Abstract: A grip assembly includes a base member, a cross beam coupled to the base member having a first mounting portion and a second mounting portion. A first grip arm is removably coupled to the first mounting portion and is independently positionable into a first position of a first plurality of lockable positions relative to the first mounting portion. A second grip arm is coupled to and is independently positionable into a second position of a second plurality of lockable positions relative to the first grip arm. A third grip arm is removably coupled to the second mounting portion and independently positionable into a third position of a third plurality of lockable positions relative to the second mounting portion. A fourth grip arm is coupled to and is independently positionable into a fourth position of a fourth plurality of lockable positions relative to the third grip arm.

Abstract: A vehicle assembly includes, among other things, a cargo bed of a vehicle, a passenger side rail mounted to a passenger side wall assembly of the cargo bed, and a driver side rail mounted to a driver side wall assembly of the cargo bed. A crossbar is slidably coupled to the passenger and driver side rails. The crossbar is slidable along the passenger and driver side rails between a forward position and a rearward position. The crossbar is closer to a cab of the vehicle when the crossbar is in the forward position than when the crossbar is in the rearward position.

Abstract: A storage system for a vehicle door may include: a vehicle door; a map pocket assembly movable with respect to the vehicle door; and a guide mechanism guiding a movement of the map pocket assembly, wherein a storage compartment is defined between the map pocket assembly and the vehicle door.

Abstract: A seat usage prevention device is disclosed. The seat usage prevention deice includes at least one device component being configured to interact with one or more seat components of a first seat. The device component is configured to prevent usage of at least one of a seat pan or seatback of the first seat. The device component further separates a second seat from at least a third seat, wherein the third seat is proximate to at least one of the first seat or the second seat. The seat usage prevention device may include a device component that further includes a cushion, a base, an amenity console, or a vertical separator, or combination thereof.

Abstract: An object is to expand the capacity of storage of a luggage box and thereby to increase the efficiency of component transportation. A tray for vehicle storage space is formed from a fiber board that includes a bottom portion, side portions and flat portions extended from the side portions and that has a thickness of 2 to 6 mm, a total weight of 450 to 1000 g/m2, and a tensile strength of 850 to 2150 N/25.4 mm. The fiber board has linear first cuts provided on a surface side to divide boundaries between the side portions and the flat portions, linear second cuts provided on a rear face side to divide boundaries between the bottom portion and the side portions, linear third cuts provided on the surface side to fold back the side portions, and linear third cuts provided on the rear face side.

Abstract: An armrest assembly for a vehicle door can include a panel and a cover panel. The panel can include an upper exterior surface, a pull pocket extending from and recessed below the upper exterior surface, a first engagement aperture in the pull pocket, a second engagement aperture in the pull pocket, and a switch spaced away from the pull pocket. The cover panel can include an exterior touch surface for an occupant to pull on the vehicle door. The cover panel can be in the pull pocket and expose the upper exterior surface of the panel. The cover panel can include a snap element engaging with the first engagement aperture, the snap element attached to the interior surface of the cover panel, and an attachment element engaging with the second engagement aperture, the attachment element attached to the interior surface of the cover panel.

Abstract: A loading space cover for a rear loading space in a motor vehicle, includes at least one cover element for the at least partial covering of an upper side of the rear loading space. The cover element defines an upper limit of the loading space. To enable a hazard warning triangle to be carried in the motor vehicle with the least possible modification of components of the motor vehicle, the motor vehicle includes at least one fastening unit arranged on an underside of the cover element facing the loading space for the direct or indirect fastening of an accessory, preferably a hazard warning triangle, to the cover element.

Abstract: A holder assembly includes a connector positioned at a first end of the holder assembly. An accessory-engagement portion is positioned at a second end of the holder assembly. The accessory-engagement portion is configured to removably couple with an accessory. An arm is positioned between the first end and the second end. An attachment elbow is positioned between the arm and the connector. The attachment elbow is pivotable about a hinge.

Abstract: This envelope is an automobile accessory adapted to fit between the center console of an automobile and either the driver's seat or the passenger's seat, to catch items that fall in the space between the seat and the console. The sides of this envelope are made of flexible polymeric material that allows it to compress to fit in this space. The resilient force generated as the sides of the envelope seek to return to their uncompressed shape holds the envelope fairly securely in the space. Yet a user is able to slide the envelope into and out of the space easily. The envelope can be used to store items as well as to catch dropped ones.

Abstract: A container holder for a motor vehicle is disclosed. The container holder includes a housing for coupling to the motor vehicle. The container holder further includes a cover pivotally coupled to the housing. The cover is configured to pivot from a retracted position to a raised position. The container holder further includes a plurality of arms coupled to the cover and connected at a central hinge. The plurality of arms is configured to swivel about the central hinge from a closed position to an open position to define a cavity. The cavity is configured to receive a container.

Abstract: A cup holder includes one or two supporting members that support a container inserted into a receiving portion of a holder main body, and is arranged in a circumferential direction of the holder main body. A container having the protrusion and recess pattern on a side surface can smoothly be taken out from the receiving portion with a low risk of the supporting members interfering with other members around the holder main body.

Abstract: A storage compartment in a vehicle is covered by closing a vehicle door over the storage compartment. The storage compartment may be disposed in an end cap, the door, or part of the door frame. An electronic locking system with mechanical latches, a cinching door system, or an electronic latching system with fully electronic latches may be adapted to include a lock override control. The lock override control may be actuated by a graphic view interface, a portable radio frequency switch, or a telematics controller.

Abstract: A cup holder assembly for use in an automotive vehicle is provided. The cup holder assembly includes a panel and cup holder. The panel includes a top surface. The top surface includes at least one beverage container opening configured to receive a cup holder. A pocket is formed on the top surface of the panel and a cushion is disposed within the pocket. The panel may be covered with a skin such as a synthetic leather so as to cover the panel.

Abstract: The present teaching are related to an article comprising: a.) a horizontal rail capable of bearing loads; b.) affixed to the horizontal rail are two or more vertical support rails wherein the distance between the vertical support rails may be varied; c.) affixed to the horizontal rail are two or more carrying rails wherein the carrying rails are capable of carrying a load wherein the carrying rails may be moved to multiple positions; wherein the horizontal rail may be affixed to the vertical support rails and the carrying rails are affixed to the horizontal rail, and the vertical support rails are adapted to be affixed to a side wall of the bed of a pick-up truck.

Abstract: A cradle winch assembly for easy attachment to and detachment from a vehicle frame is disclosed. The cradle assembly includes a winch cradle for mounting a winch thereon, two drawbars fixed to the winch cradle and extending a distance from the cradle, two receiver brackets configured to be affixed to the vehicle frame and to allow insertion therein of the two drawbars, and a locking mechanism connected to the winch cradle. The disclosed locking mechanism includes a lever, two opposing load-bearing pins, and linkage connecting the lever to the pins wherein the locking mechanism is configured to move between a locked and unlocked position with the pins moving in a direction transverse to the insertion direction of the drawbar into the receiver bracket. The locking mechanism locks the cradle to the vehicle frame when actuated to a locked position by the lever.

Abstract: A battery 4 and a toolbox storage portion 5 are provided in a laterally arranged state on a reverse side of a seatback 2 of a vehicle, a toolbox 9 stored in the toolbox storage portion 5 is exposed when the seatback 2 is tilted forward, and an emergency stop switch 10 of the battery 4 is exposed so as to be operable when the toolbox 9 is removed from the above toolbox storage portion 5.

Abstract: A fixture apparatus for vehicle air-conditioner vent outlet is provided, including a fixing unit, a dial, a traction element, a clamp and a support element. The fixing unit is installed with the dial and limits the dial to only rotate at location. The clamp includes two coupled clips. The traction element is disposed with outer screw thread at some segment extending into the fixing unit and contacts the dial in a screw-like manner. When the dial rotates, the traction element moves linearly. One end of traction element outside of the fixing unit is coupled to the coupling position of the two clips of the clamp. The support element is coupled to outer wall of fixing unit, located on a same side of the clamp.

Abstract: A panel end cap storage unit is disposed on an instrument panel end cap adjacent a vehicle door and is configured such that the unit is not accessible when the vehicle door is closed. In this way, the present invention provides a nonvisible secure storage unit that is only accessible when the adjacent vehicle door is open.

Abstract: An attachment mechanism is described for attaching accessories to a stake hole in the sidewall of a cargo area of a vehicle, such as a pickup truck. The mechanism comprises of a base plate with a grove formed in the top of the base plate having the shape of an inverted T. An attachment plate having a connector, also having the shape of an inverted T, is attached to the bottom surface of the attachment plate. An attachment such as a tie down ring, a tie down anchor, a flag pole or tent pole holder or the like is attached to the top surface of the attachment plate. The attachment plate can then be attached to the base plate by sliding the inverted T shaped connector into the inverted T shaped groove in the base plate. Another attachment mechanism is described which can be used to attach accessories to vehicles without stake holes or to other regions of a vehicle.

Abstract: A gun mounting apparatus for utility terrain vehicles comprising: a first inverted L-shaped tubular member comprising a first attacher, a second inverted L-shaped tubular member comprising a second attacher, an obliquely oriented tubular member having a first tubular member end and a second tubular member end with a gun grip attached to each tubular member end and a first elastic cord and a second elastic cord. The first and the second inverted L-shaped tubular member may be partially inserted into receiving holes in side walls of a bed-box of a utility terrain vehicle and may be additionally secured to the vehicle via the first and second elastic cord which are attached to the first and second attacher. The gun mounting apparatus for utility terrain vehicles is suitable for transporting at least one weapon securely fastened to the gun grips which are attached to the obliquely oriented tubular member.

Abstract: An accessory holder system for securing a Personal Electronic Device (PED) for use in a golf cart whereby a golfer can easily view golf course GPS information on a display. The system includes a mount for insertion into a golf ball holder disposed in a golf cart; and an accessory holder for attachment and adjustment of the viewing angle of a PED in a variety of golf cart configurations. The accessory holder is typically composed of a mount with an attached rod for displacing an accessory away from interference with the golf cart dash board; a ball joint with a tensioning cap attached to the rod for adjusting the viewing position of an accessory; with a platform for mounting an accessory attached to the other end of the rod. The mount includes surface features which provide rotational stability for an accessory holder without relying on a friction-fit.

Abstract: A stand assembly for holding handheld electronic devices in a multitude of positions or locations having a first section with a curved end magnetically attached to second section having and indented surface. The first section also attaches to a surface, the second section either is contiguous with a portable electronic device, a carrying case, or other item; or has a means to attach to another surface. A high-friction elastomeric material, or similar friction producing material, helps to secure the first and second sections together, or the second section against another flat magnetic surface.

Abstract: The support for cooling a container is a portable holder for a container of chewing tobacco that can be releasably attached to a vehicle air conditioner vent. The support includes a substantially circular front wall having at least one front rib formed on an inner face thereof. A semi-cylindrical sidewall extends peripherally from the inner face of the front wall, and at least one side rib is formed on an inner face thereof. A rear strap or wall extends across the sidewall, forming a pocket for holding the container. The rear wall is adapted for releasable attachment to the vent. In use, the at least one front rib and the at least one side rib space the container apart from the respective inner faces of the front wall and the sidewall to permit cool air to circulate around the container.

Abstract: A vehicle gun rack, comprising a set of support racks having posts that replace traditional head rests in a motor vehicle. Existing head rests are removed from two adjacent vehicle seats and replaced with the disclosed racks that are used to support a gun or rifle across the span of the two seats. The device comprises a seat-mountable rack with upstanding supports and a plurality of gun support hooks. The gun support hooks hold a rifle such that the rifle spans the space between the racks, while the racks occupy the head rest receiving post locations on the vehicle seats. The racks are therefore useful in the spaces wherein seat head rests are traditionally located within the interior of a vehicle, which is useful in vehicles where traditional rear window gun racks cannot be mounted because of the particular type of vehicle, including small vehicle or certain two-seater pick-up trucks.

Abstract: A storage unit is anchored in a truck bed with an attachment system incorporating side modules forming a track for easy pull-out and yet security when moved to a storage position within the truck bed. The storage unit and/or the side modules have recesses and components shaped for function and utility, as well as security and yet easy access. For example, the side modules can include a stationary light, a pull-out spot light, an electrical plug, a storage recess with a lockable cover, and/or a tool-holding recess. The storage unit includes functionally-shaped walls, pull-out containers and drawers, repositionable dividers for the storage recess, a lockable cover, handles to facilitate carriage, wheels for rolling transport, walls with external cable anchors for tying down items, and/or an air deflector/spoiler. The side modules can be releasable for use as a suitcase-like separate unit.

The display package includes a display package first part, a display package second part, a retaining member, and a connecting member. The display package first part and the display package second part are connected to each other and foldable onto each other between a flipped-open state and a flipped-closed state. The retaining member releasably retains a mobile device, wherein the retaining member is shaped to engage the mobile device so as to restrain the mobile device in at least one of up, down, right, left and forward directions when the display package is in at least one of the flipped-open state and the flipped-closed state. The connecting member connects the display package to a vehicle interior.

Abstract: A trim panel assembly for an automotive vehicle having a pocket door that is moveable between a reduced width position and an increased width position. The trim panel assembly includes a panel having a recessed portion. A pocket door is mounted over at least a portion of the recessed portion such that the pocket door and the recessed portion define a storage pocket. The pocket door is mounted for translational movement between first and second positions. In the first position, the storage pocket has a first width defined between an outboard side wall and an inboard side wall. In the second position, the width of the storage pocket is increased. This increase in width occurs over the vertical extent of the storage pocket.

Abstract: A vehicle includes a high voltage traction battery, a front door trim including a removable trim panel, a removable/portable bag integral to the removable trim panel for storing inside the front door trim when the removable trim panel is attached to the front door trim. A charge cord kit is contained in the removable/portable bag, and includes a charge cord for connecting to an electrical power supply to charge the high voltage traction battery.

Abstract: A positionable platform for use with a beverage holder, the positionable platform including a monolithic body sized similarly to a standard twelve (12) ounce beverage container, the body having an upper platform portion positioned adjacent to a first end of a wall portion thereof, with a plurality of slotted retention apertures distributed about the body and substantially aligned therewith. A resiliently pliable member resides in each of the slotted retention apertures, each of the resiliently pliable members being having a fin portion positioned partially within a slot portion and extended from the outer surface of the wall portion outwardly of the body and extending along the wall portion between the first and second ends thereof, and a spine portion positioned substantially within a recessed keyhole portion. A mounting platform is positioned adjacent to one of the first and second ends of the body.

Abstract: An adjustable tray assembly for engaging a cupholder in a vehicle comprises a tray having a plurality of cuts to form an aperture; and a frustum adapter having a downwardly tapered cylindrical shape, wherein the frustum adapter defines a first cavity for removably receiving an inserted beverage container, and wherein the adapter is removably inserted in the aperture and in the cupholder to bind the tray in place, and wherein the tray is substantially perpendicular with respect to a central axis of the cupholder and is capable of supporting various items, including food items.

Abstract: An accessory device for use in an automobile includes a body member, and a peripheral flange surrounding the body member. The body member is formed of an elastomeric material such that it is conformable to a gap within the automobile for catching falling objects and/or storing miscellaneous objects. The peripheral flange is also preferably formed of an elastomeric material. The body member defines an open receptacle having an opening on an uppermost surface of the accessory device, thereby providing access for objects to be placed within the receptacle.

Abstract: A positionable platform for use with a conventional beverage holder, the universally positionable platform including a first cup-shaped portion sized to fit within a conventional beverage holder; and a second substantially rigid cup-shaped portion coupled to the first flexible cup-shaped portion and being structured with a mechanical mounting platform. According to different embodiments of the positionable platform, the first cup-shaped portion is formed of a flexible material and structured with one or more resiliently pliable members structured to interfere with an internal wall surface of the beverage holder. According to other embodiments of the positionable platform, the first and second cup-shaped portions are securely fit over opposing first and second ends of the conventional beverage container. According to yet other embodiments of the positionable platform, the first and second cup-shaped portions are combined in a single unit sized similarly to a standard twelve (12) ounce beverage container.

A container may be put into or taken out of the container holder. The container holder has a pad configured to inhibit a container accommodated therein from disengaging from the container holder. When a small item is accommodated in the container holder, the pad serves as a lid.

Abstract: A vehicle cargo storage system includes a plurality of bins, trays, tracks, and covers. The tray is received within one of the bins and is movable from a normal retracted position into an extended loading/unloading position so as to place the tray in a more convenient location for access by the user. The tracks and associated slide arms connect the bin to the tray and guide the tray for movement between the extended and retracted positions.

Abstract: A writing instrument holder is inserted into an automotive cigarette lighter socket or receptacle. The holder includes a cylindrical body with a cylindrical or elongated cavity that receives one end of the writing instrument. The holder has an end flange with an opening communicating with the cavity. The opening in the end flange is preferably narrower than the cavity diameter, and may be surrounded by spaced projections or slits to more easily accept instruments of different diameters. Alternately, a plurality of spaced grippers may extend inwardly from the body around the cavity.

Abstract: This application is directed to a dynamic storage compartment for modifying the interior space of a vehicle, either as originally equipped or as an after-market modification, so as to provide a means for providing enhanced storage capacity for a vehicle which is characterized by ease of use and the ability to provide secure out of sight storage for valuables.

A hand tool, for instance an ice scraper, screw driver, bottle opener, or flashlight, is adapted to fit with the recess and is formed with a throughgoing hole. Abstract: A storage section structure of a saddle-ridden type vehicle for ensuring adequate storage capacity and allowing the storage workability to be increased while making it possible to improve the external appearance. A storage indent is indented downwardly and is provided on an inclined plane portion of a fender that covers a wheel. A lid is provided that opens and closes an opening of the storage indent. The lid is also swingably provided on the inclined plane portion of the fender. In this way, it is possible to prevent the projection of the structure from the outer surface of the fender while making it possible to widen the storage space above the fender and widen the opening section.

Abstract: A drawer device or container holder includes a member disposed in a closed position to be able to draw into an open position, a driving device attached to the member to move the member between the closed position and the open position, and a sensing device for sensing whether or not the member is drawn out for a predetermined amount from the closed position. A control device controls the driving device to cause the member to be housed when the sensing device senses that the member is not drawn out for a predetermined amount. Also, a container placed on a tray can be sensed assuredly regardless of vibration during a movement of a vehicle.

Abstract: A multi-purpose holder for supporting an object in a vehicle includes a body structured and configured to receive an object. A support member is provided for supporting the object, and is vertically movably mounted relative to the body.

Abstract: A vehicle trim component defining a storage pocket for mounting on a door panel is formed from first and second portions integrally attached to one another by a living hinge, to initially form a clamshell-type structure. The first portion defines a back wall of the storage pocket. The second portion defines a pair of opposed side walls of the storage pocket. The first and second portions are folded together about the living hinge to form the storage pocket. At least one fastening mechanism connects the first portion to the second portion when the first portion is rotated about the living hinge to the final assembly position adjacent the second portion.

Abstract: Disclosed is a low cost articulating map pocket or storage compartment that requires few manufacturing steps. The articulating map pocket provides for a closed locking detent feature and in one preferred embodiment a full open locking detent feature also.

Abstract: A cargo management system of this invention includes a deep well storage area beneath a cargo floor, which well may be horizontally and/or vertically divided and which preferably includes a plurality of doors to access the well. In the illustrated embodiment, the management system also includes a panel which may be placed into three positions: a first storage position in which the panel is flush against the back of the rear seat; a second shelf position in which the panel is horizontal and spaced from the cargo floor by a first distance; and a third privacy shield position in which the panel is also horizontal but is spaced from the cargo floor a second distance, the second distance exceeding the first distance.

Abstract: A depositing compartment in a vehicle, having a lid covering a depositing opening and having a depositing bowl arranged in the depositing compartment which is accessible by swivelling open the lid. One releasable lock respectively is arranged at least between the depositing bowl and the lid as well as between the depositing compartment and the depositing bowl. The locks are optionally unlockable by way of a joint unlocking device. An operating-friendly lock arrangement which has a simple construction is created in that the unlocking device for the two locks comprises a spring-loaded double-side push button key which interacts with an axially slidable lock bolt by way of an upright adjusting arm, depending on the pressure exercised on the push button key, one lock or the other lock being unlocked.

Abstract: A television mounting device for use in an automobile comprises a carrier, a platform, and two belt connectors. The television is enclosed in the carrier that can be in the form of a tote with rigid bottom and side walls. The rigid bottom wall is fixed to the platform that is removably attached to a between-front-seats console. Each of the two belt connectors consists of two complementing portions lockable to each other, each one portion being attached to a respective one of the side walls of the tote and each another portion being secured to a floor of the automobile, preferably integrally with an inside portion of a respective seat belt connector.
