Abstract: A receptacle liner for gripping the receptacle and method of making. A liner may be formed by one or more panels including at least one resilient segment extending from a bottom to a top of the liner. The liner segment can be coextruded so that the resilient segment is made from resilient material and other portions of the liner are made from another material that is less resilient. When the liner is placed in a receptacle, the liner can be expanded by resiliently stretching the resilient segment so that the liner may apply a gripping force to the receptacle. The liner can include gusseted side panels. A mouth can be formed as a recess in the top ends of front and rear panels and extend through the gusseted side panels to define handle portions and form apertures in the handle portions that open to the mouth.

Abstract: A trash bag securing system having a plastic liner; the plastic liner inserted into the trash receptacle and placed over the at least one sidewall; a single elastic cord having a first end and a second end and which culminates in at least one knot. The at least one knot anchors the elastic cord to the receptacle. The at least one knot is a stopper at either the first end or the second end of the elastic cord and positioned on the outer surface of the least one sidewall. The elastic cord is inserted into the at least one opening and sized and positioned to fit around the outer rim of the outer surface of the at least one sidewall and over the plastic liner such to secure the plastic liner to the receptacle. The elastic cord may also be further configured to act as a handle.

Abstract: A system and method for packing agricultural produce including functionality for: providing a container having at least one communications aperture formed in a wall thereof; providing at least one flexible controlled permeability bag within the container; providing at least one bag aperture in the at least one flexible controlled permeability bag in general registration with the at least one communications aperture; sealing the produce inside the at least one flexible controlled permeability bag within the container, while leaving the at least one bag aperture and the at least one communications aperture open; providing atmosphere treatment within the at least one bag via the at least one bag aperture and the at least one communications aperture; and sealing at least one of the at least one bag aperture and the at least one communications aperture.
