  • Patent number: 4779758
Abstract: In a cardboard container, having a bottom wall and side walls, slits are defined to extend only in the bottom wall and the material of the bottom wall is deformed or bent so that the portions of the bottom wall, adjacent to the edges of each given slit, are situated different planes and are maintained in these different planes by means of a sheet of synthetic material. The sheet of synthetic material is shaped by heat deformation to conform with the deformed shape of the bottom wall.

  • Patent number: 4641777
Abstract: A container of prismatic form, in particular for loose sweetmeat products, obtained starting from a unitary flat blank or from two cardboard flat blank parts, in which the opening and closure respectively of the container itself for withdrawal of the product contained therein takes place by telescopically sliding one part of the assembled blank over the other part thereof, this sliding causing, in accordance with the direction in which it takes place, opening or closure of one end of the container by means of a substantially diaphragm device formed by means of particular shaping by die cutting of a part of the unitary flat blank or one of the two flat blank parts.

  • Patent number: 4607785
Abstract: A flat of fiberboard in knocked-down form for setting up into a tray which has strengthened corners. The flat consists of laminated strength-producing connecting corner tabs between hinged side-wall forming flaps. The tabs are formed on the ends of the flaps and some of the flaps are provided with angular fold lines which provide foldable sections in these flaps, the fold lines extending from the flap hinge lines of the respective flaps to a point within the flaps and a slit being provided from that point in each flap to the outer edge of the flap to permit folding of the foldable flap sections.
