Abstract: A re-closable folding box of cardboard with at least one closure is made available, which can be closed by machine without the need to glue the closing elements. The closure comprises a cover flap with a decorative tab, the inside surface of which comprises first retaining means, and second retaining means formed on a body panel. The second retaining means engages with the first retaining means in the closed state of the closure in such a way that the closure is held closed by the force of friction, wherein the decorative tab covers the first and second retaining means.

Abstract: A gift article including a sheet and a box is disclosed. The sheet is capable of providing a surface for inscribing a message thereon. The box is capable of accommodating the sheet inside the box. The box has a shape that symbolizes an emotion of a human being. Further, the box is capable of being closed and opened.

Abstract: Containers for holding and dispensing a plurality of items and methods of assembling the same are disclosed. The containers include a sidewall having an aperture therein, a bottom, and an interior flow control guide to force the items through a rearward restricted passage as the items move within the container downward toward the bottom and forward toward the aperture in the sidewall. A plurality of items are simultaneously accessible through the aperture.

Abstract: A gift box apparatus having a locking mechanism and a programmable timer for selecting a specific date and time for when the gift box apparatus may become unlocked to reveal a gift contained therein is disclosed. In one embodiment, the gift box apparatus includes an integrated compartment that may be automatically released from the gift box apparatus at a preselected time, thereby revealing a key contained therein, which may be used by a recipient of the gift box apparatus to unlock a main compartment of the gift box apparatus and retrieve a gift contained therein.

Abstract: A package having a corner indent wall includes a plurality of upstanding side walls including a first side wall, a front wall, a rear wall, a second side wall and an indent wall. The first side wall is contiguous with the front wall, the front wall is contiguous with the indent wall which is contiguous with the second side wall, the second side wall is contiguous with the rear wall and the rear wall is sealed to the first side wall. The package includes a sealed bottom wall formed from a plurality of bottom wall panels, each bottom wall panel adjacent a corresponding side wall. The package includes a gable top formed from a plurality of gable panels contiguous with their adjacent gable panels and their respective side walls and separated form their respective side walls by an upper crease line. The upper crease line is straight as separating two of the gable panels from their respective side walls and is curved downwardly as separating two of the gable panels from their respective side walls.

Abstract: The present invention pertains to a reusable container with a plurality of tear-aiding lines being adequately configured on the panels, thereby separating the container into the foldable panels and compartments while tearing the tear-aiding lines apart. Further, by means of the designed folding lines, the container is directly transformed into a different configuration with unique designs for keeping a good appearance, whereby the present invention aims to be friendly to the environment and reduce the cost on purchasing by being reusable and increase the extra value of products wrapped by the container.

Abstract: A consumer package having a viewing angle dependent image. The consumer package includes an image that provides a perception of at least two attributes selected from among motion, depth of field, image flip, and image zoom. The perception provided by the image changes according to the viewing angle the image is observed at. The consumer package may comprise a portion of a kit that also includes a consumer product at least partially enclosed in the consumer package. The kit may further include a package holder that may cooperate with the package to enhance the perception provided by the viewing angle dependent package.

Abstract: A food container has a box base with four side panels and four bottom flaps extending from the respective side panels to close the floor of the box base leaving the top open. The bottom flaps are so designed and glued together that the box sides can be folded flat for stacking and then unfolded into a box structure having its bottom wall closed automatically. The box base provides food-receiving area while carrying and serving the eatery. Raised from the top of the box base are circumferential edges defining a tray top. The tray top carries out the decorative role when it is popped open as is possible thanks to the inventive folding scheme implemented in the tray top. The tray top also has carrying handles for the user. The front face of the tray top in the serving mode can be decorated with various cutouts shaped as interesting objects.

Abstract: A blank for constructing a three-dimensional form is provided. The blank includes a rhomboid panel with three edges and two fold lines, which define a pair of triangular panels. Another rhomboid panel connected to the first rhomboid panel along the common fold line, the other rhomboid panel having three edges and a fold line, which together with the common fold line define another pair of triangular panels. At least one securing flap is connected to one rhomboid edge, the rhomboid panels being foldable towards each other about the common fold line. The pairs of triangles are foldable towards each other and the securing flap is foldable over and connectable to one of the second rhomboid panel edges. A three-dimensional form is also provided.

Abstract: A gift packaging system is described that has a box that accommodates a gift; an opening located at one end of the box for receiving the gift, a greeting that is imprinted on the outer surface of the box, and a wrapper for covering the box. Also described is a kit having component parts capable of being assembled, to create a box to receive a gift and a greeting imprinted on the box. Also described is a method for making a gift packaging system that involves steps for selecting a box with dimensions to accommodate a gift; then selecting a piece of wrapping paper to overlay an outer surface of the box, then imprinting an outer surface within the wrapping paper with a greeting.

Abstract: The invention relates to a folded box comprising two principal wall sections (5, 9), which are joined on one side and can be interconnected on the opposing side, for example by means of a flap (39), to form a substantially tubular body, whose ends can be sealed. To reduce production costs, a lateral wall section (11, 12), with ends that taper to a point, is configured in at least one of the two principal wall sections (5, 9).

Abstract: A closable type container for packaging items is constructed of a one piece flat sheet of carton material which is cut and scored to facilitate erection into a box like structure. The closable or clam shell type structure includes an ergonomic toggle action tab having a circular or generally oval shape and a fold line which divides the tab into two tab sections. This ergonomic toggle action tab is movable from a normal position by inward digital pressure on the fold line. Further, radius score lines each have an arc shape which causes a depressed tab section to have a slightly concave surface. An offset fold line between the two tab sections is also disclosed.

Abstract: A multifunctional device for supporting a lid of a container in order to protect an item stored within the container is provided. The support device includes a generally planar upper member. The support device also includes at least one leg member detachably connected to the upper member by a connecting member and projecting from a surface of the upper member. The upper member and leg member have a first function as a lid support when the leg member and upper member are attached. Further, either one of the upper member or the leg member have a second function different from the first function when the leg member is detached from the upper member.

Abstract: A multi-functional container includes at least three components: a box portion, a lid portion, and a cover portion. The cover portion includes one or more pieces removably affixed to, and/or removably supported by, the box portion. The box portion is adorned with one or more decorative designs appropriate for use in a first predesignated application, such as a child's toy box. At least one cover portion piece is adorned with one or more decorative designs appropriate for use in a second predesignated application, such as a wedding gift box.

Abstract: A foldable container is formed from a single blank of sheet material which has stacking shoulders, reinforced corners side panels and display panels. The container includes a bottom section delimited by pairs of upright end panels and side panels. The bottom section is slightly wider adjacent its center than adjacent the front and back. Two of the side panels are foldably connected to peripheral segments of the bottom section, pre-glued and cooperate with the latter to form an open top product-accommodating compartment. The top edges of each of the side panels include shoulders for supporting a container stacked thereon and positioning tabs that extend upwardly and fit into corresponding openings in the bottom of the upper container. The lateral edge of each end panel and adjacent side panel has foldably connected thereto a corner-reinforcing member and create shopping accessibility from the front of the container.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a facial tissue container comprising: a top face having a plurality of top face portions, the top face portions for creating a facial tissue container opening; a bottom face disposed opposite the top face and having a plurality of bottom face portions; and a plurality of side faces in top-fold continuity with the top face and in bottom-fold continuity with the bottom face, the plurality of side faces creating a continuous decorative surface that extends in side-fold continuity across the side faces except at a facial tissue container side interface formed between two of the plurality of side faces. As a result, there is more continuity of packaging, and fewer glued sides. In this manner, any graphics on the package can continue unimpeded, without being aligned and glued, along the sides and up around the top to the window opening of the container. The container provides cleaner, uninterrupted graphics printed upon the container, resulting in a more dramatic and effective visual effect.

A user may grasp a reclosable flap and move the flap between open and closed positions to effect opening and closure of the container. Abstract: Method of producing multi-dimensional print media, comprising the following steps: Providing a substantially flat sheet of print media. Providing an image for printing on a first side of the sheet; the image including an active area that eventually separates from the rest of the sheet; the active area being bounded by a periphery. Performing one or both of cutting and microperfing a substantial portion of the periphery that adjoins an adjacent portion of the sheet. Scoring the first side of the sheet in the active area to provide at least one fold line for facilitating folding of the sheet into a multi-dimensional shape using only the at least one fold line for folding. Printing the image on the first side of the sheet with a printing device. The foregoing performing step is carried out in such manner as to keep the sheet sufficiently intact while passing through a printing device so as to prevent malfunction of the printing device. Die-pressed print media is also provided for use in the method.

In a first embodiment, an information focal edge, or IFE is made by graphically “capturing” at least two corners of the object and connecting them with a marking, e.g., with ink. In an alternative embodiment, two corners are captured using a structural edge or by otherwise marking an edge, thereby providing an “information focal edge,” or IFE. The inner container has an wrap panel attached to a bottom panel wrapping around the inner container to form a cylindrical outer surface. The cylindrical outer surface is maintained by the profile of the lid. The wrap panel is approximately ⅜th of an inch deeper than the box insuring that the lid panels are always held within the cylinder. A self-adhesive strip on the end of the extension maintains the extension in place after the glue strip is removed by hand. The base of the resultant container is level and allows the container stand evenly.

Abstract: A self-locking gift box is disclosed, which includes a decorative element incorporated in the box closure. The unique box closure is adaptable to numerous shapes and sizes of gift boxes having a rectangular opening. The closure incorporates a pair of slotted and opposed, interlocking closure flaps, each of which has a decorative end portion. For one embodiment of the invention, the end portions are shaped so that, together, they form a generally circular bow-like pattern. The end portions may be printed with the image of a bow to enhance the effect. Additionally, the end portions can be die cut to provide multiple tabs, each of which can be bent upwardly to enhance the three-dimensional effect. For another embodiment, the end portions are shaped so that each includes one or more hearts. Other comparable patterns and designs are also contemplated.

Abstract: A telescoping box is formed from two parts, a top part and a bottom part. The bottom part of the box has a bottom wall and a sidewall extending upwardly from the bottom wall. Likewise, the top part has a top wall and a sidewall depending from the sidewall. A collar is located to the interior sidewall and extends above the top edge of the bottom sidewall. When the box is closed, the bottom edge of the top sidewall rests upon the top edge of the bottom sidewall to result in a flush outer surface. The collar and bottom sidewall are formed from multiple panels. The collar and sidewall may te formed from a single blank. The sidewalls and collar are provided with fold lines to facilitate the sidewalls assuming an arcuate shape. When folded, the fold lines are hidden from view when the box is closed.

The straw being selectively attached to the lid such that packets of coffee additives fictionally engage the lid. The lid further includes an indentation which has a predetermined radius in order to receive and secure a packet of coffee creamer. The straw can be selectively removed for use.

Abstract: A construction diagram affixed to a construction paper, for constructing a three-dimensional figure out of paper, or out of any other printable foldable surface, according to the principles of origami and papercraft. The construction diagram includes an image matrix and fold lines. The image matrix indicates what areas of the paper will be visible when the three-dimensional figure is constructed according to the construction diagram and the principles of origami, and the fold lines indicate how to fold the paper. Some of the fold lines may be truncated, depending on the shape of the paper used, compared to how long the fold lines would be if the paper were of a standard shape for the particular three-dimensional figure to be constructed. The result is a three-dimensional figure that is as large as could be constructed from the paper used.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a packing box transformable to real scenery display table mainly having two connectable cases inside of which an accommodation space is disposed in order to receive and fix all kinds of objects; accordingly, a basic structure of the packing box is created and characterized in that the surfaces of the two cases of the packing box are respectively provided with real scenery plain patterns corresponding to accommodated objects; locating surfaces for receiving the objects are disposed at pre-arranged position; moreover, when the two cases with downward opening are connected on a basic surface, the packing box is developed to a real scenery display table so that the objects accommodated inside can be located on the pre-arranged locating surfaces to create a three-dimensional effect.
