    Abstract: An ATV utility mount and attachment including a mounting mechanism. The mounting mechanism has a plate member with a pair of pin tubes attached to a front side. A pair of U-bolts, each having a pair of prongs, are positionable about a gear rack of an ATV. Each U-bolt is fastened to the gear rack and the plate simultaneously. A pair of L-pins are included. Each L-pin has a vertical extent integral with a horizontal extent with a connecting curve therebetween. The vertical extent of each L-pin is positioned within one of the pin tubes of the mounting mechanism, when the plate is fastened to the gear rack by the pair of U-bolts. Lastly, an accessory for coupling to the mounting mechanism for transporting on the ATV is included.

    Abstract: An attachment mechanism for grasping an object such as an automobile tire. The attachment mechanism includes a number of clamp members pivotally connected to an inner plate. The clamp members fit around and grasp the object, and are adjustable to fit around objects of different sizes. The attachment member may be used, for example, as a locking mechanism for an automobile attachment such as a portable cover. The attachment mechanism locks onto the tires without any support from the ground. The frame for the automobile attachment can then be coupled to the attachment mechanisms, which provide the necessary support for the cover.

    Abstract: A ski rack having a pair of integrally formed hook portions and a pair of integrally formed channels which are adapted to help enable the ski rack to be secured to a cross bar or other like support member of an existing vehicle article carrier. The ski rack includes a pair of independent securing members also having a pair of hook portions which slidably engage within the pair of integrally formed channels and cooperate with the integrally formed hook portions to clamp the ski rack to an associated cross bar of the existing vehicle article carrier. The independent securing members of the ski rack are further adjustable to accommodate cross bars of varying cross-sectional widths and do not require any disassembly of the cross bar or any other component part of the vehicle article carrier before the ski rack is to be secured to the cross bar.

The pivot shaft has end portions extending over the pair of slots through the base. A U-shaped handle has free ends thereof pivotally coupled with the end porions of the pivot shaft. A U-shaped locking bar is positionable at an exterior of the tool box with free ends thereof extending inwardly of the tool box through the slots thereof and through the slots of the base plate to be pivotally coupled with the free ends of the U-shaped handle. A locking mechanism is included for selectively locking of the U-shaped handle.

    Abstract: The invention is directed to a wheel carrier which is adapted to be mounted exclusively to a cross tube of a receiver bracket assembly, which is typically attached to the underside of a motor vehicle and which is used to facilitate attachment of a trailer hitch in the form of a ball mount assembly. The simple manner in which the wheel carrier attaches to the receiver bracket assembly greatly decreases the necessary mounting time and avoids the necessity of drilling holes in the body and/or bumper. The wheel carrier has a carrier member, a wheel support member connected to the carrier member and adapted to support a motor vehicle wheel, and a mounting mechanism for mounting the carrier member exclusively to the cross tube of the receiver bracket assembly. The cross tube typically has a cross-sectional shape which is substantially square.

    Abstract: A vehicle carrier and ramp assembly includes two, spaced-apart platforms maintained at an elevated position above the top edges of the side walls of a pickup truck body so as to preserve significant cargo space upon the truck bed. The platforms are supported at each of their respective ends by braces carried by the pickup truck side walls. Two elongated and collapsible ramps may be selectively engaged with the rear end of the platforms for loading and unloading a small land vehicle such as an ATV. A hinge, joining the ramp segments or spans together, has a stop feature for maintaining the spans at an obtuse angle relative to one another while extended during loading and unloading operations. When the pickup truck is moved from place to place, the ramps may be folded and secured above the side walls of the truck and above the elevated platforms, offering a peripheral and protective barrier to an ATV or other carried vehicle.

One form is more versatile than the other in its provision of separate carrier parts, each having mounting structure components that telescope in selectively different ways into attachment with other mounting structure to serve different purposes.

    Abstract: A vehicle article carrier apparatus adapted for use with a cargo bed of a vehicle such as a pick-up truck. The apparatus generally comprises a pair of cross rails each having a length sufficient to span the width of the cargo bed and to be supported on upper surfaces of the sidewalls of the cargo bed. A securing mechanism includes a threaded bolt and a threaded nut which clampingly secures a bracket to an inner lip portion of the sidewall and an undersurface of the cross rail to thus secure the cross rail to the sidewalls of the cargo bed. When an optional lock member is locked in place via a key, a threaded nut housed therein cannot be loosened when the lock member is in a locked position, and therefore the cross rail cannot be moved from the cargo bed.

Then tightening of a bolt that passes through a hole on each side of the collar extension with a nut. A specially molded beverage holder consisting of two cylinder type cavities, a divider and an extension wall all molded as one. The cylinder cavities are designed to keep the beverages at a more constant temperature. The cavities are also large enough to allow the beverage containers to be covered with an insulation type wrap before being placed in the beverage cavities which would keep the beverages cooler/warmer even longer. The extension wall protrudes from the divider and is carried within the extension collar.
