  • Patent number: 6691906
Abstract: A taser holster includes a carrier for detachably fastening on a user's body, a pouch panel overlappedly provided on the carrier and defining a storage compartment, having a top opening, between the carrier and the pouch panel for receiving a taser, and a shielding flap, having a predetermined size and shape, overlappedly extended from the carrier for selectively folding from a closed position to an opened position. In the closed position, the shielding flap is folded to enclose the top opening of the storage compartment so as to cover a butt of the taser for protection purpose. In the opened position, the shielding flap is held by the carrier, which allows the taser withdrawing from the storage compartment efficiently.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for flexing a concealed holster to secure the contents of the holster in the holster. An elongate substantially rigid elastically flexible sling is secured to a side of the holster such that the elongate member and side of the holster can be partially separated so the wearer's shirts can be inserted therebetween to conceal the holster. The lower end of the sling can be flexed outwardly away from the side of the holster such that a portion of the outer side adjacent the lower end is, when the sling is flexed outwardly to insert the wearer's shirt, flexed inwardly to compress a pistol in the storage compartment.

Abstract: A protective pistol holster with one-way safety device includes a protective holster main sandwich with several clamping devices, a pair of clamping and receiving members with triangular and trapezoidal configurations, two strip-shaped spring leaves, and a frame protecting cover. An expanding member is formed at the fold of the protective holster main sandwich. The clamping and receiving members, with triangular and trapezoidal structures, position the pistol body where the expanding member presses against the protective holster main sandwich with the assistance of the tightly forcing resilience from the middle of two spring leaves. Removal of the pistol is achieved by pressing toward the inner side of the holster near the human body.

  • Patent number: 6604657
Abstract: A holster security device comprising a latching mechanism which is attached to a holster on a side portion thereof so as to form an integral unit. The device comprises a finger-operated tab extending beyond the housing of the security device and a latch hook which engages a male fastener mounted on a holster safety strap. When the male fastener engages its female counterpart and is aligned with the security device, the strap acts to restrain a firearm. A standard lock and key system is used to provide a high-level of security by locking the moving portions of the safety device and preventing unauthorized removal or theft of a firearm. Another feature of the invention is a trigger safety lock operable in conjunction with a latching mechanism while the firearm is seated in the holster. Optionally, the operation of the safety device parts can be mechanically, electrically, or electronically assisted.
