Abstract: A composite package, in particular a beverage carton package for liquid foodstuffs is depicted and described which consists at least partially of a package laminate, having a package base body including package edges, an at least partially angular package base and package gable wherein the package base body defines, in an idealised manner, a package front side, package rear side and at least two lateral package sides attaching to the package rear side as well as a package laminate and a package sleeve blank for manufacturing such a composite package. In order to improve grip and ergonomy for an easy to manufacture package, provision is made for the package front side to have a positive arching at least in sections which in each case passes into a lateral package side for a grip panel to be formed at least in sections in the region of the package rear side.

Abstract: A foldable container moveable between a stowed configuration and a deployed configuration defining an interior area for holding bulk material is provided. The container includes opposed side panels and a bottom flap extending from a bottom edge of each side panel. A tab member extends from a distal end of each bottom flap and a tab finger extends from each tab member so as to define a hook at a distal end of each bottom flap. The hooks are interconnected so as to hingedly connect the distal ends of the bottom flaps together, thereby causing the bottom flaps to rotate between their respective stowed and deployed configuration positions as the end panels are translated between their respective stowed and deployed configuration positions. Locking tabs extending from distal ends of end flaps extend into the interior area of the container to secure the container in the deployed configuration.

Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing small objects is disclosed. The apparatus includes a frame forming an upper chamber and a lower chamber. The frame supports a rotatable barrel that is disposed between the chambers. The barrel is constructed from a folded rectangular sheet that forms a chamber with an opening. The rotatable barrel is oriented with the opening facing upward to receive objects from the upper chamber into the barrel's chamber, such that when the handle is rotated about a horizontal axis the barrel turns to orient the opening downward and deposit objects in the barrel's chamber into the lower chamber.

Abstract: Provided are cartons, particularly cartons for storing and dispensing consumer products and more particularly absorbent consumer products and still more particularly tissue products, such as rolled tissue products, which eliminates plastic packaging while still protecting the carton contents from dirt and grime. The carton contents are protected by providing a carton having a top panel formed from opposing flaps that overlap to some extent. The overlapped portion however, is designed to compress on center and not to add material height to the perimeter of the carton so that multiple cartons may be stacked one on top of another to form a stable unit load.

The outer box includes a side wall, a tap access feature formed in the side wall, and a removable top wall. The top wall includes overlapping first and second top flaps. The first top flap is hingedly connected to a front side of the side wall along a first tear line. The second top flap is hingedly connected to a rear side of the side wall along a second tear line. The rear side of the side wall is disposed opposite the front side. The top wall is separable from the side wall along the first and second tear lines.

The box has a bottom, six lateral sides, two lateral sides and eight corner sides which are partially transparent and directed towards the inside of the box. The box is covered by a cover so that the sides of the cover rest on the outer surfaces of the lateral sides and seal the box. There is also a second variant of the box. The tool for forming the box, which is preferably made from stainless steel, has a bottom, six guides and two guides, which form the six lateral sides and the two lateral sides of the box.

The second side wall portion includes at least part of the extension portion. A connecting portion of the extension portion connecting the first side wall portion to the second side wall portion is smoothly curved.

The window may include a hole in a base material of the container, and at least one substantially clear polymeric film that is mounted to a portion of the container and obstructs (e.g., covers) the hole. Microwave energy interactive material (“MEIM”) may be mounted to the polymeric film for influencing the effect of microwave energy on the food within the container. Typically (e.g., optionally), the film extends beyond the hole, and the MEIM may be segregated to portions of the film that do not obstruct the hole, so that the MEIM does not interfere with the view through the window.

The box is plastic corrugated and has two rectangular sidewalls, two square sidewalls, and four corner sidewalls. The sidewalls join at their lateral edges to form an enclosed region defined by a generally rectangular shape and four chamfered edges. Four rectangular panels hingedly join two opposing upper edges of rectangular sidewalls. Each rectangular panel has two L-shaped slots. Four irregular panels hingedly join two opposing upper and lower edges of the square sidewalls. Each irregular panel comprises an irregular top edge having a convex curve, and top angled corners. Each irregular panel also comprises irregular lateral edges having a lateral notch and bottom angled corners. The top angled corners of the irregular top edge and lateral notch detachably interlock with the L-shape slots of the rectangular panel to close the box.

Abstract: A pallet container having eight side walls, a bottom piece, two leg flaps that are used to automatically deploy the container from a flat, collapsed position, and a series of inside folds and outside folds. The pallet container is constructed from one or more blanks made of cardboard. The blanks used to make the pallet container may have different configurations. The pallet container has an open and a closed position and can be converted from one position to the other by a single person without the need of special tools or equipment. A cardboard blank for making the pallet container is also disclosed.

The least one tri-layer corner includes respective outer and inner layers and a medical layer which is sandwiched between the respective outer and inner layers and a medical layer which is sandwiched between the respective outer and inner layers to enhance stacking strength of the container while minimizing scarps produced during construction of the container.

Abstract: A display container is provided herein which includes a box portion having a base portion, spaced-apart upstanding first and second end panels, and spaced-apart upstanding first and second edge panels extending from the base portion. The first and second edge panels are located between the first and second end panels, and the first edge panel extends a lesser distance from the base portion than the first end panel and the second end panel. The display container also includes a reinforcing layer which may be formed of a material stronger in shear than the material of the box portion. Advantageously, with the subject invention, a display container may be formed which has greater strength both for product containment and stacking as compared to the prior art.
