATV gun mounted rack. The difference is its ability to be released on one end and with the use of gas spring pop-up and double as a shooting rest. It will be mounted to pop-up to the left for left handed shooters or turned around to pop-up to the right for right handed shooters. The one side of the rack which comes up is levered to maintain a vertical position and rotates 360 degrees to work as a shooting rest. It can be used from a stationary ATV in the riding position or by off-mounted riders around the ATV. While traveling, the rack is securely held down in the locked position with the use a cam clamp. When stationary and ready to use the clamp lock down is released and the end of the rack is pushed up by the gas spring.

A hand tool, for instance an ice scraper, screw driver, bottle opener, or flashlight, is adapted to fit with the recess and is formed with a throughgoing hole. Latches releasably secure the tool in the recess so that for use the hand tool can be grasped through the hole and freed from the recess.

Abstract: A vehicle mounted step assembly for use with trailer hitch. The vehicle mounted step assembly includes a platform portion and a tongue portion. The platform portion is pivotable with respect to the tongue portion between a lowered use position and a raised storage position. The platform portion is also slidable with respect to the tongue portion from a first configuration to a second configuration.

Abstract: A portable containment system including a open weave netting side and a solid fabric backing that is foldable about a center support structure allows quick and easy storage and transportation of items in a vehicle cargo or trunk area. The portable containment can be used for both storing and manually transporting items outside a vehicle.

Abstract: A more utilitarian folding boat, comprising two identical rigid halves that are held in a parallel position by a single longitudinal hinge fixed to opposing flanges, running from transom to bow, and braces placed on or otherwise affixed to the fore and aft flanges and seat mounts, that when assembled form a twin hull water craft. The hinge affixed to the hull sections allow the sections to be rotated around a centerline of the open boat to then mate at their flange in the same manner as a clam, to form a sealed container suitable for transport on the roof of an automobile. The interior of the closed boat is intended to be used to contain components of the boat and camping gear or other items to be transported by vehicle or stored by standing the closed container on its end like a locker.

Abstract: A cart apparatus includes a base assembly which includes a floor and walls which project upward from the floor. A first multipurpose connection bracket is attached to a bottom side of the floor. A pair of handle/leg reception brackets are attached to one end of the base assembly. The handle/leg reception brackets are oriented at an acute orientation angle with respect to a top surface of the walls. A second multipurpose connection bracket is attached to the bottom side of the floor. The first multipurpose connection bracket is attached adjacent to a first side of the floor, and the second multipurpose connection bracket is attached adjacent to a second side of the floor. Each of the first and second multipurpose connection brackets is located medially along the floor. The floor includes drain holes. Support beams are connected between the base assembly and the multipurpose connection bracket. The cart apparatus can be used either attached to a motor vehicle or free-standing on its own wheels.

Abstract: A continuously curved drawbar adapted to be mounted in a receiver hitch for extending the bed of a transport vehicle and enhancing load carrying capacity. The drawbar is formed as a box beam with a straight section at one end for receipt in the receiver hitch and rising above the receiver hitch at the second end. An adapter is provided at the end second for mounting a load. The curved drawbar reduces the amount of high-load impact transferred to the receiver hitch and resists permanent deflection.

Abstract: A vehicle mounted cart is provided including a vehicle, a frame, a handle support pivotally mounted to the frame, and a pair of wheel assemblies coupled to the frame, whereby the frame is removably coupled to the vehicle wherein the handle support acts as a support when the frame is coupled to the vehicle and a handle when the frame is removed from the vehicle and utilized as a cart.

Abstract: A towable cargo watercraft or boat is described that can be transported on a motor vehicle to and from the location where it is to be used. The craft includes a hollow hull comprising a rigid shell formed from plastic resin with a bottom wall, side walls and a transom extending upwardly and terminating in a wide upwardly facing open hatch. The hatch extends substantially from the bow to the stem of the watercraft and from one side of the craft to the other to allow easy access to a storage compartment inside the hull. A removable hatch cover is connected by a waterproof seal to a rim that encircles the hatch for covering and sealing the hatch when the watercraft is in use. A releasable latch is provided to hold the hatch closed during use, and the seal around the hatch maintains the watercraft in a weatherproof and watertight condition.

Abstract: A truck bed extender mountable in a receivable trailer hitch has an elongated support bar and a rack. The rack has a horizontal cross bar that is vertically adjustable on the support bar at the end opposite that where the support bar is secured to the receiver trailer hitch.
