Abstract: A holder for a handheld device, such as a cellular telephone, is a mount clip that attaches to a motor vehicle door. The first arm of the mount clip terminates with a hook or curve or bent edge. When inserted into the window slot of a motor vehicle door between the windowpane and the door panel, the hook or bent edge of the first arm engages with a portion of the window gasket. A mount fixture with a cradle or tray to hold the handheld device extends from the mount clip. When the holder is installed onto the driver's side door, the handheld device is positioned proximate or adjacent to the steering wheel and does not block the driver's access to the dashboard or the driver's view through the windshield.

Abstract: A modular bed and seat system for use in a vehicle having a rear cargo area includes a pair of side boxes, a front side thereof having at least one extension rail aperture. Each side box contains at least one extension rail movable from a retracted position to an extended position partially extending out of one of the extension rail apertures. Each extension rail and an inner side of each side box include at least two mounting apertures. A plurality of support panels each include rigid mounting prongs adapted for engaging the mounting apertures. In use, with the side boxes mounted to the two side walls of the rear cargo area of the vehicle, and with the extension rails set to desired positions, each support panel is placed to engage with the mounting apertures on either. As such, a variety of support panel configurations is achievable.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided for moving and securing articles in a pickup truck cargo bed. The pickup truck cargo bed may have opposing sidewalls, cab wall, tailgate, and floor. The apparatus comprises a plurality of tracks configured to connect to the pickup truck cargo bed, the plurality of tracks extending substantially along a longitudinal length of the pickup truck cab and defining a channel. A push plate slidably is mounted to the plurality of tracks with a movement member, and the push plate configured to stand perpendicular to the floor. The apparatus also comprises an actuator in mechanical communication with the push plate, the actuator configured to move the push plate to a desired position in the pickup truck cargo bed. An adjustable enclosed area is defined by the push plate, opposing side walls, and tail gate.

Abstract: An apparatus, according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a vehicle door panel, a removeable structure having a retention member fixed on the vehicle door panel, and a holding element associated with the retention member to provide a pocket that can be configured in different ways to accommodate a plurality of powered devices. A power interface in the vehicle door panel powers at least one of the plurality of powered devices. A method according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, providing the power interface in the vehicle door panel to power at least one of the plurality of powered devices, and providing a communications link between at least one of the plurality of powered devices and a vehicle touchscreen or control.

Abstract: A drawer for storage is positioned within a wheel well of a vehicle. A bottom panel of the drawer has an arcuate or faceted shape to accommodate the wheel over which the drawer sits. The drawer is movable between a closed and an open position on slides received within guide rails mounted either directly on the vehicle or on panels of a cabinet which encloses the drawer, the cabinet being mounted on the vehicle.

Abstract: A protective vehicle cover including a first panel assembly, a second panel assembly and a vehicle assembly is disclosed. A first panel drapes over a vehicle door exterior of a vehicle. The first panel assembly further includes a padded portion detachably mounted to the first panel. The padded portion may be secured to a window sill of a door of the vehicle. A pet may comfortably ride within the vehicle while resting their paws or head atop of the padded portion. Mounted detachably to a rear of the padded portion is a second panel. The second panel drapes over a vehicle door interior for protection against damage from pets. Importantly, the second panel includes a ballast or weighted material at a lower end to ensure that the second panel remains in place and draping over the vehicle door interior.

The appliance includes an essentially rectangular body and a vertical cover section fixed to a front vertical edge of the body and extending laterally beyond the vertical edge onto the furniture frame. A leg of the section adjacent to a lateral wall of the body has a hole for a fixing screw and a head of the fixing screw is accommodated at least partially in a depression surrounding the hole. A floor of a depression surrounding the hole is level, and a shaft of the fixing screw maintains clearance as it passes through the hole.

Abstract: A modular ramp and cargo box extension assembly is provided for use in connection with a pickup truck cargo box. The ramp assembly has a ramp connector assembly provided on the vehicle tailgate and ramps having a connector for connecting to the ramp connector to serve as loading ramps. The ramp connector has a pivoting clevis bracket and tangs that connects into a channel on the tailgate. Vertical tracks are provided proximate walls of the cargo box and rails are provided in the tracks to retain the ramps and move between retracted and extended positions so as to extend the height of the cargo box.

Abstract: The present invention features a tool storage organizer system. The system comprises a storage organzer installed on the back wall of the truck cabin. The organizer has a back support per with multiple layers of pocket disposed in the front and multiple horizontal pockets disposed in the back. The multiple layer pockets in the front have various heights but the same bottom ending levels. A plurality of bits slots are attached to pockets of the out layer pockets. The back support panel has multiple grommets near the to edge, which are used to attach to brackets installed on truck wall through a plurality of hooks. A hard rod is attached to the top edge of the back support panel to keep the support in shape when the back support panel is hanged up.

The box and bracket have an installed position wherein the hook portion engages the upper rail of a bed of a pickup style bed, the outer end of the adjustable support leg engages a wall extending downwardly from the upper rail of the bed and the storage box is supported on the bracket assembly adjacent the wall of the bed.

Abstract: A storage compartment such as a map pocket is provided over a recess in the door panel of a transportation vehicle. A frame includes a U-shaped member and a flexible spring piece coupled between the ends of the U-shaped member. The flexible spring piece has a length greater than the distance between the ends so that it tends to assume either a closed position proximate the recess or an open position away from the recess. A pocket cover has a front portion concealing the frame and has a folding side portion disposed between side and bottom edges of the frame and the door panel along corresponding edges of the recess. A tether is coupled to the frame for urging the frame toward the door panel while permitting the frame to be moved away from the door panel.

Abstract: A flexible storage system included in a vehicle interior comprises receiving elements configured on a surface facing the vehicle interior and different attachments that are made to be attached to the receiving elements. The receiving elements comprise a primary aperture connected to a slot that extends downwards towards a floor of the vehicle. Each of the attachments comprises at least one connecting element which has a shape that is complementary to the primary apertures of respective receiving elements and a shaft that connects the connecting element to the attachment. The attachments are detachably connected to the receiving elements when in use and stowed away when not in use. Thus, the storage system provides flexibility in that not only is it employed only when necessary, but it also provides a variety of storage attachments that are suited to different user needs.

Abstract: A wall liner system for installation within the cargo space of a van or other utility vehicle is provided. The system includes an inner panel configured to conform to and contact an inner surface of the vehicle side wall, an outer panel covering the inner panel, at least one article holder on the outer panel for stowing articles, and at least one connector fastening together the holder, the outer panel and the inner panel. The outer panel can be configured to cover and conform to the configuration of wheel wells and other components of the vehicle which protrude into the cargo space. The inner panel can comprise a rigid plate and the outer panel can comprise a less rigid moulded plastic panel, with the connector being configured to transfer substantially all of the weight of the holder onto the more rigid inner panel.

Abstract: A pick-up truck bed toolbox system utilizes a tool storage box which, in its stored, stationary position, rests on the floor of the bed of a pick-up truck such that it is parallel to the side wall of the truck. Electric motors, which can be remotely operated, are utilized to rotate dual, upstanding screw shafts which are connected via laterally extending cantilever arm members to the front and rear ends of the toolbox. The screw shafts raise the toolbox from its resting position on the floor of the bed of the pick-up truck, to an elevated position over the floor, and the shafts then operate to move the arm members laterally to extend the tool box to a position passed the side wall. The screw shafts can then be activated to lower the tool box to a lowered position outside the truck, adjacent to and alongside the sidewall, thus providing easy and ready access to the toolbox. The same system is utilized to return the toolbox from this lowered position outside the truck, to the floor of the truck bed.

Abstract: A panel truck provides a material carrier made up of a fixed frame clamped the a rain gutter of the truck and a movable frame that is able to be drawn toward the fixed frame to clamp panels between the frames. The fixed frame is further secured to the truck by a clamp leg that may be drawn toward an interior panel of the truck so as to apply clamping action between the fixed frame against the exterior panel of the truck and the clamp leg against the interior panel. The system has a handle mounted on the box which holds the U-shaped member in contact with the trapezoidal member when the box is in a locked position for vehicle movement and a tab that will partially separate the U-shaped member from the trapezoidal member when the handle is rotated.

Abstract: A trunk organizer for the trunk cavity of a police vehicle that forces the orientation of long, stiff items typically carried within the trunk cavity of police vehicles into a transversely extending orientation. The transverse orientation of these items typically found in police vehicle trunks reduces the likelihood of a high speed rear collision driving the items through the walls defining the trunk cavity, particularly the waterfall of the trunk cavity, into the fuel tank. The trunk organizer is preferably formed from high density polyethylene with a forward panel of Kevlar affixed to the front panel of the trunk organizer to provide further penetration resistance. Translucent lids provide a ready inspection of the items without requiring the opening of a compartment. The trunk organizer is sized and configured to fit snuggly within the trunk cavity of a conventional police vehicle and permits an easy removal therefrom.

Abstract: An apparatus for carrying a workpiece adjacent an exterior surface of a vehicle, provides a stationary resting surface mounted on an exterior surface of the vehicle and one or more movable clamping bars positioned adjacent to the resting surface. A driving screw moves the clamping bar in a scissors type motion, alternately toward the resting surface, so as to clamp the workpiece, and away from the resting surface so as to release the workpiece, whereby the workpiece may be safely transported by the vehicle. The apparatus may be mounted onto a panel truck, normally adjacent to one or both side panels, or may be mounted on the sides of a pick-up type truck.

Abstract: The present invention is a tool pouch for mounting on a rear wall of a cab of a truck-like vehicle. The tool pouch has a backing which is preferably nylon or canvas. The front portion of the backing preferably has a plurality of pockets of different sizes and shapes, loops, hooks, T-hooks, clips for holding and storing a number of different tools and accessories in a neat, organized fashion. The tool pouch is attached to the rear wall of the cab by a number of attaching means such as by a groove attachment and mounting hook assembly, a hook and loop fastener attachment, or via a pair of snap fittings. In one embodiment, the tool pouch has support rods for additional support. The backing optionally includes an open space for disposing the pouch over a transmission drive hump.

Cushioned crossbars attachable to the side members dampen vibration of the hand truck during transportation.

In the illustrated embodiment, the management system also includes a panel which may be placed into three positions: a first storage position in which the panel is flush against the back of the rear seat; a second shelf position in which the panel is horizontal and spaced from the cargo floor by a first distance; and a third privacy shield position in which the panel is also horizontal but is spaced from the cargo floor a second distance, the second distance exceeding the first distance.

Abstract: A box lid that can be used on a truck box is provided according to the invention. The box lid includes an outer box lid member constructed to fit over a box, an inner box lid member attached to the outer box lid member to provide a cavity between the outer box lid member and the inner box lid member, and injection foam provided within the cavity between the outer box lid member and the inner box lid member. The outer box lid member includes a cover member having a periphery, and a depending wall extending along the cover member periphery. The injection foam can be polyurethane foam. A method for manufacturing a box lid and a pickup truck bed box are provided.

Abstract: A removable, storage box for use within a canoe or other small boat. The shape of the box is such that it fits securely within the tapered bow or stem of a canoe or any watercraft having adequately shaped bow and/or stern regions, without degrading the watercraft's stability or seaworthiness. The key to the utility of the box is that because of its overall shaped it can be wedged in between the watercraft's floor and the underside of its gunwale flanges. Once the box is so situated, its wedged fit holds it in place both for water travel; during portaging, it can be removed for carrying on one's back or it can be left in place to be carried along with the canoe. Also, because of the wedge fit, the lid of the box is held firmly closed during travel by the gunwale flanges. Because of the thermal insulation of the box, this tight closure of the lid allows either hot or cold items to be transported without their undergoing undesired temperature chages.

Abstract: A system for stabilizing articles is provided. The system is particularly well-suited for stabilizing plastic grocery bags during transport in a vehicle. The system comprises a stabilizing element that, when in use, extends from a first point to a second point and passes through the handles of a bag to be stabilized. Preferably, the first and second points are fixed, either detachably or semi-permanently, on the sidewalls in the interior of a vehicle. Further, the stabilizing element preferably is flexible. In addition, the stabilizing element preferably can be disconnected from the second point and also preferably, the stabilizing element can recoil into a location at the first point so that only a portion of the stabilizing element is visible. Other preferred embodiments of the present invention, including those with intermediary fixtures or intermediary support features, as well as those with multiple stabilizing elements, also are disclosed.
