Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for integrated article dispensers for leashes which provide greater handling and responsiveness. One embodiment is an apparatus is in the form of an article dispenser that includes a first end for coupling with a first tensile member, a second end for coupling with the second tensile member, and a rigid housing between the first end and the second end. The rigid housing defines an internal volume for storing articles, and that further defines an opening. In response to the article dispenser bearing a threshold amount of tension, a centroid of the article dispenser aligns within a threshold distance of being collinear with a force that generates the tension. While the centroid of the article dispenser is within the threshold distance of being collinear, rotation of the system about an axis of the forcer applies less than a threshold torque to the tensile members.

Abstract: An anti-misuse system for a sheet dispenser having a roll of sheet material and a housing to receive the roll. The anti-misuse system includes an end portion of a roll incorporating a first projection and a corresponding end wall portion of the housing comprising a retracting portion incorporating an interacting mechanism. The retracting portion is movable between a deployed position in which the interacting mechanism affects the functionality of the sheet dispenser and a retracted position in which the interacting mechanism enables the sheet dispenser to be functional. The retracting portion further incorporates an abutment drivable by the projection upon insertion of the roll into the housing to move the retracting portion into the retracted position.

Abstract: An electronic shelf assembly configured to selectively receive a circuit pack including a pivotable handle incorporating a retention hook, the electronic shelf assembly including: a shelf assembly housing configured to selectively receive the circuit pack; a support rail coupled to the shelf assembly housing; a latch rail member movably coupled to the support rail and defining a recess configured to selectively receive and retain the retention hook of the pivotable handle of the circuit pack, thereby selectively securing the circuit pack within the shelf assembly housing; and a spring mechanism coupled to the latch rail member and the support rail, wherein the spring mechanism allows for relative movement of the latch rail member with respect to the support rail while biasing the latch rail member towards the support rail, thereby selectively biasing the circuit pack into the shelf assembly housing.

Abstract: The present invention provides a dispenser for dispensing pre-cut sheets from a roll or a web material to a user in need of the web material. The dispenser contains a product identification sensor in communication with a control circuit. This product identification sensor detects and identifies information about the roll of the web material placed in the holder and relays this information to the control circuit. The control circuit adjusts dispensing parameters for the actuator roller in dispensing a sheet of the web material from the dispenser.

Abstract: An angled core slot dispenser includes an inclined platform sized and shaped to fit beneath a roll of film bags wound on a hollow central core. A core pin has first and second ends, is sized and shaped to fit slidably within the central core and has at least one notch that extends across one of the ends. First and second guide slots are sized, shaped and located to fit slidably about the ends of the core pin. At least one guide rail is located between outer edges of at least one of the guide slots and is sized and shaped to slidably engage the at least one notch. A bag stream guide, side constraints and a snagging hook are attached to the bag dispenser. The dispenser may be attached to an adapter for a bin mounted to a vertical surface formerly used to hold a single wide bag roll.

Abstract: A multi-use dispenser for roll mourned bags includes a planar base with at least one mounting feature and a bag roll support. The support is attached to the base and is spaced upwardly there from. First and second core guides, spaced apart by at least a width of a bag roll, extend upwardly adjacent first and second ends of the bag roll support. A pair of primary bag roll retainers includes a first side guard and a second side guard mounted orthogonally to the first and second core guides, orthogonally to a long axis of the bag roll support, and spaced apart by at least the width of the bag roll. The side guards have angled brackets at their outer ends. The side guards constrain ejection of a bag roll. At least one snagging device is mounted to engage a central portion of a bag attached to the bag roll.

Abstract: A vertical core slot dispenser supports a roll of film bags wound on a hollow central core. An adapter for a bin provides mounting for at least one of the dispensers. An optional bracket has fixtures to connect lower portions of the platforms to a mounting system. A core pin has first and second ends, fits slidably within the central core and has at least one notch that extends across one of the ends. First and second guide slots are sized, shaped and located to fit slidably about the first and second ends of the core pin. At least one guide rail is located between outer edges of the guide slots. The rail is sized and shaped to slidably engage and retain the at least one notch in the core pin. At least one bag stream guide, pair of side constraints and snagging hook are attached to the bag dispenser.

Abstract: A tape dispenser is provided with a roller adjacent its cutter and tape retaining tabs adjacent the roller. The tabs a close to the roller and hold the end of the tape adjacent the roller facilitating application of the tape to a substrate. The dispenser is also provided with feet at its rear end allowing the dispenser to rest on its rear end with the end of the tape remote from the supporting surface.

Abstract: A tape dispenser of the present invention includes an integrally-formed main body. The main body has a rack and two semi-crusts. The semi-crusts are pivotably connected to the rack, so that the semi-crusts can be closed for a tape roll to be received therein. Or, the semi-crusts can be opened for placing or replacing the tape roll. The rack has a front plate and a top plate. The front plate, the top plate, and the semi-crusts are rectangularly arranged. Thus, structure strength of the tape dispenser is increased.

Abstract: A clamshell dispenser for film bags includes a planar base shaped to fit beneath a bag roll. Side travel limiters are attached to the base. A retaining bracket is hingedly mounted adjacent a front edge of the base to prevent the roll from moving outwardly from the dispenser when the bracket is latched. The bracket opens for introduction of the roll. An upward facing snagging hook engages either a chisel cut or a perforation in bags from the roll. A downward facing snagging hook may be attached to the retaining bracket. An adapter for a bin includes first and second bag dispensers mounted to a fixture. The fixture is shaped to fit within the bin. First and second axles are orthogonally attached to the fixture. The axles mount first and second positioning wheels that are located to slidably engage first and second integral channels in vertical sides of the bin.

Abstract: The invention relates to a packing unit to store and tear or cut strip-like products, mainly wrap film on roll, said unit comprising an openable or dismountable housing provided with closing elements bearing the roll, an opening for pulling out the product and means for helping to cut or tear the product. According to the invention, the housing (1) is a cylindrical body provided with a slot (2) and the ends of the cylindrical body are closed by said closing elements (3) bearing the roll (4). Preferably, there is an adherent area (11) on the surface of the housing (1) for helping to cut or tear the product (6) on the surface of the cylindrical body at least in a section beside the slot (2). The closing elements (3) bearing the roll (4) may be discs or polygonal plates provided with annular groove (9) for receiving the ends of the cylindrical body (1) and with a pipe stub (8) fitting inside the roll (4).

Abstract: A plastic bag dispenser with side panels and guide bar includes: a) a base frame with a back and bottom section with open front adapted to hold a plastic bag roll; b) a swing arm and core rod adapted to receive a plastic bag roll for rotation and to move downwardly as the plastic bag roll is depleted; c) a first and second set of opposing side panels located on the base frame for stabilizing the movement of the plastic bag roll; d) an elongated open guide bar having a top and sides located on the open fronted bottom section for movement of bags from the plastic bag roll; and, e) a rip tongue located on the open fronted bottom section with an upward taper adapted to catch and separate a passing bag when pulled forward through the guide bar and over the rip tongue. Mounting mechanisms for the present invention are also detailed.

Abstract: The present invention provides a tape cutting dispenser comprising a body, a pair of a holders and a cutting device. The body has two opposite walls, each of the walls has a hole and an accommodating space is formed between the two walls. The holder is disposed in the hole. Each of the holders has a protruding portion protruding toward the wall along an axial direction and further has an elastic element. The elastic element has axial flexibility and the elasticity bending away from the axial direction, such that the protruding portion of the holder is recoverably bendable away from the axial direction. The cutting device is disposed on the body opposite to the accommodating space.

Abstract: A tape dispenser is adapted to dispense lengths of adhesive tape from a roll of adhesive tape wound upon a cylindrical tape core. The tape dispenser comprises a first sidewall and a second sidewall generally parallel to the first sidewall. Each sidewall has a hub structure, a tape retaining tab, and a foot portion located between the hub structure and the tab. The tape core is rotatably supported on the hub structures of the first and second sidewalls. A tape guide portion interconnects the first and second sidewalls. A cutter is located at a forward end of the tape guide portion. A roller is rotatably supported between the sidewall front portions. The roller is beneath the tape guide portion and adjacent the cutter. The tape dispenser is configured to allow a user to only use one hand to hold the tape dispenser and dispense a length of tape on an associated substrate.

Abstract: A dispensing device for adhesive tape has a flat cylindrical base member with a coaxial axle element inside for the mounting of a roll of adhesive tape. A slit is provided along the wall of the cylindrical base member through which the tape is pulled out. On a section of the wall adjacent to the slit, a curved rectangular buckle is hinged to the wall, which can be flipped away from the slit to be held at an appropriate included angle with the wall. A cutting blade is provided along the outer edge of the buckle for cutting the tape while the end of the remaining tape is automatically adhered to the edge of the buckle. When the buckle is closed to the wall, the exposed segment of the tape is folded between the buckle and the section of wall.

Abstract: A dispensing device for adhesive tape has a flat cylindrical base member with a coaxial axle element inside for the mounting of a roll of adhesive tape. A slit is provided along the wall of the cylindrical base member through which the tape is pulled out. On a section of the wall adjacent to the slit, a curved rectangular buckle is hinged to the wall, which can be flipped away from the slit to be held at an appropriate included angle with the wall. A cutting blade is provided along the outer edge of the buckle for cutting the tape while the end of the remaining tape is automatically adhered to the edge of the buckle. When the buckle is closed to the wall, the exposed segment of the tape is folded between the buckle and the section of wall.

Abstract: An adhesive-tape roll base for an adhesive-tape holder includes a base fixed thereon with an adhesive-tape holder having its upper side bored with an adhesive-tape accommodating cavity for receiving an adhesive-tape roll. The adhesive-tape accommodating cavity has one upper sidewall bored with a shaft hole having a position-limiting block formed on the bottom, and the other upper sidewall bored with a shaft groove. A positioning shaft has an axial guiding groove in one circumferential side and a position-limiting groove at an open end of the guiding groove. After inserted through the shaft hole and fixed on the adhesive-tape holder, the positioning shaft can be turned clockwise to make the position-limiting groove engaged with the position-limiting block, securing an adhesive-tape roll on the adhesive-tape holder.

Abstract: An adhesive-tape roll base for an adhesive-tape holder includes a base fixed thereon with an adhesive-tape holder having its upper side bored with an adhesive-tape accommodating cavity for receiving an adhesive-tape roll. The adhesive-tape accommodating cavity has one upper sidewall bored with a shaft hole having a position-limiting block formed on the bottom, and the other upper sidewall bored with a shaft groove. A positioning shaft has an axial guiding groove in one circumferential side and a position-limiting groove at an open end of the guiding groove. After inserted through the shaft hole and fixed on the adhesive-tape holder, the positioning shaft can be turned clockwise to make the position-limiting groove engaged with the position-limiting block, securing an adhesive-tape roll on the adhesive-tape holder.

Abstract: The present invention 10 discloses a tape dispenser having a plurality of spindles 26 that will hold various width tape rolls 14 within a housing 30 containing compartments for the tape rolls. The housing 30 is comprised of a rigid material having a plurality of grooves 28 on opposing walls of the housing for axially mounting spindles 26 holding tape rolls 14 therewith. There are serrated members 20 extending from the housing 30 enabling tape to be sheared into any length needed. Cover 16 also has pivots 22 and a locking element 24.

Abstract: A tape dispenser dispenses rolled adhesive tape spirally wound on a hub. The dispenser has first and second side members, and a cutter member. Each of the side members has a first major side portion which overlies a roll of adhesive tape within the tape dispenser. A cylindrical axle portion is formed centrally on the inside surface of the first major side portion of each of the side members, and the cylindrical axle portions are telescopically received one in the other. At least the first side member is flexible in the region of the first major side portion, so that when it is flexed towards the second side member, the telescopic axle becomes shorter, and an interference of the hub and/or the tape with the side members occurs. Thus, a braking effect is imparted to the roll of adhesive tape, so as to preclude unwanted unreeling of the spirally wound adhesive tape from the hub.

Abstract: A tape-roll supporting device consists of a shaft, a threaded tube and two side covers. The shaft is to be assembled on a machine body and the threaded tube is rotatably fitted around the outer side of the shaft for fitting and positioning thereon a tape roll of different widths. The two side covers are respectively bored with a threaded hole in the center to be threadably combined with the opposite ends of the threaded tube. The two side covers can be rotatably adjusted in position to closely clamp the tape roll fitted on the threaded tube between them, enabling a tape roll of different widths to be steadily fitted and positioned thereon.

Abstract: A tape dispenser has first and second half-shells, with a dispensing end and a cutter end, and a first cutter member formed in and integral with the first half-shell, and having a plurality of upwardly directed serrations which define serrated cutting teeth at the top ends. First and second cutter retainer walls are provided; and a removable second cutter member is adapted to overlie the serrated cutting teeth of the first cutter member, and having a plurality of serrated cutting teeth of the same size and depth as those of said first cutter member.

Abstract: A wound film dispenser with exterior retainer and method of assembling same are disclosed. The wound film dispenser includes a base to which a lid is hingedly attached via a fold. The interior end walls of the base include false walls which are biased into the base. The false walls include aperture through which the ends of the roll extend to at least partially receive the ends of the roll of wound film material. In so doing, the retainers are provided exterior to the roll of film. The false walls may be biased into the base using braces pushing the top edge of the false wall away from the end walls.

Abstract: A slide cutter assembly for use in sectioning lengths of a packaging material drawn from a roll. The device includes an elongated and shaped body. A first roll supporting portion is located at a first end of said body and a second roll supporting portion is likewise located at a second end of the body. A cutter assembly extends from a selected lengthwise extending edge of the body and upon which an unwound length of the packaging material comes into contact. The cutter assembly incorporates a traversable blade for sectioning from the roll the length of packaging material. The roll of packaging typically comes in a generally elongated and three-dimensional shaped packaging, the cutter device being constructed so that it may be supported within an interior defined by the packaging and upon first mounting the roll between the first and second roll supporting portions.

Abstract: A multiple roll tape dispenser consists of a spool unit and a spool housing assembly. The spool unit consists of a first end cap connected to a second end cap by at least one inner tape roll supporting cross member for rotatably supporting a first tape roll having a first inner diameter and a plurality of outer tape roll supporting cross members for rotatably supporting a second tape roll having a second inner diameter being greater than the inner diameter of the first tape roll.

Abstract: A wound film dispenser with exterior retainer and method of assembling same are disclosed. The wound film dispenser includes a base to which a lid is hingedly attached via a fold. The interior end walls of the base include false walls which are biased into the base. The false walls include aperture through which the ends of the roll extend to at least partially receive the ends of the roll of wound film material. In so doing, the retainers are provided exterior to the roll of film. The false walls may be biased into the base using braces pushing the top edge of the false wall away from the end walls.

Abstract: A dispenser for rolls of wound film is disclosed, as well as a method of manufacturing such a dispenser. The dispenser includes a trunk to which a lid is hingedly attached. First and second end walls of the trunk include retainers adapted to penetrate into hollow ends of a roll of wound film disposed within the trunk. The first and second retainers include multiple flaps which are locked into a penetrating position. The multiple flaps may include first and second parallel wing flaps which are pushed inwardly by a locking flap. The combined flaps may be locked into position by frictional engagement of the locking flap in notches provided in the first and second wing flaps. By penetrating the first and second ends of the roll, the roll is reliably held within the trunk, and less susceptible to being inadvertently pulled from the carton during dispensing of the film.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a single hand, paper towel sheet dispenser comprising a base and a core holder operable to hold a roll of paper towel segments. A paper towel dispensing bale is pivotally connected to the base, the dispensing bale includes in inner brake bar and an outer tear bar such that a roll of paper towel sheets mounted upon the core holder can be generally trained in an under/over path for braking rotation of the roll during a one handed dispensing operation.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a single hand, paper towel dispenser comprising a base, a core holder operable to hold a roll of paper towel segments connected together end-to-end along perforated tear lines. The invention has a paper towel dispensing bale including mutually parallel arms that receive a paper towel strip in a general S-shaped path during a one handed dispensing operation.

Abstract: A movable air-permeable-tape dispenser. The dispenser includes a hollow cylindrical body provided with an axial long opening. A slide channel is parallelly adjacent to a first longitudinal edge of the long opening, and a stepped portion is parallelly adjacent to a second longitudinal edge of the opening. A cover is provided with a row of continuous teeth corresponding to the second longitudinal edge of the long opening and a shaft corresponding to the first longitudinal edge of the long opening. The shaft is fitted in the slide channel to enable the cover to pivotally turn about the shaft between a lifted position for a user to pull out via the long opening a length of air-permeable tape disposed in the cylindrical body.

Abstract: A miter saw includes a base, a table, a support housing connected to the table, at least one rail slidably connected to the support housing, a trunnion disposed on the at least one rail, a saw assembly pivotally attached to the trunnion and movable between a front position and a rear position, the saw assembly comprising a motor and a blade driven by the motor, and a return mechanism disposed on one of the trunnion and the support housing for returning the saw assembly to the rear position. The return mechanism may include a spool, a cable disposed on the spool, and a spring for biasing the spool to a first rotational position, the cable being connected to the other of the trunnion and the support housing.

Abstract: A dispenser for rolls of wound film is disclosed, as well as a method of manufacturing such a dispenser. The dispenser includes a trunk to which a lid is hingedly attached. First and second end walls of the trunk include retainers adapted to penetrate into hollow ends of a roll of wound film disposed within the trunk. The first and second retainers include multiple flaps which are locked into a penetrating position. The multiple flaps may include first and second parallel wing flaps which are pushed inwardly by a locking flap. The combined flaps may be locked into position by frictional engagement of the locking flap in notches provided in the first and second wing flaps. By penetrating the first and second ends of the roll, the roll is reliably held within the trunk, and less susceptible to being inadvertently pulled from the carton during dispensing of the film.

Abstract: An improved dispenser for thin, flexible hand coverings includes a unique mechanism to retain the opposing edges of the flexible film as it is advanced and applied to the hand, thereby promoting a controlled stretching, adherence and release. In the preferred embodiment, the entrapment of the film edges is carried out using interlocking chains that advance through guide channels. Another improvement is that the housing of the dispenser in this case is raised as the user pulls down the film to be adhered, and it is the weight of the dispenser that causes the unit to reset for the next use, thereby eliminating the need for springs, at least for this purpose.

Abstract: A tape dispenser for receiving a roll of tape and dispensing tape including a frame having a back end and a front end, a spool carried by the frame intermediate the back end and the front end, a retaining arm coupled to the back end of the frame and biased toward the spool for restraining the roll of tape. A flat feed is carried by the frame at the front end for receiving the tape and dispensing the tape in a flat configuration, and a corner feed is carried by the frame at the front end adjacent the flat feed, for receiving the tape and dispensing the tape in a folded configuration.

Abstract: Disclosed is a storage container enclosing a plurality of spools for receiving filament such a fishing tippet line. The spools are positioned adjacent to each other on separate shafts and rotate independently. Each spool may be removed from its shaft in the container, and a length of tippet line may be conveniently wound around each spool outside of the container. The spools are then returned to their respective shafts in the container. The free end of each spooled tippet line is threaded through an access hole in the side of the container and extends across the outside of the storage container to a structure that conveniently holds and cuts the tippet line. A desired length of tippet line may be withdrawn through the access hole and cut. The storage container is preferably relatively thin and compact. It may be small enough to fit within an average-sized pocket in a fisher's clothing. When the lid of the storage container is closed, the lines on the spools are protected from tangling and unwinding.

Abstract: A hand-held adhesive tape dispenser is in the form of a partial shell which has a support face and a peripheral wall to form an open face housing. A spool of adhesive tape is mounted to the support face through the use of mounting structure on the shell which rotatably and detachably mounts the core of the spool to the shell. The mounting structure includes spring fingers which snap over the core. An applicating end of the shell has a passage in its peripheral wall located near a fixed guide and a cutter at the applicating end so that tape removed from the core would pass through the passage around the guide to be applied to a substrate and then to be cut by the cutter.

Abstract: A multi-use tape dispenser includes a housing with an open upper side, and a tape dispenser body pivotally connected to the housing to swing up and down on the housing. Small stationery items can be stored in a hollow space in the housing and may be taken out for use when the tape dispenser is swung up. The bottom of the housing has four suction discs to secure the tape dispenser on a table.

Abstract: A portable wearable adhesive or other type tape roll dispenser that may be intended to dispense a single or multiple tape rolls. The dispenser has an enclosed housing and a cap that covers the area where the tape passes from the housing and beyond the area where the tape is separated from the tape roll or rolls. The dispenser can be worn on a belt or carried an equipment and completely protects the tape product from foreign object damage.

Abstract: A tape dispenser comprises a seat body and a tape reel seat. The seat body is provided at the front end with a tape cutter, in the top with a long groove and a joining hole neighbored at one side of the groove. The seat body is further provided at the bottom with a bottom seat having a greater weight to stabilize the bottom seat on a surface. The tape reel seat is provided at one end with an insertion portion, and at other end with a mounting portion for mounting a tape roll. The insertion portion is inserted into the joining hole of the seat body such that the tape reel seat is removably confined on the seat body.

The tape reel seat is provided at one end with an insertion portion, and at other end with a mounting portion for mounting a tape roll. The insertion portion is inserted into the joining hole of the seat body such that the tape reel seat is removably confined on the seat body.

Abstract: A portable dispenser with which lengths of a sheet material may be manually dispensed from a supply roll of the sheet material. The dispenser has a frame including a bridging portion adapted to extend along a portion of the periphery of the roll of sheet material, and end wall portions fixed to the ends of the bridging portion and adapted to extend along the opposite end surfaces of the roll of sheet material on which the roll of sheet material is rotatably journaled. A resiliently flexible cantilevered portion of the frame has a proximal edge fixed to the bridging portion and has a sharp cutting edge along its opposite distal edge. A guard portion of the frame extends between its end wall portions and has an inner surface extending along the side of the cutting edge opposite the roll.

Abstract: A tape dispenser dispenses rolled adhesive tape spirally wound on a hub having an inner cylindrical wall, and an outer cylindrical wall, and a wide “I” cross-section. The dispenser has first and second side members, and a cutter member. Each of the side members has a first major side portion which overlies a roll of adhesive tape within the tape dispenser. The cutter member is mounted between second minor side portions of the side members. A cylindrical axle is formed centrally on the inside surface of the first major side portion of at least one of the side members. There is at least one brake spoke upstanding from the inside surface of that side member, radially extending and spaced away from the cylindrical axle. At least the first side member is flexible in the region of the first major side portion.

Abstract: A tape dispenser comprises a generally palm-sized housing formed of a single piece of material. The housing completely encloses a roll of tape mounted within the housing for rotation relative to the housing. The housing comprises a body enclosing the roll of tape, an opening in the body for dispensing the tape, and a thumb-engageable cover integrally formed with the body. The thumb-engageable cover is pivotable relative to the body to open and close the opening. The cover includes a cutter (e.g., cutting teeth) for cutting pieces of tape from the roll of tape as the cover is moved to its closed position. The roll mounting shaft is attached to the large side wall so that an adhesive tape roll can be sleeved on the r shaft. The tape-pressing member is biased to press a free end portion of a tape on the tape roll against the roller, and is attached to a retaining plate, which is hinged to the large side wall and which is locked on the small side wall so as to confine the tape roll between the retaining plate and the large side wall. The retaining plate can be unlocked from the small side wall so as to move to an open position, where the tape roll can be removed from the roll mounting shaft.

The aperture of the housing body is closeable by a cover. The cover is secured to the housing body by twisting it relative to the housing body. This is effected, e.g., by means of a bayonet closure or a threaded closure.
