Abstract: An apparatus for carrying panel materials adjacent to a truck side panel has a stationary workpiece resting surface mounted on the truck side panel and a movable workpiece clamping and supporting device positioned adjacent to the stationary workpiece resting surface and mounted to the truck. A motive device such as a motor engages the truck and is connected for moving the workpiece clamping and supporting device toward and away from the workpiece resting surface for sandwiching a workpiece between the workpiece resting surface and the workpiece clamping and supporting device for enabling the truck to transport the workpiece.

Abstract: A trailer apparatus having no wheels is releasably connected to a trailer hitch at the rear of a motorized vehicle in cantilevered relation to the vehicle. The apparatus includes a longitudinally disposed base and a cradle disposed in transverse relation to the base. The base includes a pair of support posts for the cradle so that the cradle may be selectively positioned near the leading end of the base for relatively short loads and near the trailing end of the base for relatively long loads. The cradle is disconnected from the base and positioned in parallel relation to it when the apparatus is in storage. The apparatus weighs about fifty pounds and has carrying handles. It can be assembled and attached to a trailer hitch by one person in about two minutes.
Abstract: A continuously curved drawbar adapted to be mounted in a receiver hitch for extending the bed of a transport vehicle and enhancing load carrying capacity. The drawbar is formed as a box beam with a straight section at one end for receipt in the receiver hitch and rising above the receiver hitch at the second end. An adapter is provided at the end second for mounting a load. The curved drawbar reduces the amount of high-load impact transferred to the receiver hitch and resists permanent deflection.
Abstract: A new wild game field removal system for facilitating removal of various sizes of wild game carcasses from the field with a vehicle while keeping the vehicle uncontaminated by the wild game carcass. The inventive device includes a U-shaped basket for supporting a wild game carcass, a first adjustable support slidably secured to the U-shaped basket, a second adjustable support slidably secured to the U-shaped basket opposite of the first adjustable support, and a vehicle securing means removably attached to the rear of a vehicle and securing the U-shaped basket.
Abstract: A device for variable division of a motor vehicle boot and for securing the loaded goods has a guide rail arranged on the boot floor and one or more support panels guided by a sliding guide block in the guide rail at right angles to the guide rail and so as to be transversely displaceable therein. The support panels are mounted to rotate in the sliding block and can be swivelled up out of a horizontal position in which they lie substantially parallel to the boot floor, into a position vertical with respect to the boot floor, and can be locked. On the support panels there are provided connecting elements to which fixing modules or belt modules for securing the loaded goods or for dividing the boot in a second axis can be fixed.

Abstract: A truck bed extender mountable in a receivable trailer hitch has an elongated support bar and a rack. The rack has a horizontal cross bar that is vertically adjustable on the support bar at the end opposite that where the support bar is secured to the receiver trailer hitch.
Abstract: A device for a variable division of a motor vehicle boot and for securing a loaded cargo, the device comprises two guide rails arrangeable at a distance apart on a boot floor, at least one supporting panel arranged between the guide rails and displaceable at right angles to the guide rails, rolling devices by which the at least one supporting panel is displaceable to the guide rails and which are arranged in both the guide rails and joined to one another, a sliding block which guides the rolling devices in one of the guide rails, the support panel being rotatably mounted on the sliding guide block and being pivotable from a horizontal position lying on the boot floor into a supportable upright position.

Abstract: A receiver hitch boat and canoe rack comprised of a right angle extension adapted for adjustable coupling with a receiver hitch on a vehicle. A hollow vertical post telescopically receives the right angle extension for adjustable securement thereto by a nut and bolt. A hollow horizontal post is integral with the hollow vertical post in an orthogonal relationship. The hollow horizontal post has open end portions. A pair of cross bars are telescopically received within the open end portions of the hollow horizontal post for adjustable securement thereto by a nut and bolt. The pair of cross bars have an eye bolt secured thereto.
Abstract: A vehicle long load stabilizing apparatus which is attachable to a vehicle's standard tube type trailer hitch via a clevis pin. The apparatus consists of a horizontal member, a vertically angled member, and a horizontal stabilizing member. The apparatus allows longer loads to be carried, in a more convenient and safe manner, and, dissembles for convenient transport and storage within the vehicle when not in use.
Abstract: A bike rack apparatus is provided for supporting a bicycle on an automobile, and includes a channel for receiving the wheels of a bicycle and supporting the weight of the bicycle. The channel is supported on the automobile, preferably by a male hitch member sized for receipt in a female hitch member of the automobile, and includes a pair of clamps for stabilizing the apparatus on the automobile. The apparatus also includes a shackle assembly for holding a bicycle in an upright position on the channel and restraining movement of the bicycle relative to the channel.
Abstract: A load carrier for transporting bulky articles on vehicles, having two beams connected by a cross-strut, the cross-strut being able to secure a load to be carried, has holding tubes that are securable to a rear of a vehicle and extend in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The beams are insertable into the holding tubes, and have angled ends. The beams are displaceable by a defined amount in the longitudinal direction in the holding tubes between a rest position in which the beams are under the vehicle and a use position in which the beams project beyond the rear of the vehicle. The beams are fixable in the rest and use positions and mounted so as to each be pivotable about the axis of one of the holding tubes into one of two different end positions. The angled ends of the beams are swivellably articulated on the cross-strut. The beams project beyond the rear of the vehicle and are swivelled upwards with their angled ends when in the use position.
Abstract: An improved article mounting assembly for a vehicle mounted carrier is described. This particular style of vehicle mounted carrier has an upright primary support member with a bottom end adapted for attachment to a square tube trailer hitch on a vehicle and a top end having means to secure articles to the primary support member. The improvement includes a tubular primary upright support member having a top end, a bottom end and an interior bore. A lower mounting member is provided having a first portion and a tubular second portion. The first portion has article receiving depressions. The second portion has having an interior bore that telescopically receives the top end of the primary support member. A stop is provided to limit the relative telescopic movement of the tubular second portion of the lower mounting member and the primary support member. An upper mounting member is provided having a first portion and a second portion.
