  • Patent number: 9204618
Abstract: A folding device having a rectangular bottom transports an animal such as a dog. In the unfolded state, upright first and second side walls are connected on the long sides and short sides of the bottom. Fold lines in the second side walls facilitate folding of the device from the unfolded state to the folded state and the bottom is divided into bottom portions by a fold line running parallel with the long sides to facilitate folding the device from the unfolded state to the folded state. Rigidity-providing wall portions are provided at the location of at least one of the corners, which stiffness-providing wall portions can be secured to the second side walls, which stiffness-providing wall portions are hingable about an axis transverse to the rectangular bottom at the location of the relevant corner for increasing the stiffness of the second side walls.

  • Patent number: 8752683
Abstract: A piece of luggage including at least one section of a stiff shell material is provided. The at least one section of the stiff shell material defines a first face of the piece of luggage and has at least one corner. A portion of the at least one section has been removed to define at least one notch proximate the at least one corner. First and second edges of the at least one section adjacent the notch are folded inward relative an inner surface of the at least one section forming first and second sides. The first and second sides define second and third faces of the piece of luggage. The piece of luggage further includes at least one rigid corner piece secured to the first and second sides proximate the at least one notch.

  • Publication number: 20030205612
Abstract: Conventionally, distribution containers, particularly, corrugated cardboard containers and EPS containers, have been used as containers for conveying perishable foods. These containers are disposed as waste after the containers have been used repeatedly by a few times. The amount of these containers disposed as waste is huge, and it has been necessary to reduce the waste, from the viewpoint of resource protection and environmental protection. Particularly, in the EPS containers, bacteria are easily propagated on the inner walls. Further, in the case of the corrugated cardboard containers, they have not been satisfactory from the viewpoint of heat insulation and cooling of the contents. The present invention provides a foldable distribution container for conveying perishable foods of which a foldable container main body and a lid unit covered on the upper opening of the container main body are manufactured as three-wall structures made of a transparent synthetic resin material and having two air layers.
