Abstract: A glove construction and/or kit may be used to outfit an electronic device so that the user thereof may more easily carry or transport the device. The glove construction comprises a flexible, load-bearing, strap-like material member having a glove length and a glove width. A series of finger-receiving sleeves extend widthwise intermediate the glove length. The ends of the material member are outfitted with a first set of fasteners matable with a second set of fasteners outfitted upon the electronic device. The first and second sets of fasteners are matable and together form a fastener interface for removably attaching the glove construction to the electronic device. The glove construction and the fastener interface are supportable of the device weight, and thus enable the user to manually carry the electronic device via the glove construction by inserting a series of fingers into the finger-receiving sleeves and lifting the combination therewith.

Abstract: Some embodiments are directed to an apparatus for monitoring patient orientation. A reusable sensor is configured to detect inclination angles of an anterior region of the patient. An elongated disposable attachment device is configured for removable attachment to both the sensor and the patient's anterior region such that the direction of elongation of the attachment device extends along the patient's sternum. The attachment device includes a sensor attachment portion configured for removable attachment to the sensor such that the sensor is prevented from direct contact with the patient, and a patient attachment portion configured for removable attachment to the patient's anterior region.

Abstract: The invention attaches a hand strap to a tablet to secure the tablet to the user's hand and act as an aide to prevent a tablet from being dropped. The invention allows the user to rotate the tablet to various viewing angles while still maintaining the secure connection to the tablet. The connection point provides a single yet strong connection between the hand strap and device grip for the two to rotate around each other.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed to conveniently carry a mobile device, among others, on a hand brace. The systems include a case to enclose the mobile device and a system to wear the apparatus on a hand. The systems comprise of a case; a case tether coupled to the case; a hand brace shaft coupled to a hand brace and a case lock to secure the case in a closed position. Also presented, a method to carry and use the device while tethered to a hand.

The harness has a pair of parallel elongated bars and at least one bracing member extending between the elongated bars. The frame has one or more side tabs for retaining an electronic device within the frame. A holder for holding an electronic device has a retaining member including a plurality of retaining tabs; and a harness member rotatably connected to the retaining member and rotatable between a stowed position and an inclined position. A holder for holding an electronic device has a harness having two parallel elongated bars; a frame having a base member and two parallel arms each having an opening therein; and a pivotable retaining member pivotably connected to the parallel arms. The retaining member releasably holds the electronic device. The elongated bars are slidably inserted into the openings of the arms.

Abstract: A wearable device includes a main body, a housing, and two connection elements fixed to the housing. The connection element includes a body and at least one elastic protrusion protruding from one side of the body. When mounting the main body to the housing, the elastic protrusion of the connection element is deformed to generate elastic force to fix the main body to the housing.

The armband includes a pouch which includes a window and an opening configured to allow an electronic device to be inserted into the pouch. The armband also includes an arm strap wherein the proximate end of the arm strap is coupled to the pouch, and wherein the arm strap includes: holes arranged in a specified pattern; loop cells at specified locations along the length of the arm strap; and a hook cell located at a distal end of the arm strap. The armband further includes a ring coupled to the pouch configured to allow the distal end of the arm strap to be passed through the ring and pulled toward the proximate end of the arm strap so that the hook cell can be coupled to one or more loop cells.

Abstract: A multifunctional strap system for portable electronic devices having a case and a strap on the back of the case. The case securely holds a protective electronic device while allowing access to all necessary features of the device. The strap securely couples a user's hand or other personal effects to the device. The strap may also be attached to a clip that removably attaches the strap to the bottom of the device. The detachable clip of the strap allows the strap system to loop around and be secured onto an object. The case may have an insert that can be used as a kickstand or a protective cover of a card held into place by the strap.

Abstract: The invention disclosed herein is a finger loop for use with a portable electronic device case, housing or enclosure. The finger loop is formed by a strip of material such as silicone or rubber that extends away from the rear outer surface of the case, housing, or enclosure, and returns to the rear outer surface of the case, housing, or enclosure thereby forming a loop through which a user can insert at least one, or a plurality of fingers to aid in holding the device. The strip of material may include features to increase friction with the inside surface of the case or with the portable electronic device itself.

Abstract: A grippable support apparatus functions as a combination support stand and carrying handle for portable electronic devices. The apparatus includes a base member, an attachment member for attaching the base member with a rear surface of the table device, and an interface configured to be gripped by the hand of an associated user for carrying the tablet device from place to place. The interface includes first and second interface members configured to engage a ventral side and a dorsal side, respectively, of the hand of the user.

The holder includes a first body having a first connecting portion and a first wearing portion and a second body having a second connecting portion suited to connect with the first connecting portion and a second wearing portion, wherein the first body is suitable to connect with the second body. At least one of the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion is suitable for connecting with the connecting unit, and a wearing space is formed to wear for users by the combination of the first wearing portion and the second wearing portion.

Abstract: Holders for portable handheld electronic devices. An embodiment has a compartment on a backplate that allows both a retractable cord and headpiece to be stored inside when not used. A spring loaded rewinder automatically retracts the cord and headpiece into the compartment where a hinge attached lid hides and protects the cord and headpiece. The backplate can include an internal inwardly protruding prong that is attached to the cord so that sliding the portable device into the holder plugs the prong into a socket on the device, and sliding the device out removes the socket from the prong. Another embodiment has a portable handheld electronics device holder with a built on bottle opener and can tab opener.

The armband includes a pouch which includes a window and an opening configured to allow an electronic device to be inserted into the pouch. The reconfigurable cumberbund allows for multiple quick-disconnect cable harnesses to be weaved into the cumberbund which enables rapid and convenient removal of hardware that incorporates all I/O to a computer. The reconfigurable cumberbund connected to a wearable tactical vest containing a mobile ultra-rugged personal computer is the essential combination that allows hands-free use by the user.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for storing and transporting electronic devices. A housing includes a base, opposing sides, a movable cover, and an open lower end. The base has a cutout portion at the lower end. The movable cover is generally coextensive with and parallel to the base, and is resiliently biased into a normally closed position. The cover includes an access aperture at the lower end. Stop means are also provided at the lower end, partially blocking the opening and preventing a stored device from falling out of the housing's lower end. The cutout portion and the aperture allow entry of the user's hand into the housing for either insertion or withdrawal of the device. During either process, the user's hand causes the cover temporarily to be raised into an open position. A sling, a backpack harness, or a handle may be selectively attached to the housing for transport or storage.

Abstract: An extendable and retractable earpiece cable assembly for mobile communication or sound devices including a reel housing integrally formed with or detachably connected to a casing for protecting a mobile electronic device. The reel housing includes a reel mechanism around which the earpiece cables are removably wound. The reel housing includes a flexible wall that is located adjacent an actuator in the reel housing, the actuator operable to retract the earpiece cables into the reel housing. The earpiece cables are extendable from and retractable into the reel housing. Each of the earpiece cables have one end attached to an earpiece and each of the earpiece cables have a second end attached to a connector plug to electrically connect the earpieces to the mobile electronic device. The casing or the reel housing also supports a carrying clip that allows a user to attach the mobile communication or sound device and earpiece assembly to an article of clothing or other accessory item supported by the user.

The personal armband storage device is resistant to slippage during physical activity due to increased friction between the back plate and the upper arm.

Abstract: A wearable assembly for carrying a device is disclosed. The wearable assembly has a plurality of adjacent staggered bands in which each band is engaged with at least one adjacent band such that the bands slide relative to the adjacent band. The wearable assembly may have a locking mechanism for securing the bands in place, and a platform for holding a device. The user may then move and position the platform that holds the electronic device relative to the bands, and may rotate and swivel the electronic device to a desired angle of orientation.

The keeper mainly comprises a housing formed by a shell (12) and a base (14), a spool assembly (16) controlled by a spiral spring (18) and a ratchet mechanism consisting of a ratchet plate (32) in the spool, a ratchet bead (20), and a straight slot (50) in the base, a clip (22), and a length of cord (24) with a bob (72) securing a strap loop (90). The shell has a cord port (28) and is rotatable independently from the spool so that the cord remainder is adjustable even after the cord is fully retracted by the spring. The strap loop ties a personal portable device directly through its strap holder or the like. The keeper is fully operable through the cord dragged by the portable device that is normally held and operated by one hand.

The thin electronic product can be visibly fastened to the external lateral surface by the locating portion. Because the supporting apparatus can be firmly put on a surface and define a predetermined angle with respect to the surface, while the thin electronic product is fixed to the external lateral surface of the main body, the thin electronic product can define the predetermined angle with respect to the surface to allow the user to conveniently operate the thin electronic product.

Abstract: A holster for a portable device is described. The holster includes a cleaning mechanism for cleaning a surface of a portable device while it is in the holster. The cleaning mechanism comprises a cleaning head movably coupled to a housing of the holster and positioned adjacent an interior surface of the holster; and an actuator coupled to the cleaning head and positioned on an exterior portion of the holster. Movement of the actuator moves the cleaning head, cleaning a portion of a surface of the portable device.

Abstract: A case for holding an electronic device includes a body having a void for holding the electronic device. The void approximately replicates the shape of the electronic device such that a face of the electronic device is not substantially surrounded by the body. The body has tabs configured to contact a portion of the face of the electronic device and hold the electronic device in the void such that it is held in place. The body has a flexible body portion, the flexible body portion defined by a cut in the body, dividing the body into a hinge portion and a main body. The hinge portion is configured to be flexed away from the main body to provide a direction that the electronic device is slidably removed.

Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a holding device for a phone or other electronic device. The device has an exterior housing and a generally hollow interior. The back of the exterior housing has a plurality of finger receiving finger loops which pivot from a generally parallel position with respect to the back of the device to a generally perpendicular position with respect to the back of the device. The finger loops may move independently and be independently added or removed from the device.

Abstract: A case for an electronic device includes a main body configured to secure and protect the electronic device and one or more accessory-attachment nodes configured to be coupled to a case accessory. Example case accessories include shoulder straps, car headrest frames, wall-mounting frames, and the like. When the electronic device case is mated to the case accessory using the one or more accessory-attachment nodes, the electronic device may be securely positioned for transport and/or use. Further, the one or more accessory-attachment nodes may allow the case and, in particular, the electronic device coupled to the case, to be easily moved from one case accessory to another case accessory.

Abstract: A hand grip for an electronic device is disclosed. An example hand grip may include a backing removably attachable to a back side of the electronic device by stretching over opposite edge portions of the electronic device. The hand grip may also include a handle member connecting with the backing. The handle member connects with one or more finger of a user to securely hold the handheld electronic device by the hand of the user.

Abstract: In one preferred embodiment, the present invention is a gripper for gripping a portable electronic device case. The case has a defined opening, and an inside and outside. The gripper comprises a retainer to partially pass through the case opening, and the retainer defines two opposing slots. There is a retractable strap having two flanged ends. Each strap flanged end is passed through the retainer slots to communicate with the case inside. The strap flange is shaped to prevent the strap from completely passing through said retainer slots to the case outside when the strap is pulled. The gripper facilitates carrying a portable electronic device using a single finger, or an open hand, depending on the size of the device.

Each of the plurality of finger receivers defines a passageway configured to receive a corresponding finger of an electronic mobile device user such that the electronic mobile device is supportable thereby.

Abstract: An apparatus for carrying hand held electronic and other types of devices includes a flexible substrate and a lanyard secured to the substrate. The substrate has opposite first and second surfaces and opposite first and second end portions. A layer of adhesive material is applied to at least a portion of the substrate first surface, and a protective layer of material is releasably secured to the adhesive material. When the protective layer is removed, the adhesive material is exposed such that the substrate can be secured to a device via the adhesive material. The adhesive material is intended to securely attach the substrate to the device and such that removal therefrom is difficult. The lanyard allows for the substrate and an attached device to be suspended around the neck of a user.

Abstract: Systems and methods for supporting an electronic device include an electronic device storage chamber; a shoulder strap attached to a top end of the electronic device storage chamber; a chest strap attached to a surface of the electronic device storage chamber; a bottom arm hingeably attached to a bottom end of the electronic device storage chamber; a ball joint attached to the bottom arm; and an electronic device support arm having a first end attached to the ball joint. In one embodiment, a phone arm can be attached to a surface of the electronic device storage chamber to adjustably support the position of a phone so that a user can simultaneously use the phone and the electronic device such as a tablet in a hands-free manner.

The holder may be in the general form of a rectangular box structure with a back side wall with a hanger attached, a right and a left side wall attached to the back side wall, a front side wall attached to the two side walls, and a bottom wall to form an open top interior chamber. The case has a view port for the screen and four attachment blade ports. One blade port is on each side of the device case. The platform has two adjustable support legs with an attachment blade, padded end and a string lock. The attachment blades are insertable into the blade ports and lock with a snap tab into the port. The platform further has a length of string with a sleeve of padding and an adjustment loop attached to each leg. The string can be adjusted so the platform has a deployed mode and a carrying mode.

Abstract: A gadget holding device for releasably holding a cell phone, an ipod or other similar gadget on a users clothing, belt or purse. The gadget holding device preferably comprising a clip, a D-ring, and a hanging interlock clasp, wherein the D-ring connects the clip to the hanging interlock clasp that permits the D-ring to rotate relative to the clip and the hanging interlock clasp to rotate and slide relative to D-ring. This configuration releasably holds a gadget and enables easy one-handed release from the gadget holding device. In this way, the gadget-holding device is a sleek, flat, lightweight, fashionable and ultimately inconspicuous way to carry a cell phone, music player or any other gadget on a person comfortably.

Abstract: A holder for a handheld device such as a smartphone or personal digital assistant (PDA) worn securely on a wrist, that allows the device to selectively rotate to a plurality of desired positions while remaining on the wrist. The holder has a protective shell case rotatably connected to a wrist strap by a pair of interlocking assemblies. In a first embodiment, a spring assembly with a pair of tabs on the wrist strap connects to a socket assembly attached to the shell case. In a further embodiment, the socket assembly on the strap connects to the spring assembly on the case. The shell case holds the device, allowing a user to directly access and use the device single-handedly when worn on the wrist. The device rotates between portrait and landscape positions by grasping the shell case and twisting, and detaches quickly by squeezing the tabs, disengaging the interlocking assemblies.
