  • Patent number: 9963123
Abstract: A frame mounted vehicle lift system and method of use are described. The system and method of use are designed to provide a simple, reliable, and safe means for persons operating a motor vehicle to elevate one or more of the vehicle's wheels from the ground for a variety of purposes, such as changing a flat tire, for example. The system comprises one or more frame-mounted vehicle jacks and an automatic spare tire dispenser. Components of the invention are driven by actuators powered by the vehicle's battery and activated by a dashboard or other switch on the vehicle, or remotely by a FOB.

  • Patent number: 9266564
Abstract: A vehicle body structure is described that includes a pair of rear rails, a bumper beam and a spare tire compartment including a spare tire. The rear rails have a rear segment aligned with the bumper beam, a middle segment disposed above the rear segment and a front segment that extends downwardly from the middle segment. After a 50 mph 70% Movable Deformable Barrier rear impact test, the spare tire compartment including the spare tire hinges downwardly to create added crush space and the middle section is raised upwardly to reduce the extent of intrusions into the passenger compartment.

  • Patent number: 6447032
Abstract: A brush guard attachment equipped with a centrally disposed, forwardly disposed pivotally mounted tote rack mounted to a front end of a vehicle protects the vehicle front end against brush damage. The attachment protects the vehicle against impacting damage when the tote rack is used in a toting position. The tote rack is positioned forwardly from protective brush rails and pivots from a pair of projecting vertical support members to a toting position when in use and non-toting position when not in use.

  • Patent number: 6315483
Abstract: A one-piece fluid flow control valve for use in a fluid applicator tip which is connectable onto an open end of a resiliently squeezable bottle. The valve includes a cup-shaped body formed of resilient plastic material having a generally U-shaped longitudinal cross section which defines a hollow interior with an open end and a closed end. The body configured for coaxial alignment and seated retention within a mating interior surface of the applicator tip with the closed end oriented downstream of fluid flow through the applicator tip with respect to the open end. A normally closed slit formed into the body in close proximity to the closed end defines a flap, the slit automatically opening to permit fluid entering into the hollow interior to flow through the opened the slit when the bottle is held in an inverted orientation and squeezed to increase fluid pressure against the closed end to deflect the flap and open the slit.

  • Patent number: 5492259
Abstract: A cargo support frame structure for vehicles is disclosed as including a replacement rear supporting bumper having two upright members attached thereto and extending above the bumper to a predetermined height that is, for most types of vehicles, in excess of the roof height of the vehicle. A connecting member is disposed between one end of each of the upright members opposite to where each upright member is attached to the supporting bumper and is attached thereto. A longitudinal member is perpendicularly attached near to the center of the connecting member and extends longitudinally generally parallel with the center-line of the vehicle. A front cross member having two ends is attached to the end of the longitudinal member that is opposite to the end where the longitudinal member is attached to the connecting member and extends perpendicular with respect to the longitudinal member. The two ends of the front cross member are each attached to a front upright member at a first end of each front upright member.
