Abstract: An assembly for dispensing sheeting from a roll comprises a main tube with a lower support extending from the main tube and configured to support the roll, and with an upper support extending from the main tube at a distance from the lower support. The lower support and the upper support secure opposite ends of the roll, such that the roll can rotate while sheeting is dispensed from the roll. In some embodiments, the assembly further includes one or more arms pivotally connected to the main tube and configured to partially enclose the roll and/or a securing member (or rod) configured to engage the roll along its length. In some embodiments, the assembly further includes a connection tube pivotally connected to the main tube and configured to removably attach the assembly to a vehicle.

Abstract: Provided are a mobile processing frame, a mobile processing system, and a method of processing. The mobile processing frame includes a base portion having an electrical receptacle and a pneumatic receptacle positioned thereon, a turntable rotatably coupled to the base portion, a motor secured to the base portion and operably connected to the turntable, a mobile support secured to the base portion, opposite the turntable, and a locking member configured to selectively restrict movement of the mobile support. The turntable is configured to receive a processing material thereon, and feed the processing material therefrom. The processing system includes the mobile processing frame, a control device, and a transport device configured to move the frame. The method includes positioning a processing material on a frame, moving the frame to a processing area, coupling a control device to the frame, and feeding the processing material from the frame to a processing device.

The front is open. A divider is coupled to the housing and is positioned in the internal space, defining a pair of compartments. A pair of slots is positioned through the sidewall of the housing. Each slot extends to a respective compartment. The compartments are positioned in the housing such that each compartment is configured for insertion of a respective roll of crepe paper. The slots are positioned in the housing such that each slot is configured for insertion of a free end of the respective roll of crepe paper. Thus, when the guiding element is pressed, the lower panel is lifted by the action of the guiding element on the cam groove such that the upper edge of the lower panel is higher than the upper edge of the cutter; and the guiding element drives the upper panel to lift and separate the upper and lower panels in order to protect a user's hand from being cut or scratched while pulling out the food wrap.

Abstract: A storage unit/workstation is described which allows efficient storage and use of several rolls of package wrapping material in conjunction with the tools needed to perform such wrapping. The storage unit/workstation includes a cabinet wherein the rolls of wrapping material are mounted to allow the wrapping material to be dispensed by unspooling it from the rolls. A working platform is situated below the cabinet so that the user may place a package on the platform and wrap it with wrapping material pulled from the cabinet. The platform may be stowed when not in use.

Abstract: The present invention 10 discloses a tape dispenser having a plurality of spindles 26 that will hold various width tape rolls 14 within a housing 30 containing compartments for the tape rolls. The housing 30 is comprised of a rigid material having a plurality of grooves 28 on opposing walls of the housing for axially mounting spindles 26 holding tape rolls 14 therewith. There are serrated members 20 extending from the housing 30 enabling tape to be sheared into any length needed. Cover 16 also has pivots 22 and a locking element 24.

More preferably, the apparatus provides easy positioning of such chains into a ready-to-use position so that a user may dispense a supply of such chain. The medical apparatus includes a frame and a bobbin around which a chain is wound. The chain preferably is elongate, homogeneous, and unitary and more preferably is a molded chain of plural cut-separable intraoral ligators (i.e., O-ring ligators) for use during an orthodontic ligating procedure. A hub structure and an anvil are attached to the frame. The hub structure includes a hub for mounting the bobbin thereon so that the bobbin rotates about the hub as the chain pays out from the bobbin.

Abstract: An interconnecting structure for connectable tape stands formed with a plurality of resilient fingers extending axially from the free end of a hollow cylinder which extends from the inner face of a side wall, and the free ends of the resilient fingers being formed with radially outwardly facing flanges. Through holes penetrating onto the wall of the supporting cylinder are formed in alignment with the resilient fingers on the outer face of the side wall. As a result, when the resilient fingers of one tape stand are inserted into the corresponding through holes on another tape stand, the flanges on the respective resilient fingers will enter the through holes and rest on the inner face of the side wall, thus to complete the interconnection of the tape stands. In addition, grooves are formed axially inwardly in the hollow cylinder on both sides of the resilient fingers for increasing the flexibility of the resilient fingers such that a tape roll is easy to replace.

Abstract: A convenient, contamination-free dental floss dispenser assembly having a housing and at least one roll of dental floss mounted for rotation therein. The housing having a dental floss dispensing orifice and cut-off means for cutting off pieces of the dental floss. The floss being free from engagement with the housing and spaced away by at least one-half inch from the housing when the floss extends from the orifice to the cut-off means. Accordingly, the floss free of retaining means, may be gripped by the fingers without touching or contaminating any other part of the housing. The dispenser may also incorporate a means for securely holding the assembly against movement without engagement of the housing by either hand during the dispensing and cutting off of the floss.

Abstract: A dispensing apparatus for serially dispensing flexible plastic bags from a wound package of bags which are joined along perforated severance lines, including a panel, and at least one elongate dispensing slot extending through the panel. The slot includes relatively narrow and linearly aligned outer edge portions, and a laterally extending tongue positioned between the outer edge portions. Also, an opening is located on one side of the tongue. In use, the opening is used to facilitate thread-up of the initial bag through the slot, and the two outer edge portions serve to engage and hold the bag in the slot. During withdrawal, the tongue engages the central portion of the bag, and when the tongue engages the next perforated severance line, or the bottom of the cut out in the case of T-shirt bags, a significant resistance is imparted which causes the severance line to rupture, with the next bag positioned in the slot and ready to be engaged and withdrawn.

Abstract: An apparatus for holding, containing, and dispensing sterile, hygienic cordage, such as dental floss and suture materials. The apparatus comprises: a housing; and cutting and retaining means. The housing has a depression formed therein across which the cordage is placed. The apparatus allows a user to grasp the cordage, withdraw a desired length of cordage, and sever a trailing end thereof without manually touching the apparatus. This reduces the threat of cross-contamination between successive uses and/or users of the apparatus.

One of the side panels supports a cantilevered bottom shelf (16) extending toward an adjacent side panel such that a dispensing slot is formed. The bottom shelf is inclined from the adjoining panel such that a roll (32) of sheet material is held in place by the inclined bottom shelf and the side panel. The lower end of the adjacent panel supports a vertical serrated cutting edge (18). A door (20) attached with hinges from the support beam serves as an end panel and permits replacement of spent materials.

A plurality of single-unit tape stands may be connected one another by engaging their ring tenons and ring mortises with corresponding ring mortises and ring tenons on adjoining tape stand. With a series of connected tape stands, tapes of diverse colors and patterns may be conveniently provided for the users to choose freely. The connective tape stand is also characterized by two flanges extended from the rear half circumference of two tape support rings inside the side walls to an adequate width. With these extended flanges, tape reel mounted thereon may be more steadily held without slipping off the tape support rings when the tape is pulled.

The backing member and cover are helically wound onto a reel and stored in a dispensing container. The container includes two dispensing openings, one for the paint-removing substance containing backing member, and one for the cover sheet. Some portions of the backing member are free of paint-removing substance and adhesive material is located in those areas whereby the tape can be removably affixed to the paint containing substrate.

Abstract: A fixture for displaying and storing rolls of wallpaper comprising a support having opposed side walls, a back wall and an open front; a plurality of open-topped bins extending between the side walls in an evenly spaced vertical relationship, each of the bins having an unwrapped roll of wallpaper rotably mounted therein with the front edge of the roll displayed over the front wall of the bin; a cutter extending along the top of the front wall of each bin to allow a user to cut off a length of the roll; and a shelf sloping upwardly from the lower rear wall of the bin to the back wall of the support for storing wrapped rolls of wallpaper which are identical to the unwrapped roll in the associated bin.

The hubs are aligned in pairs about the axis and each pair is adapted to receive and rotatably support a roll of sheet material. The dispenser has a semi-cylindrical cover for each pair of hubs with each cover having a cutting edge and bearings adapted for engaging with the pair of hubs to support the cover so that the cover is rotatable from an open position in which the pair of hubs are exposed to a closed position covering the pair of hubs. The dispenser has brackets which rotatably support the housing. One of the brackets and the housing are connected by spring loaded manually operable locking means so that the housing can be rotated to and then locked in a position allowing removal of sheet material.

Abstract: A pin extending along an axis which is mutually parallel to the axis of rotation of a roll of tape and the axis of rotation of a roll of masking sheet in a masking machine deflects tape inboard from the normal tangential path between rolls whereby the tape is coursed into overlapping engagement while the edge of the roll of masking sheet material. An auxiliary roll of tape is rotatably carried by a subframe which is slidably engagable with a slot formed in the frame of a masking machine. The subframe, which is removable, is automatically retained by a manually releasable detent.

Abstract: A device for applying covering material provided in the form of a roll, said material having an adhesive layer (31) along one edge section. The device comprises a frame (1) with two parallel holders (3, 4) each for carrying a roll (5, 6) of covering material. A handle (7) connected to the frame extends transversely to said holders and inclined in relation to the plane of the holders. The device simultaneously receives oppositely wound rolls on the holders and permits a web of covering material to be fed from either of the two rolls in opposite directions, as desired. The handle (7) can be swung between two oppositely inclined positions so that the device can be moved in one or the other application direction as desired in order to feed out a web of covering material from the relevant roll of covering material. A web-shearing means (9, 10) is arranged on the frame for respective webs of covering material.

Abstract: A wall mounted toilet tissue dispenser for two very large rolls of toilet tissue. The rolls are rotatably supported side by side in the dispenser with the axis of each roll perpendicular to the mounting wall of the dispenser. Paper is dispensed through a dispensing opening located at the bottom of the dispenser. Tail guide members are provided in the dispenser for limiting the location in the dispensing opening of the tail of each roll of tissue and for guaranteeing that the paper is at an angle to the vertical when the paper is severed so that after the paper is cut the tail will project below the dispensing opening when the paper falls to a vertical position.

Abstract: A dispenser for a roll of sheet material has a body that defines an elongate chamber open at the front. Baffle and closure members are pivotally mounted to the body for movement between open and closed positions. The baffle member can be mounted at a lower edge, while the closure member is mounted at an upper edge. A closure member includes a cutting edge for a sheet of material. In the closed positions of the baffle and closure members, material from a roll passes through a gap formed between the baffle and closure members. A piece of the sheet of material can then be torn off by one hand, by pulling it against the cutting edge.

Abstract: A leader tape housing is provided with a compartment for mounting a reel with a leader tape thereon. A guide is provided for changing the path of the tape and the plane of the tape. A feeder device is provided in the housing which includes a first roller and a second roller forming a nip therebetween, the second roller being provided with a manually operable handle for driving it. The second roller includes a pair of diametrically opposed arc segments and a pair of diametrically opposed flats, such that the arc segments, when opposite the first wheel, form a nip with the wheels in contact therewith, and when the flats are opposite the first wheel, a gap is formed at the nip, allowing the tape to be pulled through without restraint. A cutting device is mounted on the cutting path on the outside of the housing for moving a knife against a die across the path of the tape, and means are provided for adjusting the angular plane of the knife. An adhesive tape dispenser is also mounted on the housing.

Abstract: A sheet material dispenser which is characterized by a housing having an open top and bottom, and provided with spaced side rails for engaging a pair of supporting brackets mounted on the bottom of a cabinet. The housing side rails slidably engage the brackets to mount the housing beneath the cabinet and the housing contains multiple cylindrically-shaped rolls of paper towels and wrapping material such as plastic wrap, waxed paper and aluminum foil, in addition to plastic bags contained in a dispensing box. The rolls of wrapping material and paper towels are rotatably secured to oppositely- disposed spindles attached to spindle plates which are slidably inserted in facing flanges attached to opposite sides of the housing walls. The paper towels and various wrapping material are dispensed in sheets from beneath the housing by grasping the leading edges of the rolls, unrolling a sheet of desired length and engaging the material with serrated teeth on cutting blades to produce a sheet of selected size.

Abstract: An improved tape dispenser/receptacle having complimentary oblong-shaped top and bottom portions adapted to mate with each other, wherein the improvement consists of: first and second spool-dispensing axes, each axes composed of ten pegs; longitudinally-oriented inner and outer sets of ridges, extending downward from underneath the device's top portion; a plurality of tape exist and flattening apertures; resilient tabs extending outward from the device's side walls, in one-to-one correspondence with the exit/flattening apertures; and a cutting surface. The spool-dispensing axes hold rolls of tape or other material which may be marked with identifying indicia. The inner ridges touch the radial surface of the tape rolls to keep the rolls from wobbling during dispensing, while the outer ridges act as means to keep the tape straight en route through the exit/flattening apertures.

Abstract: A masking apron dispensing apparatus comprises a base, a support member extending generally upwardly from the base, and at least one paper roll support unit mounted to the support member and extending generally perpendicularly therefrom; each paper roll support unit further comprising means for supporting a roll of masking tape adjacent at least one end of the paper roll support unit, means for facilitating positive pressure engagement of the tape against a roll of paper supported on the support unit, and cutter bar means for severing the paper and tape to a desired length. Each of the paper roll support shaft units may support two or more paper rolls and each may support two or more rolls of masking tape. As an alternative embodiment, a hand-carried single paper roll support shaft dispenser is also disclosed.

Abstract: A masking apron dispensing apparatus comprises a base, a generally upwardly extending support shaft mounted to the base, and at least one paper roll support unit mounted to the support shaft and extending generally perpendicularly therefrom; each paper roll support unit further comprising means for supporting a roll of masking tape adjacent at least one end of the paper roll support unit, means for facilitating positive pressure engagement of the tape against a roll of paper supported on the support unit, and cutter bar means for severing the paper and tape to a desired length. Each of the paper roll support shaft units may support two or more paper rolls and each may support two or more rolls of masking tape. As an alternative embodiment, a hand-carried single paper roll support shaft dispenser is also disclosed.

Abstract: A roll of tape or paper is releaseably retained upon a roll holder by a flexible retention member, carried by the holder and normally outwardly biased to engage the core of the roll. A pivotally connected arm is biased to urge a bearing element at the free end thereof against the outer surface of the paper roll to check uncoiling of the paper sheet. The bearing element is automatically lifted and positioned in response to movement of the roll against a camming surface during attachment of the roll to the roll holder. A detachably securable auxiliary roll holder applies tape along the normally free edge of the paper sheet. Also disclosed is an auxiliary tape dispenser carried by the frame of a portable masking machine.

Abstract: A tape dispenser for protected write-on labels from a continuous strip of label stock and transparent pressure-sensitive adhesive tape which is wide enough to cover the label has a frame supporting separate rolls of label stock and tape, a support surface upon which the label is dispensed to permit writing on the label, a pair of blades spaced one above the other such that upon dispensing a length of tape to be laminated to the label the tape may then be grasped to lift the label from the writing surface and sever the label stock against one knife and the transparent tape against the second knife to provide a measured length of tape which will cover the label.

Abstract: A multiple tape dispenser for wire marker tape consisting of a plurality of identical tape dispensers secured together coaxially. Each tape dispenser is generally cylindrical and has an arcuate hinged door which in its closed position forms part of the circumferential edge wall of the housing. Tape wound on a core in the housing has its free end folded back over an arcuate area beneath the free end of the arcuate door with the adhesive side of the tape adhering to the underside of the door such that when the door is opened the tape peels from the back side of the door and stands up for easy access by the user.

Abstract: A device for separating from a continuous strip having score lines defining individual sheets or bags wherein a plate and a pressure bar justapositioned to the plate and spaced apart therefrom to permit the strip to pass therebetween is provided. A bearing or prong projects outwardly from the center portion of the plate in order to facilitate separation sections of the strip along the score lines and display the next succeeding section for easy grasp by an operator.

Abstract: A leader dispenser having separable top and bottom sections housing multiple spools of leader therein. Multiple spool mounting posts provided within each section for rotatably mounting the spools are dimensioned to frictionally engage the spools, preventing the spools from freely unwinding. The spools in the dispenser form two tiers, with end faces of the spools in the bottom housing section facing end faces of the spools in the top housing section.

Abstract: A paper dispensing apparatus includes a base member having a stand and a pair of wheels and a support member attached to the base member. A plurality of shafts extend outward from the support member to respectively support different widths of paper rolls. A handle can be attached to the support member to assist manipulation of the apparatus by an operator. Cutting bars can extend either in a cantilevered fashion adjacent the respective paper rolls or be attached at either end of the respective shaft. A pressure bar can hold the paper roll and assist in applying masking tape from an adjacent masking roll support member. Extension tubes are provided for adjusting the length of a shaft to accommodate a paper roll greater in width than that of the shaft length. As an alternative embodiment, a hand-carried single shaft dispenser is also disclosed.
