Abstract: A tape dispenser housing wound adhesive tape includes a brake spoke tapering (i.e., narrowing) from a distal radial end to a proximal radial end relative to a tape rotational axis, wherein the brake spoke effectuates the braking of wound adhesive tape on a hub by contacting the wound adhesive tape, the hub, or both simultaneously.

Abstract: Tape cutting inserts suitable for cutting tape strips from a tape roll having a spool, a pair of spaced-apart spool flanges on the spool, a spool opening in the spool and opening through the pair of spool flanges, respectively, and tape wound on the spool between the pair of spool flanges. An illustrative embodiment of the tape cutting insert may include an insert panel having an inner panel surface, an outer panel surface opposite the inner panel surface, a cutting edge extending between the inner panel surface and the outer panel surface and a pair of elongated, parallel, spaced-apart flange receiving slots extending through the insert panel from the inner panel surface to the outer panel surface. In a stowage configuration of the insert panel, the insert panel may be configured to releasably engage the spool at the spool opening.

Abstract: A self-adhesive activity paper applicator dispenses a strip of paper from an internal roll directly onto a wall and then cuts it to length. The activity paper comprises pre-applied strips of temporary pressure-sensitive adhesive, beneficially having preprinted images. The applicator covers part of a wall to allow a child to color or draw upon the paper. When the child is done drawing the activity paper can be removed without damaging wall. The applicator has a pair of handles and a bottom wheel that facilitates accurate and level deployment of paper. The applicator may be disassembled to refill the paper roll.

Abstract: A multi-use dispenser for roll mourned bags includes a planar base with at least one mounting feature and a bag roll support. The support is attached to the base and is spaced upwardly there from. First and second core guides, spaced apart by at least a width of a bag roll, extend upwardly adjacent first and second ends of the bag roll support. A pair of primary bag roll retainers includes a first side guard and a second side guard mounted orthogonally to the first and second core guides, orthogonally to a long axis of the bag roll support, and spaced apart by at least the width of the bag roll. The side guards have angled brackets at their outer ends. The side guards constrain ejection of a bag roll. At least one snagging device is mounted to engage a central portion of a bag attached to the bag roll.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for applying a conductive paste, for forming electrodes, onto an electronic component, such as a micro chip device. The apparatus includes a first jig unit provided with paste holes, which are filled with the conductive paste; and a second jig unit being movable and provided with extruding pins, which are inserted into the paste holes of the first jig unit, for allowing the conductive paste to be applied onto the electronic component. The conductive paste is applied onto the electronic component, while the electronic component is loaded onto or unloaded from the first jig unit.

Abstract: The present invention is an improved vial-type floss dispenser. The floss dispenser has a spool of floss mounted upright in a cylindrical container with a unique cap design that allows floss to be smoothly dispensed through the cap of the dispenser, essentially parallel to the axis of the spool of floss. Tangling and snagging problems previously encountered with top-dispense floss vials of this type are avoided by the improved cap design that allows the free spinning of the spool within the container. The top-dispense mechanism of the present invention enables the use of a number of other improved features, including a protective lid that fully covers an exposed leader of floss between uses.

Abstract: A combined dry sanitary tissue and prewetted personal hygiene wipes dispenser including a rear housing and a front housing, the front housing being movable from an open position to a closed position with the rear housing, the front and rear housings forming a first compartment for a roll of dry sanitary tissue, the compartment having an opening through which the roll of dry sanitary tissue is dispensed. A second compartment is provided inside the first compartment from which a roll of prewetted personal hygiene wipes is dispensed. The second compartment includes a lid having a dispensing port therethrough. There is an orifice through the front housing allowing access to the dispensing port in the lid when the front housing section is in the closed position. The lid is not removable from the second compartment when the front housing is in the closed position. A lock is included for locking the front housing in the closed position.

Abstract: A dispenser for labels supported on a liner formed as a roll wherein the dispenser has a base member and a cover member which are provided with a first bendable latching member and a cooperating second latching member, respectively, for latching the members together. Apertures in the cover member permit access to the first bendable latching member of the base member for permitting the cover member to be unlatched from the base member.

Abstract: A dispenser for rolled sheet material includes a container having at least one open end and a cap to close the open end. A slot is disposed along the length of the container parallel to its longitudinal axis with a flange extending from the slot and a cutting edge along the outer most edge of the flange. A thumb print size frictional surface is centrally located on the upper surface to permit the user to press the sheet material onto the upper surface to secure it during cutting on the cutting edge. A number of grooves may be disposed along the length of the flange parallel to the slot.

Abstract: A note roll (A,C) is disclosed for a dispensing device, (10,30) the note roll includes paper having a first side (11a) which is clean for note writing. A second side (11b) of the paper includes a self-stick adhesive strip (B,B') by which indeterminate or pre-determined lengths of paper may be dispensed from the roll with sufficient self-stick adhesive for attachment to a desired surface. Self-stick adhesive (B) is disposed on the paper of the note roll along its length and down a medial portion so that paper may be dispensed in indeterminate lengths with a strip of adhesive along the back. Multiple pre-determined pieces (13) of paper may be dispensed at one time or may be torn at perforations (12).

Abstract: A dispenser is disclosed for dispensing strips which contain medicine and can be divided into individual sections as they are dispensed. The dispenser includes a housing having a storage space for strips and a discharge passageway through which strips are dispensed. A ramp interconnects the storage space and passageway. A feed wheel having a peripheral gear feeds strips along the ramp. The feed wheel is actuated by a member operable from outside the housing. The actuating member shifts a drive pawl which engages the peripheral gear on the feed wheel. A cap is secured over the dispensing end of the housing and is held in place by a snap connection.

Abstract: A dispensing holder for adhesive tape comprises a body molded in one piece and an extruded closure member of elastomeric material impregnated with magnetic material. The closure member has a flat outer surface for magnetic adherence to an upright wall of a metal desk or filing cabinet and has ledges at its rear, extending along its top and bottom edges, that define grooves which open toward one another. The body has a flat wall at one side, is open at its other side, has top and bottom walls projecting from its side wall to its open side, and has a cylindrical protuberance projecting from its side wall to its open side on which a tape roll is rotatably receivable. At the open side of the body its top and bottom walls have edgewise oppositely projecting flanges that are received in the grooves in the closure member to slidably connect the body and closure member.

Abstract: A carton for cutting and dispensing sheet material in flattened form with a cutter mechanism for effecting same. The cutter is part of an upper bar suitably attached to the top wall member of the carton with the top normally maintained open by a spring carried by one or both of separate plastic end cap members. The upper bar also carries a pair of parallel plate-like members which extend laterally for substantially the full length of the carton and engages and wipes past a pair of similar parallel plate-like members on a lower bar attached to the front panel. This wiping action places the sheet material, which is manually positioned to overlie the lower bar, in tension with the cutter severing the tensioned sheet material.

Abstract: The dispenser comprises a generally cylindrical or cup-like base member which removably receives a spool of a dispensable and cuttable plastic-coated ribbon or wire which is wound on the spool. The side wall of the base has an opening through which the wire or tape can be fed from the spool. Each spool can be replaced in the base member as it is used up, or a new spool can be inserted at any time, if desired. A disk-like cover member, carrying a central post, forms a tight mechanical fit with the base, with the post engaging the spool, whereby the spool is held in place and can rotate thereon. The base carries an extension plate which carries a cutting mechanism which is generally aligned with the opening in the side wall, the cutting mechanism being provided for cutting, to a desired length, the wire or tape dispensed from the spool.
