Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing a flexible, rolled sheet material can include a housing and a supply of the sheet material supported within the housing for feeding the sheet material along a path defined through the housing. A feed roller can be rotatably mounted within the housing and have a body that engages the sheet material to pull the sheet material from the supply to dispense a selected amount of the sheet material therefrom. The dispenser also can include pressing rollers positioned adjacent the feed roller and biased to engage the sheet material between the pressing rollers and the feed roller, and a cutting mechanism arranged along the body of the feed roller that can have a cutting blade operatively connected to the body of the feed roller and actuated with rotation thereof to at least partially cut or perforate a selected portion of the sheet material.
Abstract: An feeder for an auto mounting device includes a main frame, a blocking mean, an intake assembly, a transmission assembly, an input assembly and a sensor. By the sensor detecting the movement of the auto mounting device and transmitting a signal to activate the transmission assembly, the feeder could be in a normal operation without having an intimate contacting with the auto mounting device. Therefore, the feeder can favorably prevent from tremor and attrition while operating in response to the auto mounting device, conducing to a prompt and regular action of the auto mounting device.
Abstract: A adjusting nut is arranged on a threaded spindle. The adjusting nut supports a first double arm lever unit with a first and a second arm. A second double arm lever unit is pivotally mounted at its first arm through a connecting strip to the second arm of the first double arm unit. The second arm of the second double arm unit is pivotally mounted through a control rod unit to a rocker. This rocker supports a upper feeding roller which co-operates with a lower feeding roller for a feeding of a strip shaped blank. The first arm of the first double arm unit supports a bolt which projects into a elongate hole of a eccentrically supported rod.
Abstract: A method and device for improving the throughput of a continuous web cutter, which is operated in move-and-pause cycles to allow the web to be cut into cut sheets. To avoid tear and web breakage, the web is fed at a low cycle rate at the starting stage. The cycle rate is progressively increased. When a feed rhythm is developed at the higher cycle rate, a constant cycle rate is maintained for the rest of the web operation.
Abstract: Linerless labels in a continuous web, in roll form, are dispensed. The roll is mounted for rotation by a vertical shaft, and periodically a drive roller with conveyor tapes wrapped around it is rotated to pull the web from the roll in an amount sufficient to unwind approximately one length of label from the roll. The adhesive face of the web engages the circumferential periphery of the drive roller and the conveyor tapes past the drive roller, the exit roller effecting separation of the leading label from the conveyor tapes. An idler roller engages and tensions the web between the roll and the drive roller, and a knife blade is mounted at about the point that the web leaves the drive roller. The components are disposed so that the web engages at least about 170 degrees of the circumferential periphery of the drive roller, with the adhesive face contacting the drive roller circumferential periphery and conveyor tapes.

Abstract: A roll type stock feed apparatus having a servomotor drive and a programmable controller operable to drive the feed rolls to feed stock in preselected incremental lengths. A ram position sensor is arranged to be actuated when the ram moves in a downstroke and to be deactuated when the ram moves in an upstroke and the programmable controller is operated in response to the sensor to drive the feed rolls when the sensor is deactuated. The interval between successive actuations of the ram position sensor is timed to measure press speed. The interval between actuation and deactuation of the ram position sensor is also timed to control shifting of one feed roll into feeding engagement with the stock when the ram is at a preselected position intermediate the ram positions at which the sensor is actuated and deactuated.
Abstract: A two part input shaft is drivingly connected to a crankshaft of a punch press for rotation at a predetermined speed. An adjustable cam drive mechanism drivingly connects the input shaft to a driven feed roll. Continuous rotation of the input shaft is converted by the adjustable cam drive mechanism to intermittent rotation of the feed roll. The intermittent rotation of the feed roll is timed with the press operation so that the feed roll intermittently advances a preselected length of the workpiece to the press after each press operation. A clamp arrangement releasably engages a first portion of the input shaft to a second portion of the input shaft so that, upon disengagement of the clamp arrangement, relative rotation is permitted between the input shaft first and second portions. The input shaft first portion is drivingly connected to the crankshaft of the press and the shaft second portion is drivingly connected to the adjustable cam drive mechanism.
Abstract: To cut a strip of metal into exact lengths, rollers are brought into contact with the strip and turned by an accurate motor until a pin can be mechanically inserted into a hole in the strip to effect final alignment. If the pin does not successfully enter the hole, a detector halts the system.
Abstract: A roll feed apparatus comprises a main roll (4) and a subroll (8) adapted to cooperate with the main roll to feed a flat workpiece (7) in a clamped state on a step-by-step basis. The main roll is mounted on an output shaft (2) of an intermittent motion mechanism (3) to be intermittently rotated in one direction. The subroll has a rotation-transmission roll (8a) disposed at one axial end of the subroll and is rigidly mounted on a subroll shaft (6) which is rotatably supported in a roll housing (5a) through an externally rotatable eccentric flange (10), and a workpiece-engaging roll (8b) supported by the rotation-transmission roll and surrounding the subroll shaft. The rotation-transmission roll has a peripheral surface which makes rolling contact with the main roll for transmitting rotation, and is movable toward and away from the main roll to adjust contact pressure between the main roll and the rotation-transmission roll upon rotation of the eccentric flange.
